Karin
Appearance: Book Eight

*Old Hermit Training for Son Goku's Hidden Power

Karin lives on top of Karin Tower. He is a hermit that is a little over 800 years old and is just about the strongest person in the world (at the time). He trains Goku twice before Goku can no longer gain strength there anymore. He also grows senzu beans, which can be used to revive the strength of anyone.

With the fight of Vegeta, Karin gave Goku his last senzu beans, which proved to be Goku's greatest friends on the battlefield. (Book Nineteen . Chapter Two Hundred and Twenty)

Yajirobe
Appearance: Book Eleven

*Goku and Karin Give Him a Home

After Krillin's death, Goku went to find the assassin that did so. He ran into Yajirobe, who fought with him against Piccolo Daimaou. Later, he shows up to fight against Vegeta and even cuts off Vegeta's tail. He also shows up to fight the Androids, but later stays up with Karin after that.

After the fight with Piccolo, Yajirobe came to him with senzu beans at the Tenkaichi Budoukai and that soon became his profession. (Book Seventeen . Chapter One Hundred and Ninety-Four)

Mister Po Po
Appearance: Book Fourteen

*Helper and Caretaker for Kami Sama

After killing Piccolo Daimaou, Karin told him to go up higher with his nyoibo to see Kami Sama. After arriving, he met Mister Po Po, who gave him a lesson in to not move so much with so much strength. He also revives Shenlong and gives them the key to go to Namek later on.

Mister Po Po glues a mini statue of Shenlong back together, after being destroyed by Piccolo Daimaou. (Book Fourteen . Chapter One Hundred and Sixty-Five)

Kami Sama
Appearance: Book Fourteen

*Watches Over Everyone and Does Whatever He Can to Save Them

Creator of the Dragon Balls, he is an extremely powerful man, with mostly magic capabilities. He trains Goku and helps Goku throughout his fights on Earth. In the end, he was ready to give his life for the Earth, but Goku stopped him. Kami Sama later just sat up with Mister Po Po above the clouds and rejoined Piccolo later to give him stronger powers.

Disguising himself at the Tenkaichi Budoukai, Kami Sama tried his best to stop Ma Junior with the Mafuuba, but failed. (Book Sixteen . Chapter One Hundred and Eighty-One)
