Summary:
The Climax Approaches
The announcer holds Jackie Chun's hand up high, telling everyone that this
is the new Tenkaichi Budoukai champion! Everyone claps for Jackie, as the
announcer hands the 500,000 zeni to him, while Jackie expresses his
thankfulness. Jackie walks back, thanking himself that it's finally over. The
announcer gives his final farewell to everyone, telling everyone to have a safe
ride home and come back in the next three years! Krillin gives his
congratulations to Jackie, as well as Goku. Jackie does the same, waving
good-bye to them. Krillin asks Goku if he hopes that Muton Roshi was watching
them fight, while Goku tells him that they should go find them. But, Goku slowly
comes out, telling Krillin that he is really hungry. Jackie Chun is now in the
bushes, trying to pull his hair off, transforming into Kamesennin. He takes off
his fighting clothes and puts on his normal ones, and then puts on his glasses.
While doing so, he feels happy for his pupils going so far, knowing that they
can do better.
Goku and his friends wait out in the stadium, hoping Muton Roshi comes by soon.
All of sudden, almost when they gave up hope, Kamesennin walks out, telling them
that he watched in the far back and was just in the restroom. Krillin asks if he
really did see them fight, allowing Kamesennin to let them know that he did and
he was very proud of their great efforts. Krillin tells him that Goku would have
probably won if he wasn't so hungry. Goku tells him that the old guy was really
strong, and would have probably lost anyway if he was full. Kamesennin agrees
with him, saying that there are much stronger fighters out there and they should
always be training. Their true training, is only just beginning.
Goku and Krillin nod do to this, when Kamesennin asks who is hungry? Goku tells
him that he is, very loudly, with drool coming out of his mouth. Kamesennin asks
the rest of the group if they want to come too, making them say of course.
However, Bulma feels as though she would have to let him see her panties or
something in return. At the restaurant, Goku is chowing down all the food he
wants, always eating. Oolong wonders how much he can eat, when Kamesennin asks
the waiter if he could bring some more? Later, at night, Goku breathes out
heavily, feeling totally recharged. Bulma says that Goku ate for almost thirty
people just now, while Yamcha thinks that it's fifty. Goku then asks if he can
have seconds, making everyone fall out of their seat. Kamesennin pulls himself
back up, saying he thought he was done being a monster. The waiter apologizes to
Goku, telling him that they're out of that food, and in fact, out of everything.
Goku smiles and tells him it's okay, telling him that he likes to eat in
moderation anyway. This causes everyone to fall out of their seat once again.
For the bill, it cost 470,000 zeni, making Kamesennin from a prince to a pauper.
Kamesennin, while walking out, starts to cry over his loss of money. While
driving home, Yamcha asks if the two will train again when they get back?
Krillin says yes, but Kamesennin tells them that he is done teaching them. He
wants them to discipline themselves and make them train on their own. Goku is
happy to hear this, so he can now go look for his grandpa's Dragon Ball! Bulma
asks if he really is planning to look again, while Goku nods. Krillin asks what
they're talking about, allowing Goku to say it's the only thing his grandpa left
him. Plus, he can get in more fights this way too! Oolong volunteers to stay out
of it, because he doesn't want to get hurt anymore. Kamesennin asks Krillin what
he will do, making Krillin say he doesn't know what to do, but he would like to
stay with Kamesennin for a while. Kamesennin is glad to hear, but secretly,
inside of him, he really wanted to be alone with Lunch. Yamcha kindly asks in
return for the dinner, he will take them all home. Kamesennin gladly accepts,
while Bulma looks for an airplane capsule.
When they park and are outside, Goku asks Kamesennin if his stuff is in the
suitcase? Kamesennin tells him it is, so Goku tells them all he doesn't need a
ride, and will go off on Kintoun. Krillin asks if he really is leaving already,
going on this Dragon Ball search? Goku tells him that the sooner he starts, the
sooner he's done. Kamesennin tells him that he's so impatient, but Goku ignores
the remark and calls out for Kintoun. The cloud comes down and Goku hops on.
Kamesennin tells him good luck, with Goku giving a nice thanks. Krillin asks
Oolong if this whatchamacallit search is tough? Oolong gives a long yes, so
Krillin asks if Goku if he wants him to come too? Goku tells him that he can't
ride it, making Krillin feel bad for the truth. Bulma asks before Goku goes, if
he knows how to use the Dragon Radar, making Goku say he does. Goku then puts
his fist in the air, telling everyone that he will see them all later and flies
off. Everyone waves good-bye, while Yamcha asks if he can really find them all?
Kamesennin tells him that if anyone can, it should be him. Goku happily flies
onward, seeing happy days ahead of him. Meanwhile, Yamcha tells Bulma that it
should be obvious she would lose the plane capsule, making her yell out that
it's okay when you look as good as her! Also, they just ran out of gas. Tough
luck.
