The third step To get links to open in an iframe you need to put a target tag in a link tag or else the page will open in it's own window. Some notes: Iframes are very useful if your host does not support SSI. Some sites need to use iframes because they have so many pages and they would have to update each table of contents on each page every time they wanted to add something.
