Comic One Hundred and Seventy-Six
Summary:

Goku VS. Tenshinhan
The announcer tells everyone that after these fights, the best fighters will come to the semi-finals! Those four are Tenshinhan, Goku, Ma Junior, and Shen. All of these fighters have reached levels that no other martial artist can match. He then refers to the table that shows who is where, telling everyone how strong the other is. Kamesennin then said that they are the four strongest in the world, while Bulma commented on how Krillin and Yamcha lost in the first round. Tenshinhan and Goku look at each other, while the announcer tells everyone that this is the first part of the semi-finals, Tenshinhan and Goku! He explains that hey fought each other in the finals last time and were almost equal, so how is it now? Goku asks Ten if he will go all out at the first part, making Tenshinhan say yes. Goku then smiled to the man above him, who Ten looked down evilly at his opponent. Goku and Tenshinhan then jumped in the air and flipped, until Goku reached the bottom, ready to fight, while Tenshinhan follows shortly after, ready to fight as well. The both stood ready as the crowd roared, while Krillin said that Goku will probably show his true strength. Chi Chi asked if his opponent was strong, making Yamcha say yes. Ma Junior then though for a moment, saying that this is good to study his technique. Ten then slowly asked to let him be shown what the training of Kami will bring. This tickled Goku, making him a little less tense for the fight. The announcer then said to go, which made Goku and Ten rush each other, with very concentrated faces.

Tenshinhan then tried to elbow Goku, but Goku blocked it with his knee just in time. Ten then tried to use his middle finger and index finger together as a tool to hit Goku, very quickly. Goku flipped himself backwards to get out of the way, while Ten followed, still attacking. Goku then leaped in the air, with Ten a little bit behind him. Tenshinhan thought he could cut him by shooting a chi blast at him, but Goku saw it. Goku got himself ready and hit the ball of chi back with both hands, making Ten repeal it away. Ten then flew upwards to Goku, flying faster and faster, until Ten was attacking Goku, as well as Goku attacking Ten, but still going up. They fought with punches and kicks in the air, until both were upside down falling and still fighting. They finally connected each other hard, enough to push each other in opposite ways, until landing on the ground. After they landed, both performed Zanzouken, and disappeared from the audience! Kamesennin screamed out that they both disappeared, while the announcer said that all that left is noise, which is very weird! Ma Junior stood on the Tenkaichi Budoukai sign, saying that their speed is unreal! More noises came about, while Krillin said that their speed is almost equal! Chi Chi asked what he meant while Yamcha agreed. Chi Chi then asked if they really could see something, but was never answered. Finally, Goku and Tenshinhan put out enough speed, and sped towards each other, locking hands on each other. They both struggled and frustrated over each other, angrily looking at each other. Goku then smiled at Ten, and then flipped his body on his back, and threw Tenshinhan up in the air above him, still locked hands.

Goku then kicked Ten up in the air, but then got his body positioned up again. Ten still flew upwards, but then disappeared and reappeared on the bottom of the ring. He wasted no time and screamed his body to Goku, which Goku saw quickly. Goku then jumped over Ten, making Ten surprised, but still moving forward. Tenshinhan had to stop fast, which is what he did, making his body go backwards. Goku was flipping himself until landing on the ground, when Tenshinhan caught up to him. Tenshinhan swiped at Goku’s head, but hit nothing but air. Tenshinhan tried to get himself up from almost falling, while Goku stood behind him, saying he fell for his old technique! Ten breathed heavily, while Goku didn’t feel any loss of breath at all, making Ma Junior a little worried. The announcer told everyone that there is just no time to even blink now, since these two seem so much equal in strength! Kamesennin silently told the announcer that they are not equal, that Goku is still not tired from such movement.
