- Playdia clips and news
•ok its 9AM. Back to work. :). I hooked up the vcr this morning and popped in Playdia OVA. I just wanted to clearify this movie. Yes it does have coola, freeza, turlas, and slug come back to life. And no this movie isn't the lost episode or lost movie and definetly not AF. This was actually a video game. The game system Playdia was released in 1994. The game featured full length animation sequences. Its like practically watching a dbz movie but you can control the animation. So you can control the animation. Whatever button you pressed they did the animation for each attack or button. And bandai release 2 games. The plan to destroy the saiyan-jin and one other one forgot the others name. But there was 2 of them. I payed about $200 for my system. and about $100 for 1 dbz game. These games and systems are very rare to find. But is nothing very special about it. It gets kinda boring after a while. Its like watchin re runs of dbz. But anyways. When you beat the game it shows the whole animation sqeuence without the buttons of screen. So what happen was a group of fansubbers took the animation from the game as raw japanese and subtitled it for anime fans and i happen to of bought a copy about 2 years ago. This playdia movie funi will not release under any curcumstances. Do to the fact that its jyst from a video game. And no funi will not own rights to the playdia system becuase it stoppped developement in 95 due to poor sales. And to close this news i'll have the clips up for you probably later on today or so. I just need to make the thumbnails. If anyone has any questions feel free to post in comments.

P.S Also people been asking me where do i get the movies before they come out. Just to answer your question. I paid about $150 worth of fansubs. And i bought them very high quality for there age. The site i bought all my high quality fansubs was from planet namek when they used to sell them. But there gone now. Don't try buying them from ebay cause they sell crappy quality ones. Fansubs sites are ok but you gotta know which ones have the best quality sources. Thats it for today.
