- Email problem fixed...
•The problem with my email accounts was fixed nothing more than rebooting my MailScanner :/
But, like always, a new problem arose. Our user's table only keeps dissapearing on me.. it seems as if it were a disk space issue so I have allocated some more. Hopefully that fixed that. I do have a back-up of the members but i'm waiting to see if it's full operational. No need to sign up again unless you really can't wait.

- Renovations...
•I was about to start the launch of v9 when I noticed I had to do so much changing in certain portions of the site's programming in order for the new design to be recognized... that, and the lack of funds to keep the site up has lead me to this decision. I will be auctioning off this site's previous designs up to v7 if you have a preferred one just send an email to poncefam@pacbell.net

I still need the news posters to send me their desired username (preferably the one you already had) and email address. So if you want to start posting you must send an email to poncefam@pacbell.net

...And finally the RPG, progress on it pretty much halted once I started school. I have been updating it visually wise but not through its core which is a must for me to do fairly soon as time becomes available. I don't want to provide a release date as you've seen it's always being postponed.

- What's up at Atari?
•The latest issue of GamePro, which features a cover occupied by super saiyan Goku, had a 2-page article about Budokai 2. It basically just built upon the stuff we already know - improved graphics, more moves, more characters, "Dragon Mode," and all that other junk. But, after all of the Budokai talk, Atari announced that it does indeed have plans to make another DBZ game following Budokai 2. And, of course, details are completely absent. Meanwhile, over at Dimps, Uchiyama has hinted out that yet another game is in the works - a first-person Dragonball game. So keep your eyes peeled.

Aside from the main article, you'll find a small Chris Sabat (voice of Piccolo and Vegeta) interview. And did you know Goku has, to date, been featured in over 3 dozen video games? This makes him, arguably, the most famous game character in history.

That's all for now, folks.

- What's After 'The Medallion'? (Movie Commentary)
•News is slow...very slow lol. But I did some snooping, and it seems that Jackie Chan is indeed likely to star in the live-action DBZ movie. Filming should begin soon, and according to spokespeople for Jackie Chan, he is preparing to work on a new movie in the near future, and the wareabouts of his next project cannot be revealed. His new movie 'The Medallion' will premier soon, and immediately following its release, he will jump to work on his next movie. Now as we all know, movie companies rarely hide the details of upcoming releases, especially in regards to casting, filming schedule, etc. They often try to create some hype for revenue purposes. It seems a bit suspicious that he is working on one of these "rare secret projects" and is rushing into the production of a new film that will begin filming at the same time as the DBZ movie. Very peculiar... >.>
Meanwhile, why is FOX and everyone else involved with the film being so quiet? Well, to me, it seems like someone finally decided to produce something with loyalty to the series' truest fans - "loyalty" meaning it's obvious most of the people who will go to see this are fans of the series, so if the movie isn't good, or dosen't appear to be adequet through previews, we won't go see it lol. So obviously FOX realizes that if we, the fans, aren't pleased, they won't make any money. Thus, they're keeping everything hidden until they're sure about we want from the script, actors, etc. They're baiting us with the tiniest of pieces of information (telling us WHO ISN'T IN THE MOVIE lol), teasers (such as the FOX DBZ poster, which was revealed several months ago), and published interviews consisting mostly of generic questions with the standard "no comment" reply. By doing this, they maintain our interest while sheltering the sensitive information which could risk the support of the series' fan base, and thus, their profits. FOX can't do what FUNi has been doing - heavily relying on younger audiences for profits. The majority of PG-13 rated movies (which is the anticipated rating for the DBZ live-action movie) make over half of their revenues from teenagers...who just happen to be the most serious and dedicated fans.
Personally, I'm not so sure a live-action DBZ movie will be that great. But, it seems like FOX, while although attempting to rush production, is trying to do this right. So I'm not going to condemn this before we learn more about it.

Also, just letting you guys know that CN will restart DBZ at the Ginyu Saga next Monday. Finally we'll get a glimpse of a bad guy who isn't pink lol...I've grown tired of looking at Buu over the last 6 months haha.

That's it for me.

- News up and running again...
•Hello all, just posting to tell ya that the news system is operational again. I'll be uprading the form mail script because I found a possible exploit. One last thing I wanted to mention, the RPG isn't going as planned mainly due to unexpected circumstances but I assure you we're working on it, expect many new characters!

EDIT: All staff members, I will need to get your updated email addresses and usernames.
