21st Tenkaichi Budoukai Saga

After training, Goku participated in a tournament for anyone around the world. Many attacks were performed here, many in the elimination, and many by some of the strongest men in the finals. Goku even learned some attacks here.

Garu Garu Gamu - Giran - A type of gum attack, that wraps around a person, making them paralyzed and unable to attack.

Goku was wrapped and tricked by this attack. (Book Four . Chapter Thirty-Nine)

Ten Kuu Beke Ji Ken/Heavenly Air X Attack - Namu - By jumping high into the heavens, you throw your body down from the air, and crisscrossing your arms in front of your chest, and upon landing, you go on your opponents neck and paralyze him or her.

Namu had to to resort to this attack after being beaten up. (Book Four . Chapter Forty-Four.)

Goku was struck by this attack and still got up and fought! (Book Four . Page Forty Five)

Zanzouken ~ Zanzouken x2 ~ Zanzouken x3/After Image Attack - Jackie Chun/Goku - When doing this attack, you can create a clone of your body, bust as an after image, and still move around, and move to the exact spot, moving a little bit slower, creating the illusion of multiple fighters.

After Goku saw this attack, he really wanted to do it, so he did!

Jackie Chun performed this move on Goku. (Book Four . Chapter Forty-Three)

Goku performed the move back, but stronger. (Book Four . Chapter Forty-Five)

Kamehameha Kaeshi/Kamehameha Tug-o-War - Goku - Provoking Jackie Chun, Goku tells him that his Kamehameha is stronger, thus making them both fire upon each other, seeing who is stronger, which comes out in a draw.

Jackie Chun thought he was stronger, so he dared Goku in a tug-o-war of Kamehameha's.

Goku fired his Kamehameha at Jackie Chun's. (Book Four . Page Forty-Seven)

Yoiko Min Min Ken/Nighty Night Attack - Jackie Chun - Performing a hypnotizing attack and using certain hand movements, a person can make another fall asleep.

Jackie Chun did this in order to make Goku fall asleep for ten seconds.

Jackie Chun hypnotized Goku and almost won the match. (Book Five . Chapter Forty-Nine)

Ban Goku Hi Keri Shu/Bangkok Surprise Prize - Jackie Chun - After gathering enough energy in a person's hand, it appears that lightening itself is forming. After collecting enough energy, it is thrown upon another, causing intense pain.

Jackie Chun needed to do this in order to finish the fight against Goku. (Book Five . Chapter Fifty)
