The plane still went on, but there was some shock in the ship, as Trunks examined the picture of his time machine, saying it's no mistake, that it's the time machine he rode in, but what is this!? Yamcha, Chi Chi, and Gohan pondered on, as Krillin asked Bulma if she knew where this was taken? Bulma told them that she's not exactly sure, but it's around the western region in the 105th district, but are they going there? Trunks told her yes, that he wants to see it with his own eyes! Bulma told him that she'll go too, just to see. Trunks said okay, making Bulma say see ya there! Yamcha suspiciously looked at Yamcha, asking if he really knew there was only one of those time machines? Trunks told him that he's sure of it, making Gohan say he would like to go also. Trunks told him that that it would be okay for him to go, but Chi Chi stood up to intervene, making Gohan say it's okay, that he won't go anywhere dangerous! Trunks then opened the ship's hull and Trunks and Gohan flew out. Bulma, at Capsule Corp., told her mother that she needs to go take care of Trunks, making Bulma's mom ask where she's going? Bulma told her mom that she's going to meet the BIG Trunks! Bulma's mom then opened her eye's widely, wondering what that meant. Bulma raced off, as Gohan and Trunks tried to cut her off, but in the air, Gohan tried to make conversation. Gohan asked if the future was really horrible, about the androids? Trunks told him that that was true, that the population dropped thousands of people, that most of the western capital is wiped out, but they do have an underground base. Gohan tried to help out, only saying he can hope they can find a weakness.

Trunks explained that Dr. Gero saw failure in the androids rebelling, but in the end he was forced to use them, and he was killed. He knew how dangerous they were when he tested them, which means he had a way of destroying them at a testing stage, making Gohan say he sees. Gohan told him that he may be right, but Trunks told Gohan that it was slim. Trunks then looked at his watch, saying that the pod should be around here, making Gohan say let's search. Across the land, Gohan searched alone, until finally calling out for Trunks that he's found it! Trunks landed right after Gohan, making Trunks say thanks to Gohan. Gohan looked around, as Gohan said that that must be Bulma. Gohan told Trunks that he'll lead her here. After a while, Bulma landed, making Bulma yell out that Trunks's beautiful mother is here! Trunks pointed, saying it's the time machine he was in, pulling out his, making Bulma say it can't be his then. Trunks told her that it has to be the same, that someone must have taken it from the future. Bulma wondered why, as Trunks robbed off some moss, exposing the word HOPE! on the side, making Trunks say that she wrote this here before he left. Bulma said that's right, but what does it mean, that it's been out here for so long. Trunks and Gohan looked inside, as Gohan explained that it seems like something burned it from the inside to get out. Trunks stared in more, as Bulma asked what in the world came in that? Trunks told Gohan he wants to open it, making the hatch open. Trunks stepped in, looking down and seeing a bowl-shaped object with spikes around it. He notices two of them, making Gohan ask what is it, if it's a coconut shell?

Bulma asked for her to see, looking at both and seeing that they go together, that it's an egg shell. Gohan asked if she said egg, that he has never seen an egg like that. Trunks got worried, looking through the hole, as well as Gohan. Gohan told that whatever went through that hole, must have come from the egg, but what? Gohan and Trunks wondered, as Trunks examined the controls, saying the energy is close to zero, but came from, age 788, three years later than when he came, making Bulma confused. He told that it arrived four years ago though, coming back a full year before he did, but why in the world why? Trunks told himself that it's probably the reason why the future has changed so much then! At Kami's, Kami looked suspiciously on, as Piccolo meditated off to the side. Piccolo finally asked if he was still staring at the lower world, but that's not a good habit. Piccolo smiled as he told that after they join, he'll lose that ability, so enjoy it now. Kami told himself that this upsetting for four years wasn't from the androids, but even he didn't know a time machine came back from then. Piccolo asked what, making Kami explain that there is a form stronger than the androids. Piccolo stepped up, asking what was he talking about!? Kami told Piccolo that the time for him to give up being Kami and rejoining is now, but as of now, there is something horrible going on in the world! Kami told that this is a danger that cannot be defeated, that will destroy everything!
