Summary:

The Boy from the Future
Bulma asked what did Goku mean, not even knowing this kid, with Goku asking if he should? Bulma was concerned, informing Goku that this boy knew the exact location he would land at the exact time. The boy blushed away, as Goku told that’s weird, that Freeza spotted his spaceship coming, but he did know that Freeza would make it to earth earlier. Goku then looked around, asking who defeated Freeza, because that was huge chi, looking around and asking was it Piccolo, or Vegeta? Piccolo told that HE did it, instantly, that he became a Super Saiyan too. Goku’s eyes grew wide, saying a Super Saiyan? Goku yelled that that’s incredible, and he’s so young too, that we didn’t even know there were other Saiyans besides the ones here. Vegeta yelled out that there aren’t, and it’s impossible, because there’s only two Saiyans left! Goku got a little confused, then saying that’s all right, because he did turn into the Super something, right? Bulma was a little down trot, asking what does he mean a “something?” The boy looked up, then getting Goku’s attention, saying if he could talk with Son Goku for a bit. Yamcha was upset, asking why can’t hey say in front of everyone else, but Goku waved and said he would be right back! The boy and Goku were on the opposite side of the crater, with the young warrior saying that this is far enough. Goku spoke first, telling the “Saiyan” that he wants to thank him for defeating Freeza and his men, since he was actually too soft on him on Namek. The boy then said he, Goku, was meant to defeat Freeza, but for some reason, there was time discrepancy, and couldn’t be allowed, and he, the boy, had to come in between them.

Goku told that it’s true, that Freeza’s ship was faster, and couldn’t go any faster than he already was, but then felt the boy’s power. The young Saiyan told that he, Goku, had three hours left and couldn’t have made it in time. Goku said that may be, but did learn a new skill, making the boy ask what did he mean? Goku winked, saying it’s what they call Shunkanido/Teleporation! The boy looked over, saying teleportation, as Goku explained he learned it from aliens on Yardrat, people who weren’t strong at all, but knew lots of weird stuff. The boy was saddened, saying he changed history for no reason then, and was supposed to meet you, Goku, but then the others had to come. Goku got confused, asking what about history, as the boy asked first if he could ask a question. He asked if he, Goku, can turn into a Super Saiyan at will, making Goku explain that he couldn’t at first, because it happened spontaneously, but learned to control it. Finally, the warrior asked, if he, Goku, could become one now, startling Goku. The boy gave a solemn please, and then making Goku smile and say okay, as everyone on the other side wondered what they were talking about. Goku powered up with rage, making Piccolo, Vegeta, and everyone else turn their heads in shock of power, then seeing Goku’s hair stand up and be blonde, as it was on Namek, and as it was on the boy. The boy smiled and said thank you, that he looks like that when he’s a Super Saiyan, as Bulma gawked and said what happened to Son, that he’s a Super Saiyan? Tenshinhan and Yamcha were terrified, saying that’s a Super Saiyan, but it’s a huge chi, and he’s not even fighting! Piccolo could only keep his jaw wide open, but make Vegeta grow insane with rage, saying that’s it no wonder HE could beat Freeza now! Goku asked what now, making the boy say he will become one too! The boy instantly became one too, having his aura shape around and his hair stand up, making Goku slightly shocked. Goku said it is true, that they do look familiar, while Tenshinhan and Yamcha asked if that kid did it too, but then asking what will they do?!

The boy said excuse me, making Goku wonder what’s going on, when the warrior flung out his sword and sliced it in front of Goku’s face. However, Goku did not make a move, as the sword drew in, making Gohan and Krillin scared straight. The boy did not connect, as Goku still stood upright, making the boy wonder why Goku didn’t move. He finally asked why didn’t he move out of the way, making Goku say he didn’t feel any evil, so he knew that it was going to stop. The boy said he understands, but now, he will not stop this time, making Goku say okay. Goku put up his right index finger, and then had a slightly large aura around it, for protection. The boy came in with a slash, but Goku blocked it right away, and as the young Super Saiyan moved around and around, Goku moved his finger around more, blocking every attack. They finally stopped, as the boy found himself in the air slightly above Goku, who blocked his attack again, and having their aura’s crash into each other. The boy stood on the ground and threw his sword up in the air, going out of Super Saiyan and saying the stories were true then, but then said that’s not true, since Goku is better than those stories! He moved his body to the left, as the sword plunged into his sheath, then confessing that this sword sliced Freeza in half. Goku went out of Super Saiyan, saying that he, the boy, wasn’t coming with all he had though. The boy then asked if he may explain, while Tenshinhan asked if everyone saw that, with Yamcha saying he doesn’t believe it. Vegeta got upset again, saying that this is a Super Saiyan then?! The boy told that he wants everything confidential, and kept to himself, Goku. Goku said to not worry, that he can keep a secret, while the boy finally confessed that he is not of this era at all, but has come 20 years in the future. Goku got surprised, asking the future, 20 years?! The boy said yes, and that his name is also Trunks, and does have Saiyan blood, because he is the son of Vegeta. Goku almost had a cow, screaming out what, his son?!
