Back at the hospital, Bulma tried to remember all she could about the spaceship, yelling that it is absolutely perfect, that they can go to Namek within just one month and only have to do minor repairs. Bulma then announced the launch can be in five days, making Mr. Po Po say that's right. Krillin got excited, saying if she's going in Kami Sama's ship, while Karin told that this faint hope has certainly attained reality. Bulma then looked at Mr. Po Po, saying that he can go to Namek by himself, making Po Po wonder what she meant, then saying that he wasn't going. Bulma got really surprised, asking what does he mean, that he's the only one to understand Namek and he's the only one to go. Mr. Po Po then told that he can't leave Kami Sama's palace, but Mr. Po Po will teach Namekian. Krillin told that Bulma would have to go, since she's the only one to know the mechanics if something goes wrong. Bulma got discouraged, slowly saying that she will, but won't be happy. She told that she'll have to add a shower then, plus a bed and stereo. Bulma then screamed out that she will not go alone, that someone has to go with her! Yajirobe thrust his hands to hips, saying he will not go at all, as Karin told that no one expected him to. Kamesennin blurted in, saying if it's a two month round trip, then he can go! Bulma spit out that that can only add to more danger! Bulma told that Son is in now shape, so Krillin is the next best to come. Krillin got a little sweaty, saying he can go, but two months round trip and he wanted to train, and not even knowing when the Saiyan is coming back. Gohan looked a little downtrodden, while Goku spoke up that he wanted to go too, since he wanted to see what Namek's Shen Long looks like. Krillin just smiled and instructed Goku to rest up and get ready to go against the Saiyans again.

Goku told that he's counting on them, when Gohan spoke up that he wanted to go to! Everyone just looked at the young child, while Chi Chi came up, trying to convince Gohan that that was some weird joke, right? Gohan told that he wasn't making a joke, but he really wants to go. Chi Chi started getting angry, saying that if he spends two months away, while Kamesennin told himself that he has to back away. Gohan looked at his bedside, saying that he really wants to go and get Piccolo back, all by his two hands. Goku stood up for his son, saying that's good! Chi Chi ran up, yelling that that is extreme nonsense, that there's no way that that can happen! She finished up her screaming with that two months will be for worrying, and what about school, since the kids are already ahead from his training already! She yelled that she will not allow it and forbids it! Goku got upset, hearing the final words that no one cares for Piccolo, and a little kid should never go with him! Gohan then screamed to shut up, making Chi Chi shudder from her son's rebellion. Chi Chi was all by herself, saying that her little boy is a delinquent. Gohan's anger expressed that now is not the time to get upset, that everyone, for all on earth, will have to be brought back from the Saiyan, finishing that he can fight too and will do something! Yajirobe snuffed out that this kid really does say good stuff at some times. Gyu Maou told Chi Chi that she loses, that she should let Gohan fly into space with her blessing. Goku thought to himself that he is so proud of how strong Gohan has gotten. Bulma tried to make the mood lighter, saying that it will be fine and nothing bad will happen. She told that they can input the Namekian language and then meet at Kame House in ten days!

At Capsule Corp, work is already being done on the ship. Dr. Briefs marveled the ship, saying that there is someone out there smarter than him. Bulma was busy at work, telling her dad to stop staring and start working. And so, the day of departure came, with Krillin dressed in a Kamesennin Kuririn hat, jacket and boots, while also asking if they can really travel in this thing? Bulma was in a jump suit, which was very baggy, and a new haircut that looked like she just had her hair over her forehead and shoulder length as well. Bulma was just upset, saying to Krillin if he knows about the outfit to wear,, since she even cut her hair to make use of the travel. Bulma asked where Gohan is, making Krillin say that he called and wanted to go see Goku and then would right over. Krillin asked Bulma if they should take a umbrella, if the weather would be bad, making an upset Bulma say that's okay. Kamesennin looked up, saying that they're hear, noticing a waving Gyu Maou. They landed, with Gyu Maou saying sorry their late. He got up, saying that this is one amazing ship, while Chi Chi told Gohan to just be careful. Gohan had a bowl cut hair cut, a suit and shorts on, with nice shoes, as his mom told him to be sure and brush his teeth every day. Everyone fell over anime style, as Krillin got up to ask if that was really Gohan? Krillin asked what was wrong, as Gohan told that his dad laughed too. Chi Chi got really happy, saying that he will go into space where no one has, so he'll have to be on his best behavior. Bulma told that they had better get going, that she feels pretty tired. Kamesennin shook hands with Krillin, saying to do it, to find those Dragon Balls. Krillin said yes, while Gohan told his grandpa, mom, Kamesennin, and Umigame to take care!

Chi Chi told to write every day, making Bulma totally perplexed. As they made their way up the platform, Gohan examined with a great surprise, while Krillin told that this is exciting. Krillin asked where to put the bags, as Bulma told to just put them anywhere and then sit down! Krillin told that she seems in a bad mood, making Gohan confused. Bulma then told that in five seconds, destination Planet Namek will commence! After that time, they took off with a great speed, making even Gohan and Krillin tumble over and yell they haven't put their seat belts on yet! Kamesennin told everyone on his island he can't see them anymore, while Chi Chi screamed to Gohan to shampoo and condition his hair. The Namekian ship sped off ward, right into space, making Bulma get up and tell that they can move around now, that once their out of the atmosphere, it'll be okay. Krillin asked if she meant already, as Gohan told he wanted to see earth. Krillin asked where Bulma was going, as Bulma told she wanted to be alone and change now. Krillin asked what did she mean to change into pajamas, if she's tired already? The door slammed shut, while Krillin told Gohan that he was stupid to forget his pajamas. Gohan told he  brought his, while Krillin asked if he was really going to stay in that suit and tie the whole time? Gohan told no, that he made some clothes without his mom knowing. He put them on, showing they look just like Piccolo's, without the cape and turban. Krillin told Gohan that he must really respect Piccolo, making Gohan say yes and just as much as his dad. Bulma then came back, with a black jump suit, boots, and a normal shirt and skirt. Krillin told that she has strange pajamas, while Gohan said that they look uncomfortable to sleep in. Bulma told them they are not pajamas, but this is a suit designed for the deep reaches of space. Krillin asked Gohan if they did something wrong, making Gohan say he doesn't know.
