A small,
rounded pod comes soaring towards the Planet Saiya, turning into a raging
ball of flames as it breaks into the atmosphere. It docks down in an
isolated clearing, with huge impact. A crater about the size of an Oozaru is
made. After a short pause, there is movement from the pod. The door swings
open, and a light green hand appears on the side. It thrusts the attachment
of its body up, and then finishes climbing out of the pod with a small leap.
The passenger looks around, breathing in the dirty air from the surface of
the industrial side of the planet. The man is none other than Zarbon. He
walks slowly out of the crater as 5 pods crash down behind him. He doesn’t
even hesitate to look round, and sees that they are on his team.
‘Damn,
I’m jumpy today! Gotta calm myself down!’ Zarbon thought to himself as
he finished getting out of the crater that his crash landing had made. He
bends over, and kneels down. He runs his smooth skin through the dusty
ground, and his investigation achieves only a clump of eroded dirt. He sighs
to himself as he gets to his feet, and casually wonders towards the Ginyu
Force.
The
Ginyu Forces pods are unlike any that Zarbon had ever seen. They had streaks
of blue down the side, and had the ever-prominent logo engraved onto the
side. Each one seemed to be tailor-made for each member, with decorations of
all sorts on. Almost systematically, each one of the pod doors swing open.
One-by-one, the Force get out, and line up. Zarbon knows what’s coming,
and gives off a grievous sigh.
‘Everytime
they go anywhere, these idiots have to do all that posing. Why can’t they
just get along with the missions!’ Zarbon contemplated. ‘Must be because
of some sort of mental deficiency’ he confirmed to himself.
The
elite soldiers of the Ginyu Force started to dance around in that annoying
pose that they were guaranteed to do wherever they were. After a tedious
performance, Ginyu proudly leads the troops towards Zarbon. With an arrogant
grin on his face, Ginyu does a mocking bow. Zarbon is not impressed, and
kicks the captain in the face, with utmost hatred. Ginyu staggers back, but
knows not to fight back, as it would be worthless. Zarbon is very close to
Frieza, and if they were to agitate him, then they could be in big trouble
with the head honcho.
Zarbon
turns, flicking his braid of hair into the air, then walks off, with each
stride more ignorant than the last. He has beads of sweat dripping down his
face, and his fists are clenched hard.
‘These
Ginyu idiots will under estimate those blasted saiyan’ Zarbon interpreted.
‘They will be destroyed! Ah well, that’s good for me, at least I won’t
have to go on any more missions with them’ The changeling smirked at the
prospect of finally ridding himself of these posing goofs.
They all
set off towards their destination - the saiyan camp, with the whole of the
Ginyu Force lagging behind slightly, so as to not anger Zarbon anymore. He
sluggishly kicks the ground, and starts to psyche himself up mentally, so
that he is in the best possible state for what will probably be a huge
brawl.

In the
head barracks, Otaku and Korosu are hard at work training with their maximum
effort. Sweat pours down both mans face, as they hang from the ceiling,
doing sit ups. Korosu mentally counts his 10,000th sit up, and assumes that
he has done enough of them for now. He is suspended in the air by the rope
attached to his feet. He breathes hard, trying to regain his breath so that
he can get back to training. Otaku comes up to him to help him down, and
cuts the rope which he hangs from with a handy pocket knife. Korosu falls to
the floor, and thanks his elder warrior sarcastically. Saiyans litter the
area, with their hard working nature, as they become more and more powerful.
“Hey
kid, want to test out that new found strength that you have attained in the
past few days?” Otaku asked.
“Yeah,
ok, me vs. you. I’ll kick you round the floor my friend” taunted Korosu.
“Deal
then. Everyone, stop training immediately!” Shouted Otaku. “Me and
Korosu are about to show you lot how to fight. One of us is going to be
beaten to a pulp, and put in the regeneration tank for about half of a
day.”
“What?!”
“Ha,
don’t worry kid, what doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger! Now
let’s begin!”
Otaku
charges at Korosu, and knees him in the stomach before the rookie gets a
chance to say anything. Korosu falls to the ground, holding his stomach,
desperately trying to catch a breath. He begins to cough up blood, and looks
down to the injury. His armour has been broken off very cleanly. He looks up
to Otaku pleadingly, and the leader of the rebel forces kicks Korosu in the
face. He falls back holding his nose as blood gushes from it. His face is a
bloody mess, and he looks up at his sensei with a look of discretion in his
eyes. He tries to talk to Otaku, but is unable because of the blood that is
spilling from his mouth. Otaku grabs Korosu, and slaps him round the face,
causing more bleeding. Korosu is hanging limply now, as his saiyan master
holds him high in the air for all to see.
“This
is an example of an unprepared being. Do you really think that Frieza will
wait until you are ready before he strikes? He will show no mercy, and tear
each of you limb from limb! Look at this weakling here! He wasn’t able to
put his heart into it, because of his emotions. I don’t want any of you to
feel these emotions, as they will only make you weak! Now, the next training
exercise is…….” Otaku’s voice trails off as he lets off a loud gasp.
Korosu’s fist is in his gut. His eyes widen, but his look of excruciating
pain soon turns into a sly grin, as he grabs the arm of his fellow saiyan
elite, and chops it with such force that the crack could probably be heard
from miles away. The scream of pain that followed it was equally as loud,
piercing the souls of all the frightened saiyans. Korosu falls to the floor,
holding his arm whilst breathing extremely fast. He doesn’t seem to be
able to get up now, and Otaku holds out his hand, and starts to build up
energy in it. Korosu mouths the words ‘Please, stop’ to his master, but
they are not received. A blast of blue energy goes straight through the
saiyan soldiers chest, and makes even more blood scatter everywhere,
plastering the walls, and making everyone wince at the sight. Otaku shouts
over the disgruntled mumbles so that his voice can be heard.
“Get
him to the regeneration tank….NOW!” He then bends down to Korosu’s
level, and whispers into his ear. “This will make you stronger, maybe even
more so than me” He looks up to the cowering saiyans, whom he considered
to be scum, and shouts at them even louder than before. “Hurry up and get
this brave warrior to a medical tank! You people make me sick! Now train
harder!”
The
saiyans re-gather their nerve, and efficiently lift Korosu up, and take him
to the medical lab. He is put into a tank, and left in the hands of doctors.
Otaku walks up to one of them and gestures him over to the corner, away from
the crowd.
“He
will be ok, right? I mean, he’d better not die, because if he does…”
“It’s
too early to tell. He looks pretty badly hurt, and if he was taken here a
minute later, then I would guarantee death, but as it is, it is impossible
to tell. I will keep you posted on anything that happen here, no matter how
trivial”
“Thank
you doctor” Otaku said as he left for the door. He called for his saiyan
army, and they all jogged back to the barracks, to continue their training,
unaware of the evil that has landed on their planet, and is rapidly
approaching to uncover the conspiracy plot, and to destroy those wretched
saiyans once and for all!
