The Community: Site Reviews: Animega Established in April 2001, Animega was a wholenew site hoping to bring you the best of anime, in a user-friendly and unique format! It has many features for you to choose from aswell as just anime information, some of these features include: Contests This gives users a chance to enter a competition (none currently) and win a prize, for example, the last winner won a sub domain and hosting on Animega just for making a music video! Humor Now this is a great section, here you can find some flash movies, images and links to some of the funniest anime related humor on the net! Newsletter Although the newsletter is currently down, Animega provided some of the best anime info to the newsletter subscribers and its popularity just kept on growing since its launch, infact over 2'500 subscribers! Forums A very interactive forum, which is constantly being used by many people around the world to discuss anything ranging from Stuff in general, to gaming, to graphics, definately worth a visit for fans of forums! Animega Comics Created by weirdpikachu.com, these comics feature some hilarious moments which you have to see if you enjoy a laugh! Animega Films Some great movies for you to see if you are into that thing, saying what codecs you need and descriptions of the music videos. Animega Online magazine Another original section by the staff at Animega taking the sites proffesionalism to the extreme showing reviews of products with comments from each editor on the piece being reviewed along with coming release dates for products. Animega Art Community The latest addition to the site features, this allows members of the community to post their art images which they created and they can be reated by members of the community and reviewed! They currently have a large media section with over 400 images, and 62 dbz episodes, 1 movie and 2 other movies from other animes. They have over 10 anime reviews all extremely detailed and lots of other anime info in the anime logs. And finally on their extra's page they have many articles for you to read and quite a few webmaster interviews! Overall Animega is a great site with a vast amount of information for you to get through! The only thing i think is wrong with their site is the way sections are labelled, like instead of Music Videos, they use Animega Films, now this is ok but a young child may find this site pretty tiring after a while, more of a site for teens/late teens.
