Episode 76 - Super Shenlon Brings God and Piccolo Back To Life

Polunga has appeared and he says he will grant any three wishes, delighting Krillin and Gohan. They decide their first wish will be to bring back everyone killed by the Saiya-jins. The dragon says he cannot grant that wish because he can only bring back one person at a time. Lord Kaio breaks the news to Piccolo, Yamcha, Tienshinhan, and Chaozu, which causes instant bickering over who will get wished back first. As Tienshinhan, Yamcha, and Chaozu argue, Piccolo asks to speak to Gohan. As Krillin and Gohan debate over who to bring back, Piccolo is granted permission to speak, with much objection from the others. Piccolo tells Gohan to wish him back first. When Yamcha protests, Piccolo tells him that if he is brought back then so will Kami and the Earth dragonballs. Everyone agrees that this is a great idea. Then for the second wish, Piccolo asks to be wished to Namek to fight Frieza, which ticks off Kaio-sama. Back on Namek, Dende is ordered to make the first wish. Unknown to them, Vegeta has woken up and notices something is up, especially with the sky being black. As he rushes outside the spaceship, Dende makes the wish to bring Piccolo back to life, and Piccolo's halo disappears. Vegeta sees the dragonballs are missing and a huge dragon off in the distance, and he dashes right for it. Frieza has also made out four signs of life and heads for them. While Mr. Popo waters his plants on Earth's Lookout Tower, Kami reappears!

Gohan tells Dende to make the second wish and wish Piccolo to Planet Namek, but Krillin detects Vegeta flying right for them. The dragon makes the wish and Piccolo disappears from Kaio-sama's planet. Gohan wonders where his green mentor is at, but Dende says he only wished him to the planet, not to that exact spot. He offers to wish Piccolo to that spot, but Vegeta arrives to intervene! After Vegeta threatens them all, Gohan slips up by saying there is still one wish left. Vegeta grabs Dende and demands that the third wish be used to make him immortal.

Piccolo arrives on Namek and looks over his native planet. He searches for his friend's power level, but instead picks up the enormous ki of Frieza, and it is approaching three others. He immediately flies off to help.

Vegeta still has a grip on Dende and orders his wish to be made. With Frieza approaching, Krillin tells Dende to make the wish. Vegeta throws the young Namek to the ground and anticipates his dream of ruling the universe. Dende speaks the words, but the dragon begins flashing and disintegrates. The dragonballs turn to stone and fall to the ground. Vegeta asks what happened, and Dende drops to his knees crying. The Grand Elder has passed on, and Vegeta's wish was not granted. Vegeta lunges at Krillin, but stops dead in his tracks, and a horrified look comes across his face. Frieza has arrived and he is ready to make everyone pay for ruining his plans. With Piccolo on his way and Goku still recovering, what will Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin, and Dende do?
