Dragonball Z Episode 203: Gohan, You Must Move Quick! Save Videl!

Gohan leaves home and heads for school and is greeted in the air by his brother, Goten, who is flying aboard Kinto Cloud. Goten wishes his brother a good day and Gohan continues on his path. When Gohan flies over Satan City (as the Great Saiyaman), Videl, aboard her helicopter, spots him. She begins to chase the Great Saiyaman all over Satan City, determined to find out his true identity. Gohan stops all the sudden in Videl’s path, causing her to spin out of the way. While she tries to recover her copter, Gohan takes shelter in the park. Just when he thinks he’s gotten away, Videl’s copter lands in front of him and her questioning begins. She asks who he is and his response is the Great Saiyaman. She tells him to stop fooling around and wants to know his true identity. Gohan just picks up her helicopter and places it on top of a building so he can avoid further questioning and head to school.

Videl arrives late to class, but the teacher doesn’t mind due to Videl’s busy schedule. She takes her seat and finds out from Sharpner that Gohan was late as well. Gohan says he slept in late. Now Videl is very suspicious of the new student. A news broadcast is played talking about the new hero of Satan City, the Great Saiyaman, and his actions saving the train station. Mr. Satan just chuckles about a new hero because no one compares to himself. Outside the school, a high-speed chase is in progress and the cop car wrecks. Gohan, as himself, confronts the criminals in the car. One of them grabs Gohan and tries to punch him, but Gohan easily dodges the attack. He was about to fight back when he notices Videl is watching and takes a punch to the face, knocking him to the ground. Videl jumps into the fight and kicks the man in the face. The other guy grabs his fallen friend and drives away. Videl asks if Gohan is okay, and he responds “of course.” Videl is curious how the boy is fine after absorbing such a punch only to hear from Gohan that the guy wasn’t that strong. Videl confesses that she thought Gohan was the Great Saiyaman and could take care of himself, but obviously he is not and apologizes for not helping sooner. The criminals are discussing what just went down. They realize that they were no match for Videl, but the guy that punched Gohan thinks he broke his hand on the boy’s face.

A few days later in class, Videl receives a page that the mayor has been taken hostage. It’s the same guys from the fight. Their leader, Rock (who resembles Nappa from the Saiya-jin saga), asks for Mr. Satan to arrive and fight him. The police try to get a hold of Mr. Satan, but he says he is going to sit this one out. Videl leaves class while Gohan tries to as well, saying he has to use the restroom, but the teacher refuses to let him leave. Videl arrives at the mayor’s and confronts Rock. She challenges Rock, and if he can beat her, he gets a shot at Mr. Satan. Videl tries to kick Rock, but he blocks it. Gohan can’t stop fidgeting in his seat and starts tapping his foot. All of the sudden, the school starts shaking, and the teacher thinks it is an earthquake, although its just Gohan tapping his foot. Gohan finally leaves class and rushes to the scene as Great Saiyaman. The fight between Rock and Videl intensifies, but one of Rock’s goons fires a machine gun at her, distracting her while Rock throws a punch. The Great Saiyaman arrives and bends the guy’s gun. Videl tells the Great Saiyaman to stay out of it, so Rock tells his men to kill the Great Saiyaman. He easily takes care of the men and unties the mayor. Rock has Videl in a chokehold, scaring Gohan, but she elbows Rock in the sternum and kicks him in the back of the head to finish him off. She thanks the Great Saiyaman for his help, but says she wants to know his true identity more than ever. He welcomes the challenge. Back at school, Eliza tells Videl about Gohan trying to leave class. The earthquake, Gohan’s disappearance, and how he returned just before Videl. Now Videl is almost certain Gohan is the new superhero and was about to confront him when Gohan disappears again, hiding behind a dumpster. It’s only a matter of time before Videl learns the true identity of the Great Saiyaman.
