Summary:

Enter Kami Sama
At the Palace, Mr. Po Po explained to Goku that he lacked great skill and and would never see Kami Sama with the value he has. Goku could on stand in fear, saying that this isn't happening, for such a strong fighter. Mr. Po Po explained that has less power and against the power of Mr. Po Po, he won't win. Goku then looked down, saying he may be right. Mr. Po Po told him that he is right, making Goku say he has to fight though! He explains that he needs to help his friends, so he asks for one last chance. Mr. Po Po tells him he may, so Goku wants to do a crash course! Mr. Po Po doesn't understand, but allows him to go anyway. Goku says thank you and runs off, making Mr. Po Po say he has a good personality. Goku begins to run around the entire palace, saying that he can easily do this! After a while, Goku pants uncontrollably, saying that he is very, very tired. Mr. Po Po explains to him that he has less air up here, so it would be harder to breathe. Plus, he does too much excess movement. Goku says he understands, but Mr. Po Po explains once more he should be calm like the wind, but faster than lightning! Goku looks up, saying to be calm like wind, then he elbows the air, saying to be fast as lightning! Goku then says he doesn't know what he means! Mr. Po Po tells him to just make his mind completely clear.

He stares at Goku, making Goku say he feels no spirit within him, so he makes his eyes like Mr. Po Po, asking if this how you do it? Mr. Po Po sweats a bit, telling him that's not right, making Goku ask how do you make your mind clear? Mr. Po Po explains to just move as fast as lightning, and with that, disappears and reappears right behind Goku! Goku then screams out, saying he couldn't even see that! Mr. Po Po then says he is fast, as well as he barely punched him with his right arm. Goku then got very surprised, asking how could he do that!? He couldn't even see it! Mr. Po Po explains that he uses his eyes too much, but he needs to feel out the opponent. If he does that, he can be as calm as the wind, then strike as fast as lightning! Goku says he is defiantly impressed, how he knows this. Mr. Po Po then says that's not all, but Kami Sama is stronger than him! Goku repeats that, asking if it's really true, making Mr. Po Po say that Kami Sama is way stronger than him. Goku's mouth stays wide open, saying that's really cool!  Mr. Po Po asks if he's anxious, making Goku say he's very anxious, because he wants to be as strong as him now! Mr. Po Po laughs a bit, saying that's he is very care free. Goku then asks why didn't he just go down and fight Piccolo himself, making Mr. Po Po say Kami has his reasons.

Mr. Po Po then told Goku to go back down and train, that maybe in a couple years he can fight again. Goku tells him he'll do that now, when a voice says to not do that. Goku looks over, asking if it's Kami Sama, making Mr. Po Po say yes. Kami Sama then says he wants to meet him now, making Goku ask if he's serious!? Goku yells he did it, while Mr. Po Po calls him lucky. Mr. Po Po then tells Goku to come this way, making Goku walk along happily He then instructs Goku to wait in front of a doorway, while Goku says that he's nervous. A shadow then appears in the doorway, making Goku smile even more. Then, an old man with pointy ears, two antenna, and a mirror image of a pure evil villain, with a cloak that says Kami on it appears. Goku screams out that it's Piccolo! Goku then rushes him, asking how did he come back to life!? Mr. Po Po gasps, asking him to stop. Goku's punch gets closer and closer, until Kami swats Goku away with ease. Mr. Po Po catches him, saying it's not Piccolo, but Kami. Goku looks a little harder, seeing Kami tell him that Karin must have no explained very much of what happened. He explains that this happened a long time ago, when there was only one Piccolo, who was a genius fighter. Well, he found out that the former Kami was holding a place for a new Kami, so he joined to try.

Eventually, the former Kami saw that he was the perfect successor, so he took him under his wing for training. However, the former Kami told him that he felt a great evil was growing inside of him, so he had to expel it. Once he did so, there was an evil Piccolo and a good Piccolo. The evil Piccolo renamed himself Piccolo Daimaou and brought chaos to the world. Eventually over time, Piccolo was brought under control and put in a Denshi Jar. Prior to that, he had become Kami and saw the destruction. Now that Piccolo has been killed, he wants to train Goku. Goku asked if he was serious and would love to do it! Kami then explained he knows that he wants everyone to be revived from Piccolo's grasp, but Shen Long is dead. So, they will revive him and bring everyone back to life. Goku screamed out that this is really awesome, but Kami explained he wasn't going to revive the dragon at first, but this time he will make an exception. He learned that there are people like Goku, those who help out others, which is why he made the Dragon Balls. But people abused the power and wanted them for evil wishes. But thanks to Goku, he will revive Shen Long and make the Dragon Balls come back! Goku then smiled happily, telling him alright!
