Tutorials: PHP: Adding Newspro
PHP is short for Post Hypertext Peripheral Coding. It's a great programming language that lets you do many things never thought possible. You can change your layout without having to edit every single page of your site. It's not complicated to learn if you're familiar to SSI and it's very handy. Before you convert anything to PHP make sure your host supports PHP or else it won't work. Free web hosts such as: FreeWebsites.com, Geocities, Angelfire, etc. do not support PHP!
-Inserting Newspro into your PHP Site
Once you have your PHP working, make a page for your News like news.html. Once you've done that, on your News page insert this code to include Newspro into your site.
<?php include("/full/path/to/newspro/news.txt"); ?>
Remember to change "/full/path/to/newspro/news.txt" to where your news.txt is located at on your server. Once you're done your news should load when you go to your news page.
