Summary:

The Ninja Split
Goku and Purple are still running now, making Goku yell out to stop. Purple does so and throws a smoke bomb. Goku hacks and coughs, trying to figure out where Purple is. After the smoke clears, he sees Purple walking across the lake, with flat shoes. Purple yells that he can't get him now, seeing that he is gliding with great speed. Goku yells back that he if he just needs to get across, then it's no problem. Purple allows him to swim, as long as he watches out for the piranhas. Purple sticks out his tongue at Goku, but Goku says to himself that he wasn't going to swim, but... Goku then leaps over the lake, reappearing in front of Purple. Goku smiles, saying that he did it. Purple starts to cower in fear, while Goku asks if he's going to fight now? Purple asks how he would think of a ninja admitting defeat to him would make him feel? He then whistles loudly to himself, making Goku ask what is he doing? Purple smiles evilly, snarling that he is going to perform a fabulous move. Purple puts his right index finger up, yelling out the Legendary Ninja Split! Goku starts to get worried, as he sees five Purple's in front of him now! They all circle around Goku, asking Goku which one is real? Goku says that they all look really real, while one Purple pulls out mini-shuriken, throwing them at Goku. Goku barely dodges it, but also has to dodge the sword that is coming in front of him.

Goku says that that was close, so he must be the real one. Goku is about to attack him, but gun shots are aimed at him, making Goku have to block those too. Goku asks how can this be, since he thought the other was real. Purple then screams that that's just that, since they are all real! Goku gets confused, but then is bombarded with Purple after Purple, yelling out that they are the Purple Quintuplets! He has no chance against one, let alone five. Goku says that he had a chance against one, but will defeat all five of them too. The Purple's run to Goku, making Goku work at his max. One swipes a sword to Goku, but Goku does the Zanzouken, while another throws shuriken. They both get confused, but Goku clears it up, saying he's behind them. Goku then hits his pole on one's neck and propels himself to another, snapping his neck too. Goku looks behind him, seeing the horrified expressions on the Purple's faces. One Purple screams out that he has really mastered the after-image, while Goku has knocked out the other two Purple's. The real Purple creeps backwards, staring at Goku's strength. Goku tells him that it's one-on-one now. Purple runs away, back out to the layers of Muscle Tower. Goku runs right after him, while Purple runs up the stairs, to a cage. Purple yells that enough is enough and will bring his secret weapon out! Goku stops suddenly, wondering what it is, seeing a Frankenstein-like monster on one knee in it.
