- Some News..and Media Update
•Yea, well sorry for not posting in a while. I had to do some capacity fillings and a touch of encoding for the clips I had ready. Well now they are completely ready and I'm just viewing them one by one to see if I missed anything. I talked to fRaNk and I'll probably be sending them in a few hours, or tomorrow..depends on how much time I've got. Anyways, here's some news I picked up..courtesy of ANS
AnimationInsider has mentioned that Sonic X will be premiering in fall of 2003, most probably. There's a better story up here at their forums.
Next, Tomy has announced that they will indeed cooperate with Nintendo to publish their Gamecube and GBA (Gameboy Advance) titles in Japan. The first game is covered for Naruto (fighting game) and is scheduled to release spring of 2003. Click here for some development pictures.
Oh, and also - go show your talent and send some of your work to Toki for his contest. And yeah, this is my last avatar.

- DBZ games' sales reports
•According to NPD, DBZ has done very well in the gaming industry. For last year, Dragonball Z: The Legacy of Goku ranked #13 in overall sales, which is impressive, especially because it wasn't even available for the entire year. Also, Dragonball Z: Budokai ranked #6 in January sales, which is also an achievment considering the game was surpassed mostly by new releases...and it beat out Madden 2003...I never thought I'd see the day lol.
Also, I know many (all) of you are fans of The Matrix and are anxiously awaiting it's sequel in May. Well, according to Game Informer Magazine, if you hit the movies early to see Dreamcatcher, you'll see a short Matrix prequel. It's computer animated, so don't expect Neo lol, but it apparently gives you some more background info about the story. This isn't DBZ-related, but I figured you people would appreciate the news. >.> If someone asks you...this never happened. <.<

- Back From Spring Break... -.-
•Yes, I just finished enjoying a well deserved week off from life, and now I've returned to the living. Anyways, here's some news...
Cartoon Network bought up quite a bit of extra advertising space...namely gaming magazines, such as GamePro. DBZ's final stretch was publicized in almost every known gaming magazine's last issues. I'm sure the money spent was well worth it though, concidering CN has raked in one of its highest revenues ever by selling commercial blocks to some big hitters who want in on the action.
Just a reminder, Ultimate Battle 22 will hit store shelves next Tuesday. Personally, I think this game is trash, but for 20 bucks, it's not a total rip off.
