• Webmasters: Tutorials: Sprite Rip using Animation Shop
First of all you need to have an Animation WorkShop. If you dont have one click below on one of these to download: Animation Shop 3.0 -demo *best Advanced GIF Animator 2.7
For this tutorial we're using AnimationShop and SNES9X emulator. The next thing now is frames.. A frame is just a screenshot of your animation, put a few together and you have an animation. In order to get frames you need to have a rom and an emulator. If you have an snes emulator installed and a rom like Hyper Dimension you are ready to begin. First run the rom by opening the emulator SNES9X and going to 'File>OpenRom':

Now look for the rom wherever you downloaded it into:

Goto to the third option of the rom (wich is practice mode):
Now that you have selected the character you wanted frames of, get familiar with the game and see which frames you would like. Click on the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 on your keyboard to take off the backgrounds:

Then as soon as you like a frame press the 'PrintScreen' key on your keyboard(near F12). This copies the whole screen onto your clipboard. Now open your Animation workshop and paste it there.

Crop or cut the frame to fit the size you need. Align and put the frames in order to fit the animation and make it look like the one in the rom.
Put all the frames together and wham you got a gif!

I will eventually write a more detailed tutorial that will be divided into sub sections to get a better understanding of it.
