Chapter 7

Goku and Gohan wake up in an isolated room. It is dark, damp and dingy, with no light coming in from anywhere. The two of them struggle to their feet, and make an effort to get out. They stumble towards the door, and try and open it. It is locked. Goku steps back a few paces, then charges at it with his full strength. Incredibly though, the door doesn’t even shake a little bit. Goku falls to the floor holding his shoulder. Gohan steps forward. It’s his turn. He raises his hands above his head, and shouts “Masenko” before launching his favourite attack at the door. Instead of blowing a hole in it though, it bounces off, straight back at him, connecting with such huge force that Gohan is taken back into the wall, suffering extreme damage.

“We have to think of a way out of here. The longer we are stuck in here, the more time we are missing out on training!” panted Goku before he got to his feet. “Come on Gohan, we must give it our all, we must destroy this door. KI blasts don’t seem to work, so we’ll try something different…”

Goku and Gohan both held back their fists, ready to strike. Before they can though, someone walks through the door, into their room. The person is so big that the door is completely blocked by him. It is a male, about 7ft, with a penetrating yellow eyes, which act like moonlight in making the room brighten up. He is carrying a spear, which is made from some sort of steel, with a tip made from the skull off something, sharpened top the point that it could pierce anything.

“The boss is going to be so pleased!” said the man. “I am Gorion, the savior of the people of the planet Hagshland. I am the second strongest person in the universe, only my master is stronger than me. Now, I suppose you were wondering why the door isn’t breaking. IT is reinforced steel, which has a barrier to prevent breakage from even the strongest being. It also has a KI shield which will bounce all attacks back, as I see you have already found out little one.”

Gohan struggles to his feet, with his clothes torn, and his mouth bleeding. He is breathing heavily, then speaks. “Let us out!”

“Er…..let me think….no!” replied  Gorion. He then burst into uncontrollable laughter, pointing at Gohan. This wasn’t a good idea, as Gohan powered up unintentionally, and charged at Gorion, hitting him in the stomach, sending him through the door, and winding him badly. Goku joins in by kicking him in the face, then slamming him down to the ground with a double axehandle smash. Gorion is heavily injured, but he still grabs hold of Gohan’s ankle when he is about to go. Gohan turns round, to get a small KI blast in his face, sending him soaring through the air into his dad, who hasn’t noticed that he isn’t with him yet. Gohan collides with Goku, making them both fall to the ground. Gorion then throws an energy ball at the exit, making rubble fall, and blocking the way out. Goku stands there, and is about to shoot the rubble, when he is told by Gorion that the rubble acts the same way as the reinforced steel. This annoys him, and he turns round, ready to fight, with Gohan at his side, ready to help out in any way possible.

Gorion stands tall, laughing evilly. Goku and his son clench their fists, and prepare to launch an attack. Before they can though, there is an explosion to their left. They look to see what it is, and out walks another being, almost an exact replica of Gorion. He charges up to full power, then flies at Gohan, with his fist raised. Faster than the speed of light though is Goku, grabbing hold of the beings fist, and crushing it. He then extends his hand to the being, and blasts him in the stomach, not powerful enough to kill him, but easily enough to disable him for the fight. Goku then turns to Gorion.

“He was a weakling anyway! You will not beat me so easily!” shouted Gorion as he started to power up. The aura of energy around him grows, and makes Gohan have to shield his face. Gorion then shoots a small blast against the rubble behind Goku, hitting him in the back. He then quickly soars up to him, and nails him in the face, knocking him backwards. One KI blast later, Goku is on the floor, with blood pouring out of his mouth. He gets up though, and wipes the blood away. Gohan is in awe, totally stunned, and amazed at Gorion’s speed.

Goku cranks his neck, then powers up a little. He shouts out “Kai-o-Kan times 5!” then zoom sin at Gorion with outstanding speed. He hammers him in the face, knocking a tooth lose, then kicks him in the gut. Before he can finish Gorion off though, Gohan screams. Goku jerks round, to see what is wrong, and notices that Gohan is trembling. Goku looks on, and he sees………Freeza! The evil tyrant is back! Goku is terrified!

“How?……it can’t be! I killed you Freeza!”

“You thought you killed me Goku. I may have been close to death, but there was no way that I could die that easily. I was found floating deep into space by some of my henchmen, and they rescued me, then nursed me back to health, and now I’m back, stronger than ever!” Freeza said cockily.

“I beat you once, I’ll do it again!” yelled Goku as his dark hair turns into a golden yellow colour. Freeza shakes his finger as if to say no, then grabs Gohan.

“You can’t touch me Goku! I have your son! Now, you will stand still whilst my faithful servant examines you. Gorion, how is his gut?” Freeza chuckles after he speaks, then Gorion floats over to Goku, and delivers an excruciating punch to Goku’s gut, making him fall onto one knee. Freeza laughs as Gorion hits him again, and again in the same place. After a short while, the punishment is stopped. Goku is on one knee still. He gets to his feet, seemingly uninjured by the punishment he received. Gorion can’t believe it.

“That thick saiyan skin of yours is impressive, but I don’t think it can save you from my might! Gorion, watch the kid, and charge up a self-destruct attack in case he tries anything funny” Freeza ordered.

“But…but….but” Gorion protested, but he was given a strict look by Freeza, and that isn’t something that you ignore. Reluctantly, Gorion powers up his self-destruct attack, and puts his arms round Gohan, so he will die too.

“Thank you Gorion. Now Goku, if you so much as attempt to block, then your son will be killed” threatened Freeza. He strolls over to where Goku stands in his super saiyan form, and slams a fist into his gut. Goku falls onto one knee immediately, breathing heavily, and hurt badly.

“Goku, you seem to think that I would be stupid enough not to charge up to 100% before you came! After the pain I was dealt last time, I am going to stay in this state until you are defeated once and for all! Now is it hurting?” sneered Freeza.

“Is that…..all you got….Freeza” Goku barely managed to say. This enraged Freeza to the point that he started to attack with fist after fist into Goku’s face. He then kicks him in the gut, then delivers a kick to the face when he is bent over in pain, which sends the super saiyan into the steel wall at the other end of the corridor. Freeza laughs, a he slowly advances on Goku.  He picks him up by the scruff of his neck, and punches him across his already bloody face. More bruises gather, and more blood collects. It swerves down his face, dripping slowly onto the floor. Laughing, Freeza elbows Goku in the face, then bitch slaps him, which knocks him down to the ground.

“What’s wrong? It looks like you’re not enjoying yourself! Goku, it is almost time for us to end this, but I must have my fun first” Freeza boomed. Goku uses all his might to struggle to his feet, and wipe some blood from his face. His look of pain turns into a smile. Freeza is thoroughly puzzled.

“You……think that you’re……going to kill me with……punches and kicks! Ha! You’ll need to use your most powerful KI blast to come close to keeping me down” Goku is in agony, but still smiling. It seems like he has some sort of a plan. Freeza’s eyes widen at Goku’s insolence, then he headbutts him across the face, knocking him down once more. Goku laughs though, manipulating Freeza into picking him up by the scruff of the neck.

“What’s so funny?” Freeza demanded. Still Goku laughs.

‘Gohan’ Goku thinks, psychically transmitting his voice into his sons head. ‘Gohan, listen to me’

“Dad?” said Gohan out loud. Gorion looks at him funny, but doesn’t catch on. Gohan realizes what is going on now, so he keeps his mouth shut.

‘Gohan, I have a plan. I am going to make Freeza blast me with one of his beams, but I am going to dodge it. When I do, you need to slam Gorion in the face. Charge up your energy now, so you can get a punch with an energy ball on the end of it. If all goes according to plan, the beam will bounce back off the wall at Freeza, then at Gorion.’ Goku transmitted to Gohan.

“Yes father.” said Gohan obediently, in a very quiet voice.

Freeza gets impatient waiting for an answer, so he slams Goku’s head off the wall. Goku has one eye shut now, because of the pain he is experiencing. Freeza is enraged by Goku’s silence, so he drops him on the floor, then stamps on him as hard as he can. When he stops, the dust clears, and Goku is on the floor, beaten to a pulp. His clothes are torn, and he is bleeding all over. He is very near death. Still he laughs at Freeza though.

“What is so funny!” demanded Freeza. Merely more laughter ensues from Goku. “That’s it! I was going to keep this to myself, but I might as well tell you. I found the Namek’s hide out, and destroyed the room you were in. I was going to kill you outright, but I wanted you to experience pain! The Namek and the black guy didn’t put up much of a fight. I trampled right over them. I need to keep the Namek alive though, as it is he who shall tell the dragon to grant me my wish.”

“You think you’ve got it all figured out don’t you Freeza! Dende won’t help you! He is the guardian of the dragon balls, and a good one at that. He will never give into you! Besides, you’re too weak to kill me anyway. You have to use a KI blast, otherwise there is no way of beating me. That is….if you are capable of forming energy after the beating you receive off me, the strongest person in the galaxy!” countered Goku. Freeza’s eyes turn red with rage, and a vain appears in his forehead. He extends his finger, making Goku laugh at him. Freeza is irate now.

‘Get ready Gohan, I managed to reel him in’ Goku transmitted to his son.

Freeza lets off the energy beam, and Gohan slams his powered up fist against the side of Gorion’s head. He lets go of Gohan, and momentarily powers down. He then sees what the kid did to him, and is about to attack him, when he hears the energy blast. It soars through the air, with Goku narrowly avoiding it. It bounces off the wall, and comes straight back at Freeza, who tries to get out the way, but has part of his arm blown off. He falls to the floor in pain. The beam continues on its relentless path though, because it has not come into contact with anything full on, so it won’t explode until then. Gorion tries to dodge it, but he is no-where near as fast as the others, and has the beam go straight through him, and blows up when it is half way through. Gorion’s guts fly everywhere, with his blood pasting the walls.

Goku struggles to take a step forwards towards Freeza, who is now up on his feet, holding his wounded arm.

“How….how did the kid avoid it? How did he know it was coming? How did you avoid it? I shot it from point blank range!” interrogated Freeza, in total shock.

“Me and Gohan have a psychic link, we can transmit voices into each others minds. That is how Gohan knew what was coming. And I managed to avoid  it because you are so weak! I could destroy you in seconds, in fact, I will, but you will be destroyed for good this time!” Goku yelled, as he charged in at Freeza. He holds his arm out to block, but Goku quickly got a kick in to Freeza’s gut. He then punches his enemy in the face, and summersaults backwards. He lands awkwardly though, and can’t get back up.

“Gohan” Goku shouted. “I need you to finish Freeza off! I have been hurt too badly to get up.” Goku struggles, but can’t, and eventually gives up, and lies there, with his hair turning black once again. Freeza sees what has happened, and struggles up to his feet, turning to Gohan. A smile spreads across his face, as he limps towards the kid, stumbling occasionally on the way. Freeza is seeing double, but he solves the problem by holding out both of his hands, at the two different images of Gohan that he can see. Goku’s son is too scared to move. He stands, shaking, and whimpering.  

“Do it for me Gohan! Don’t be afraid of him. I have weakened him as much as I can. You have to save me, otherwise it is over for the whole worl….” Before Goku could finish though, Freeza zooms over to him, and stamps on his chest, knocking all the wind out of him. A great load of spit flies into the air, as Goku lies there, breathing very heavily, unable to get a word out of his mouth.

“Sorry, you were boring me” laughed Freeza. Big mistake. Gohan charges up, making the walls dent. Freeza turns round to see him, and backs off, noticing Gohan’s incredible power increase.

“How….how did you do that?” Questioned Freeza. “How did your power increase so much?!”

Gohan charges at Freeza and nails him in the face. He then starts to pile on the punches in Freeza’s gut, finishing up with a huge kick to his face. Freeza falls back, in disbelief at the little kids power. Then Gohan holds his hands up above his head, and shouts out the word “Masenko!” launching his favourite attack at Freeza, causing an epic explosion which fills up all the corridor. Gohan covers himself with his hands, then looks up. Smoke fills the whole place, but one thing echoes round it. The evil laugh of Freeza. He steps forward, covered in his own blood, and covered in bumps, bruises and scratches.

“I must admit kid, you have become far more powerful since the last time I fought you, but you’re still nothing compared to me” laughed Freeza. Gohan backs off, shaking as Freeza slowly advances on him, clearly hurt very badly. Goku looks up, and grabs one of Freeza’s ankles, stopping him in his tracks.

“Gohan” Goku struggled to say as Freeza stamps on his hands, causing him intense pain. “You have to destroy Freeza now! Quickly, I can’t hold him much longer!”

“I can’t dad! He’s too strong!” Gohan replied!

“Believe in yourself son, you can do it” encouraged Goku.

“I don’t know dad…..he’s….strong, too strong….” replied Gohan.

“Do it!” shouted Goku at Gohan. The kid is scared by his dads anger, and starts to charge up another Masenko. It grows in size, doubling, then tripling. It is the size of Gohan now. He struggles to hold it, but manages to balance it, then launch it on the destroyer of the planet Namek. Freeza can’t get free of Goku’s grasp, but manages to get his arms up, blocking the attack. Goku is screaming in pain as Freeza goes from his grip because of the force of Gohan’s attack. Freeza is getting pushed into the wall, so much so in fact, that it is starting to give way. Freeza is screaming loudly, as the wall starts to give way. He bursts through it, flying across the landscape. Gohan quickly goes over to his dad, and shields him, as a massive blast ensues when Freeza can block the attack no longer.

“Daddy!” Gohan said leaning over Goku. “Daddy!” he repeated. “Talk to me!”

“G…G….Gohan? You did it son….well done…help me up will you….” Goku replied. Gohan uses up all his energy to pick Goku up and float into the air. He takes him to the gap in the wall, and flies through it with his dad on his back. Gohan stops dead in his tracks after he gets out of the building though. He floats down to the ground, and drops Goku. standing in front of them is Freeza, pissed off to the max, covered in cuts. He is almost red and purple because of his injuries suffered after that Masenko. He charges up to an incredible strength, knocking all trees within a mile radius flying. Gohan is petrified. He realizes that Freeza is more powerful than he has ever been at this point. Gohan bows his head, knowing that resistance will be pointless.

“Don’t give up Gohan!” Goku told his son. Encouraged by the comment, Gohan gets ready to take on Freeza.

In the graviton room on the ship, Vegeta is now training at 300 times the Earth’s gravity. He is trying to outrun one of his blasts whilst lifting weights. He senses a power surge, then ducks onto the floor. His blast goes over him, and continues its route round the room. Vegeta closes his fist, and the energy disappears. He gets up, and walks out of the room, to the outside. He looks around, trying to sense where the power came from. He gets the signal, and takes a step back.

“No way! What power! That is more than Kula’s! I have to investigate it! No matter how strong it is, it is no where near my power!” Vegeta said to himself as he took off, over to the battle.

Can Vegeta get there in time? Will Gohan be able to hang on for long enough? Will Goku lend a hand? All will be revealed.
