Fighting

Ok, now you're probably wondering how to fight eh? Look no further, because this comprehensive guide will tell you exactly what you need to know about it.

First of all you and your opponent must stand off against each other, with the person with the highest speed going first. Your stats will change during the course of the game according to your training and trainers. They are in a percentage, with all four criteria adding up to 100. The criteria are, in case you're interested, Attack, Speed, Defense, and KI power. These will allow you to scouter your opponent and exploit their weakness, or employ your strengths.

So you've decided whose going first, now the first turn must be done. The first turn will be a roleplay style attack by your character, such as "Korosu immediately starts the action by lunging forward and throwing a wild fist towards Goku's face". You ought to give the opponent a chance to dodge, although you are allowed to occasionally make direct hits.

The person who went second will now post a reply. Obviously they can, and should be longer than my example, but it was just to show you how to play. Hopefully you'll get a good, fun fight started, and it will take all of your ingenuity to win.

The fights may take place on either a message board or, as long as both fighters have either me or an impartially referee present, an instant messenger. The message log should then be pasted onto the fighting forum for evaluation purposes in deciding your power level.

If people abuse the rules and decide to hit every time without giving the opponent the opportunity to dodge, block, or counter, then they will be kicked out. If I think someone is surviving too much, and receive a complaint from their opponent, then I will step in and write the final part of the fight myself. I hope not to have to do this though.

Well you're now fluent with the rules, so go start a fight with someone! I will be doing an example fight in the near future so you can see how to play.
