Comic One Hundred and Seventy-Seven
Summary:

Speed
Tenshinhan breathed heavily, while Goku seemed almost unharmed. Tenshinhan then complimented Goku, saying that he is amazing. Just three years ago he was practically perfect, but now to be even stronger! Tenshinhan then told him that there is something that has not changed over the years. Goku was what it was; making Tenshinhan say it is the most important thing in any fight, which is speed! Tenshinhan then dove right for Goku, but then vanished. Goku looked up, seeing where he was, and vanished as well. The announcer yelled out that they have just disappeared! Yamcha looked up, yelling he doesn’t see Tenshinhan, while Krillin exclaimed he can see Goku in the air! Sounds and noises traveled along the skies, until Goku was revealed trying to do a hard kick to Ten, but he missed as Tenshinhan disappeared again! Tenshinhan came behind him, with Goku still locking onto him, making Ten say that he has good sight, enough to keep up with my speed. Ten then burst himself towards Goku, yelling he won’t be able to much if he just looks for him! Goku then announced that he went back up, but it was too late. Goku was elbowed right on the head from Ten, causing extreme pain. The announcer told everyone that they’re up there now! Goku fell faster and faster, with Ten coming behind.

Goku landed on his hand and knee, but wasn’t about to quit. He then positioned himself and did a bunch of flips backwards to the other side of the ring. He then tried to elbow the reappearing Tenshinhan, but missed, looking over to see the real him. Ten then kicked Goku away, making Krillin yell he’ll fall out of the ring. Goku then tried to position himself and twirled himself back onto the ring. Goku then pointed at Ten while finally sweating just a bit, saying that he is faster than before. He then asked if he was going slow on purpose, making Ten say that he was just observing his movements. Ten then said he was right, that his speed has not changed one bit. Ten heaved a bit more, saying that it’s just too bad, but he shall win the match. Ten tells Goku that he can try to follow him with his eyes, but Goku can’t touch him! Goku then tells him he’s right, that he didn’t think he would be this quick! Yamcha then said that it was unreal; that they think that speed is normal? Krillin then said that they are not normal; while Goku asked if he could ask do something real quick. He asked if he could take off his clothes, making Ten ask if he said his clothes? Ten then said he may, that it is a bit hot here. Goku started to take of his shirt, saying that he did train very hard! Ten said that that is a given, that he hates to lose! The announcer wiped his head, saying that they are taking a break. He tells that Goku is taking off parts of his uniform, but with the heat it is now, it is understandable. He concludes by saying that it’s a big match that they can’t even seem to follow their movements.

Shen the said if he’s taking them off already? Goku then took off the black part of his uniform and threw it on the ground. However, this shirt made a loud thud, making Ten a little surprised. Ten bent down, asking if he could see his clothes? Goku told him he may, while Ten picked it up. However, it was a struggle to pick it up, because it was very heavy. Bulma then asked what was wrong with the shirt, while Ten struggled to keep the shirt in his hands. Ten then asked if he was really fighting with this? Goku told him he was; that it was part of the training Kami told him to do. He then took off his wristbands, which slammed hard onto the ground. Ten got surprised again, while Goku took off his boots, saying that he used to train under Kamesennin with heavy turtle shells, so it’s the same idea. Ten tried to pick up the boots, but used great strength, saying that he used boots and wristbands! Krillin then came out, telling Goku he can take his stuff. Goku said thank you, but to watch out, because it’s heavy. Ten just starred, realizing that he may be slower than Goku now. Krillin then tried to pick up the boot, but was a little hesitant, saying it weighs a lot! Goku then smiled, saying they all weight about fifty pounds each, and that his feet are practically numb!

Yamcha tried to take the shirt, while Krillin had the boots on, asking how can he move in this? Ten then calculated it up, saying it must weigh about 250 pounds! Everyone in the audience got surprised about hearing this, while Goku jumped up and down, saying he feels really light now! He then looked at Tenshinhan, telling him that he’s ready again! Ten then smiled and sweated, saying he understands, it’s because of the clothes. Ten then yelled that this was great, that the match is getting better by the minute! Ten then asked if Goku could show his true speed now. Goku said okay, which signaled Ten to rush at Goku. Goku then speed away, making Ten try to look for him, while still moving. Ten then jumped at Goku, while trying to elbow him, but Goku blocked. Ten then told him that he was sorry, but even though Goku is faster, he cannot escape his eyes! Goku then pointed at Ten’s belt that he was holding, asking what this was then? Tenshinhan’s pants then fell, revealing his boxers!
