Dragon Ball Z Aura

Aura - n. pl. au·ras or au·rae (ôr) An invisible breath, emanation, or radiation.

Human: A human's aura is usually small and pure white, unlike that of Super Saiyan or Namek aura. There isn't much to say for a human, except that only a select few can channel their chi and use it in a fight without having to concentrate too much.

When channeling chi, it can only be used for a short time, because humans aren't meant to use up so much energy so quickly. So, when concentrating, the aura is kept for a while, but when stopped, him or her is quickly tired.
