Script: Dragonball Z Episode 143: Krillen's Decision

In this section are a bunch of scripts from DBZ episodes. These were written by Seexy, and it took a very long time to do, so don't steal them! Anyway, they should provide some good entertainment, and are all exactly the same as the dub, unless stated otherwise.

[The episode starts off with Krillen floating in the air, looking for #18 with a device that will shut her down in his hand]

Krillen: Man, Cell's just dying to find 18. Somehow, I've got to find her first, and use this on here. Once she's immobilized, I'll blast her. Oh man, what a job! Surely she's not still on this island. She might be though, girls are funny. Boy oh boy, Cell doesn't sound like he's having a very good time down there!

[The camera pans down to Cell, who is roaring loudly after getting beat up, far below Krillen]

Cell: This can't be!

Krillen: Way to go. Man, I wouldn't want to be Vegeta right now. Whoa, scary.

Cell: Why? If only I could complete my evolution. Someone like Vegeta would be nothing! Fool! He thinks he knows power...

Vegeta: I couldn't help but overhear your annoying babble. Yes, funny, but I thought I heard you say that I'm a  fool who doesn't know what real power is?

Cell: That's right, you have no idea! Your power is substantial, I'll admit that, but if I absorbed #18, you'd quickly discover that you have serious limitations, and then you would be a nobody...

[Vegeta kicks Cell and sends him flying]

Cell: No, I refuse to believe that this is my fate! I'm Cell, this isn't supposed to be happening to me! NOOOOO!

[Vegeta hits Cell again. The camera then switches to the androids, who are hiding]

#18: My God, was Vegeta just pretending to be weak when he fought me?

#16: No, he is not the type that would hold back. You were stronger than, but now he is the strongest.

#18: But how could he gain that much strength in such a short amount of time?

[Krillen appears, and he sees the androids on the island and is terrified that they're still there]

#18: 16, it just doesn't compute. There's no way.

Krillen: She's here, I don't believe it. Oh my gosh!

[He drops the shutdown device that he's going to use on #18, but quickly flies down and catches it]

Krillen: Gotcha! Man, don't they have brains? I mean, Cell's right over there! (Oh great, now I have to use this thing. Everything I've learned on the battlefield tells me that I have to do this, but it just doesn't feel right!)

[Krillen has a quick flashback where Bulma is talking to him]

Bulma: Remember Krillen, you have to be within 10 feet for that things to work

[The flashback ends, and Krillen goes down to the surface, ready to creep up on 18]

Krillen: (Bulma, why do you have to be so smart?) Oh why me? Alright, here goes...

[The scene shifts to Vegeta vs. Cell, where Cell is getting beat up]

Cell: Where are you 18? I need you!

Vegeta: Talking to yourself?

Cell: Er...Vegeta, listen...

[Vegeta blasts Cell, scene then goes to Krillen again]

Krillen: (Alright, just take this one step at a time Krillen, you can do this. Everyone is counting on you! It's up to you now...)

[Scene temporarily goes back to Vegeta and Cell, where the Saiyan isn't even trying and still winning easily. It then goes back to Krillen]

Krillen: (Oh my goodness, they're still there! I just have to get a little closer for the remote to work! Oh wow, just look at her, she's so...beautiful...What are you doing? You know better than to think like that at a time like this! Come on Krillen! Man, what's wrong with me?)

[Back to Vegeta and Cell]

Vegeta: This is ridiculous! Your power is laughable! Fighting you in this state is just a waste of my time! Do you honestly believe that you could challenge my powers if I allowed you to absorb that other android?

Cell: Yes, it would be the ultimate challenge. Are you up to it?

Vegeta: Well...let's just say I'm thinking about it. Sounds...interesting.

Trunks: No father...you can't.

[Scene switches to the androids]

#16: You must hide.

#18: I am hiding, with you.

#16: You must leave. Vegeta might let Cell go. Yes, for the sport of fighting him after he absorbs you.

[Over to Vegeta and Cell once more]

Cell: You're like a kid with a new bicycle but doesn't have a place to ride it. Your power is like a toy, but you don't have anywhere to test it. Well I understand your dilemma. I know your Saiyan blood is boiling for a challenge. Allow me to absorb the android, this may be the only opportunity that you truly get to test your power! I can promise you, you will not be disappointed! Say the word and it's done. It shouldn't take too long. I'll absorb her, and we can take up where we left off.

[Back to Krillen and the Androids]

Krillen: (Ok, almost there, just a little bit closer and this thing should work. Ok...go! Alright, that ought to do it, I'm in range, this is it. Wait a sec...I'd better think this over a bit first. This thing is going to immobilize her, but I have to do the rest. If I don't destroy her, she could be absorbed by Cell. She wouldn't even be able to defend herself. I can't let that happen. I'm going to have to charge over there, and blast her when I press this button. The big guys not going to like it, but it looks like he's pretty banged up. Why can't I stop thinking about that kiss? Come on Krillen, snap out of it! She's an android for goodness sake, she's not even a real person! On the other hand, she's standing right over there, and she looks scared too, she has to be real! She's so beautiful...There I go again! I can't stop thinking about her! Could I be in love with an android? No! That's impossible...isn't it? Can a man fall in love with an android? It doesn't matter anyway! Everyone's counting on you! You have to push the button Krillen! I can't! You have to! I can't! You...have to! I can't!)

[The scene switches to Gohan and Goku, who are in the room of spirit and time having a nice hot, steaming bath]

Goku: Woo, pretty toasty huh?

Gohan: Yeah, it feels like one of moms baths. Are you worried dad? About Krillen and the others? I fell kind of guilty taking this bath when we could be out there training

Goku: I know son, but sometimes rest is just as important as training, maybe even more important.

Gohan: It is?

Goku: Sure it is. If we give our muscles a chance to rest and build back up, we could get a lot more out of them than if we kept training all the time.

Gohan: So if we rest, we can train harder?

Goku: Exactly Gohan, now you've got it! So no more wasting energy on feeling guilty. Deal?

Gohan: Deal. But you have to promise not to give me any special treatment just because I'm your son, ok?

Goku: Ok.

[The two begin splashing each other with water, laughing all the time]

Gohan: Hey, no fair! Alright dad, you asked for it! Give it up dad, you're mine!

Goku: No way! Here comes the Super Saiyan splash attack! 

Gohan: No! I give up! I give up!

[Scene switches back to Krillen and the androids]

Krillen: (Come on Krillen, you might not get another chance like this. Don't blow it!)

#16: Please 18, you must go.

Krillen: (You can't let your personal feelings cloud your judgement! Oh no, that was cloudy, that was very cloudy! Come on Krillen, get rid of all those clouds, very poor visibility. Don't let your feelings cloud your judgement! What am I saying? I can't do this.)

[Starts having flashbacks of #18, with them constantly flashing in his mind]

Krillen: (I can't let her go...the others, they're all counting on me! I can't let them down! Krillen, hold on, you can do it, she's just an android! I can't do it...I lover her.)

[He drops the remote onto the floor, and the androids hear it and turn to see him]

#18: It's...you. Oh no! That's an emergency suspension controller! How'd that little guy get hold of one of those?

[Over to Cell and Vegeta once again]

Cell: Your thirst for the ultimate challenge may very well lead you to your doom, but you will seek it anyway, won't you super Saiyan?

Vegeta: I have ascended beyond the level of super Saiyan.

Cell: Fascinating. Yes, this will be a rare match indeed...

Vegeta: If you don't run away.

Cell: Now you're dreaming.

Vegeta: So be it, you've managed to arouse my curiosity. Now go, absorb your android.

Trunks: Oh no!

Vegeta: Hopefully next time I see you, you won't be in such a pitiful state. It's embarrassing.

Trunks: Please, no, father! That's your weak point! Can't you see that Cell's exploiting your only weakness?

Vegeta: Shut up fool! Mind your own business. I don't remember asking for your opinion on the matter. How can you understand my power? I've gone beyond the super Saiyan.

[Vegeta turns to Cell]

Vegeta: Now go, get out of here before I change my mind!

Cell: As you wish.

Vegeta: This better be worth it Cell.

[Trunks appears in front of Cell, blocking his way]

Trunks: If my dad wont stop you, then I'll do it myself!

[Scene goes over to Krillen]

Krillen: Nice day huh? I came here to kill you. Yeah, I guess you recognise this device?

#18: Yeah, I do.

[Krillen smashes remote]

Krillen: You shouldn't be here. Look, if Cell finds you, then we're all doomed. Please go. You can sneak off to the other side of the island. Just fly low.

#18: Why are you doing this? You're taking a great risk by letting me go. I don't understand.

Krillen: It's because I...I...

[Scene goes over to Cell and Trunks]

Cell: Move along kid, I don't have the patience to deal with you right now you young punk.

Trunks: You'll need a lot more than patience to deal with me. You heard my father - I'm as strong as he is.

Cell: We'll have to see about that.

[Trunks roughs Cell up]

Cell: You scoundrel.

[Cell tries to fly off, but Trunks blocks him]

Trunks: Sorry, but you're not going anywhere, unless you go through me Cell.

Vegeta: Darn kid, just like his father.

Trunks: I know you tricked my dad. You know his weakness because some of his cells are in you. Well you're not going to talk your way through this roadblock Cell. It ends here.

Cell: Curse you. Hey Vegeta look! I thought we had an agreement! Ah, it can't be...(Android 18, she's here. Ah, this is to good to be true)

Trunks: Huh? Oh no! Android 18! She's here!

[Episode ends]

Narrator: Unaware that she has been discovered by Cell, android 18 stands transfixed in front of Krillen, each one of them wondering who will draw first in this emotional showdown. But the real danger lies above, looking ominously with the darkest of intentions, and the blackest of desires.

Goku: On our next episode, Trunks has his hands full trying to keep Cell from absorbing android 18. Vegeta is the one who holds the keys, but it doesn't look like Trunks is going to get any help from him. So much for teamwork. I don't know about Vegeta sometimes, but we're working on him. Uh oh, troubles brewing, on the next episode of Dragonball Z!
