The Community: Site Reviews: Dark Anime
Well this is my second review of sites for DBGTN.com and I think I am going to enjoy this one. As I clicked on Dark Anime I didn't know what to think, Was it going to have crap graphics??? Poor use of colors??? Lack of Idea's??? And No it had none of them instead it was full of potential and a great use of graphics indeed, the way The owner of Dark Anime has used the CD's of a Playstation 2 and put animes on them and made a Playstation 2 Video Game case out of it. I was amazed and then after having my look at the splash I decided to do the next step which you know is entering the site. Well as I have AOL with its 56k connection it took the layout a little while to load for me, so I had to keep my patience in tact. As all the graphics loaded, I witnessed some great graphics, with an image of goku in his super saiyan 4 form on the layout, it had a great use of color burn and the dodge tool in it, and I it really bought out the best in what the site looked like it had to offer for the anime community. As you can imagine so far, I am a little excited with how this site is turning out with its awesome graphics. So I started by clicking on Dark Animes image folio which sadly to say did not load or work when i clicked it on numerous occassions so I was pretty dissappointed about that part. I was wondering at this point if the site was just all graphics and no content but I was totally wrong because then I clicked on his animes and they all had good content for me to read and learn about other animes that I have not yet seen or even heard about before seen as I live in england and we don't get much of a variety of Animes in England. I noticed that he had one anime which is new to his site and that anime was Hellsing which I have heard about and I really like the look of it so I clicked on it and I saw that he had no content or media in his section but just an introduction which was also a let down but then again you can't argue because he had awesome graphics on this page that were to die for. This site is not much on the content side of things but when it comes to the way the graphics are set out then its all business. And I have to say also that there is a good use of the graphics on the layout and the navigation is easy to use and its not to hard to find where the content is that you are looking for. Well its time to wrap this little review up because I am getting tired now and very sleepy. So all in all this site has some awesome graphics and should be visited alot to see what other graphics he has in store for us the next time we visit the site.
