Dragonball Z Episode 186: Gohan Staggers
Cell With 2 Punches
(original, Japanese episode)
As Cell and Gohan engage in a stare down, Trunks gives the
fallen Z warriors some Senzu beans. He reveals that he has never seen
Gohan like this before. He tells Krillin, Yamcha, and Tienshinhan to
move to a safer location as he gives Goku and Piccolo a bean. Cell
attacks Gohan but is too slow to hit Gohan. Gohan then fights back,
surprising Vegeta. Piccolo understands why Goku fought Cell first, to
show Gohan how the tyrant moved and fought. Cell fires and energy
blast but Gohan swats it away. The news reporter continues to
commentate the fight but doesn’t realize he isn’t holding a
microphone. Gohan and Cell begin throwing punches, connecting fist to
fist. Gohan lands next to the professional wrestlers cowering behind
some rocks. Cell continues his attack and almost kills the people, but
Gohan is able to fly them to safety. A stalemate is reached between
the two as Vegeta realizes there is yet another Saiya-jin stronger
than him, first Goku and now Gohan. Disappointed in himself, he eats
the Senzu bean given to him by Trunks. Cell begins another assault,
but Gohan easily dodges every attack. Cell throws a desperation punch,
but only connects with a mountain as Gohan stands poised. Angered,
Cell powers up and blows up the mountain.
He stands face to face with Gohan and
tells the boy he cannot be beaten. Gohan says he can and will defeat
Cell. In response, Cell decides to power up to 100%, frightening the Z
warriors. The people around the world can feel the earth shake as Cell
powers up. Gohan is unimpressed. He lets Cell punch him in the jaw,
and it has no effect whatsoever. Cell tries again, but Gohan lands a
blow to Cell’s sternum, causing the monster to double over in pain.
Cell tries another punch but is hit by an uppercut that knocks him on
his butt (and makes him vomit blood). Everyone, including Cell, is in
complete shock. Gohan is far more powerful than his opponent, and this
is only the beginning of the fight.
