Summary:

An Enemy in Common
Radditz is holding Gohan by the collar, demanding that Goku obey the rule of brining one hundred humans to this island tomorrow and if he is off by just one, then his son will die. Goku struggles to get up, when Krillin yells that he isn't a warrior, using a kid as bait. Kamesennin agrees, saying that Goku would would never kill so many people like that. Radditz smiles back at the old man, telling him that if he values his son more than one hundred humans, that's good. Radditz explains further that even if he doesn't get one hundred humans, his comrades will come back to finish the job. Everyone steps back in horror, as Radditz predicts that in just about one month, everyone will be dead, then start to cleaning up. Radditz tells them that it wouldn't matter if Kakarrot killed these, because more will become. Radditz then tells Goku he has no choice, since there is only one choice, making Goku say to give back his son! A different skinned warrior with a cape is hiding behind the house is listening, when Radditz tells Goku to make the right decision for his son! Piccolo sneers at the alien, when Radditz flies off, telling Goku to just try and not fight, because he doesn't even have a fraction of the power to beat him! Gohan whines more for his dad, making Goku stand up on the ground more, reaching out for his son. Radditz then bid Goku good-bye, saying he'll see him tomorrow! He then flies off, cackling with laughter! Goku then slammed his fists on the beach, yelling that he cannot do this! He repeats it more softly, as Bulma and Krillin ask for Goku's health.

Goku then screamed to the sky for Kintoun to come to him. The cloud descended, when Muten Roshi explains to not go all angry and bitter, that he could be killed! Krillin then picked Goku up by his collar on the ground, demanding if he thinks he is any condition to fight? Goku then sat there, softly saying he just has to do something though. Kamesennin told them that they will just have to think, when Bulma told him that it's awful, finding out about a family like that and then a person like him. Goku then finally got the strength to get up, saying he doesn't care, he just wants to fight him. Krillin then went on to say that he doesn't know what to do, that he is so strong, he doesn't know anyone that can take him down. Goku then said, "...his tail," that he has a tail, which means it's his weakness, so all he has to do is crush it, and his power will drop. Kamesennin then said that's right, when Krillin asked how would he do it? Goku told him that he couldn't, but not by himself. Kamesennin then said that that's right, they'll help out, but don't' know where Tenshinhan or Yamcha are. Krillin then said that if they fight together, all three... they will die! Krillin then said if they die, then just wish us back with the Dragon Balls.

Bulma said that's no problem, when Goku said it won't happen, that Krillin and Kamesennin have already been brought back, so the dragon won't do the same wish. Krillin and Kamesennin starred on, until Goku asked if they would still help out? Kamesennin and Krillin stammered greatly, finally saying yes. Krillin then got sad, saying that he'll never get a girl friend or marry! Bulma then asked what if they could just gather the balls and ask to just save the world! Krillin yelled out that Bulma is a genius, making Kamesennin ask if they were going to find all the balls in one day? Krillin sunk into depression, so Goku told them that they would just do a head on attack, that way he wouldn't expect it. Kamesennin then said they don't know where he's at, making Goku ask Bulma if she had the Dragon Radar? Bulma then said that the ball on Gohan's hat! They watched the radar, saying he's going real fast. It finally stopped, making them say it's good he's still on earth. Goku then said it is good, good for him and us! Krillin then said that they might have a chance and Kamesennin saying it's good to go down feeling optimistic. Just then, a demonic voice rang out, telling them they won't succeed. Piccolo showed himself, making everyone scream out in terror.

Goku then asked what was he doing here, allowing the monster to say that he wants that guy. Bulma crawled away, when Goku said that if they know each other, it figures then. Piccolo slowly said that they have met, but the three of them do not have a chance against him. Piccolo told them to place their hopes in him or not place them at all. Everyone starred silently, when Piccolo said that his strength far surpasses his or Goku's strength. Piccolo then screamed that as an individual, they are outmatched, but together, they are victorious. Goku then said it might be, but what's in it for him? Piccolo tells Goku that he has no love for Goku, and it wouldn't matter to him whether his son lives or dies, but his plans are interrupted to rule the world. Piccolo then smiled with a clenched fist, saying that after the Saiyan is gone, he shall turn his powers onto earth's fighters and win! Goku allows him to try and will fight until his boy is safe as well. Goku then smiled, saying after that's done, all bets are off, making Piccolo say yes.

He concludes by saying he can just only hope he doesn't become sick from the thought of joining him. Goku then asked for Bulma for the radar, making her say okay. Goku jumped on the cloud with his instrument, asking Piccolo if he could keep up with Kintoun? Piccolo then sneered more, saying his speed in flight will talk for itself. Goku then smiled and then they both were off. Everyone starred on, when Krillin asked if they should be happy or sad? Kamesennin told him he doesn't know about being happy, but those two are joining together, so they will have to watch, might even win too! Kamesennin then yelled out he doesn't want to miss it and asks Bulma where the radar was pointing, because they're off to watch!
