Dragon Ball X
By Alex "The Dude" Davis-Floyd
Chapter Two
The bomber was sleek, and covert. It
was impossible for anyone to know who he really was, but some one did.
He got up from his seat on the plane, and headed to the front of the
coach, where he planned to announce his intentions. "Whoops!
Sorry about that." "Watch where you're goin, bub!" The
bomber replied to the man who had just rudely bumped into him and
nearly knocked him over. When he reached the front, he opened his
jacket, where he thought he had placed twenty-five sticks of dynamite
and a remote controller. But when he looked at himself, he found his
chest was bare. "Whack!?!?!?!?" He said, in shock. Back on
the ground, Pan, Goku, and Jr. struggled to make their way to the air
terminal. "When was dad's plane supposed to arrive,
grandma?" Asked Jr. "Any time now, he had a little business
to take care of today." "I can't wait to see what he looks
like!" said Goku. "I'm sure he'll be very surprised to see
you, grandfather." replied Pan. "No kidding!" They
watched the plane land, and waited for Kenshin to step off. When he
did, Goku ran up and gave him a huge hug. "Hi, dad!" Kenshin
was dumbfounded, and it showed on his face. "Huh?! Goku, what the
heck happened to you? You grew!" "It's a long story, son.
I'll tell you on the way back." Yelled pan from a couple of feet
back. "Wha?! If you're my son, then who's that little one by
Pan?" asked Kenshin. Jr. ran up to his father and gave him a big
hug. "I'm the real one, dad! This is great grandfather Goku! He's
grandma's grandpa!" Kenshin gave Goku a look of surprise and
confusion. "Dad, what's in your coat? Did you bring anything back
for me?" asked Jr. "Just some worthless souvenirs! Nothing
you would like." He then quickly walked over to the trashcan and
threw away a remote control and a strap loaded with dynamite into the
garbage.
On the entire ride home from the air
port, Kenshin persistently stared at his great grandfather, in awe and
amazement. "So, let me get this straight: you guys want to go
around the solar system to find Dragon Balls to wish back Vegeta, and
go to this 'Planet Myuu' to destroy an entire race of ultra powerful
alien androids who individually have strength and power equal to that
of Baby's, before this robo-planet collides with Earth, and you want
to know if I want to go, leave as head of Caps. Corp. and Great Saiya-man
for this righteous cause?" "Yup." replied Goku. "Waddya
say, dad?" "I say Hell yes! I've never been fortunate enough
to go on a real adventure like mom always talked about when I was
younger!" "Then it's settled. You can supply us with a space
ship, and we'll all go find the Dragon Balls!" exclaimed Goku.
"When can we start?" asked Jr. "Today! There is a
Dragon Ball on Earth already, the three star ball." replied Goku.
He then explained how the Dragon Balls went to their numbered planet in
the solar system. Earth is the third planet from the sun, so the thee
star ball was located there. "What about Vegeta? Does he just
miss out on all this, or can he help in heaven?" asked Jr.
"Oh, I have big plans for Vegeta." said Goku. "You can
talk to him right now, if you like. Touch my shoulder." They all
grabbed on to Goku. "...Vegeta...Can you hear me?" "Who
is this?" a familiar voice called back to the group.
"Vegeta!" Yelled Jr. "Goku? What's this all
about?" "Listen to me carefully, you must find a man who is
named 'Kio-sama.' Tell him Goku sent you, and that you are to train
under him. His wishes may at times be bizarre, but it's only for the
best. He will give you further training instructions when you have
completed your training with him. Did you get all of that?"
"Yes, I got it. Who is this?" asked the dececed Saiyan.
"I am Goku Sr. You have no time to waste, go now and seek your
training." answered Goku. "Good bye! See you soon,
Vegeta!" Yelled the rest of the team.
