Summary:

The Last Heartbeat
Goku continued to be crushed under the Saiyan's great hands, while Yajirobe kept saying that this looks bad and could be over! Yajirobe tried to get out of it, by telling Goku silently that he would do something if he could, but it's nothing personal. Vegeta cursed Goku loudly, while also saying to just die! Goku kept saying no over and over, but was silenced, as he felt yet another bone break. This made a horribly loud scream echo across the world, making Yajirobe cover his ears. Gohan and Krillin made it there faster and faster, with Krillin saying that they're almost there! Krillin kept a vigil on the new light, saying that it's like a second sun, but what is it? Gohan and Krillin looked down, seeing a huge ape. Gohan said that it's daddy, but Krillin yelled at Gohan to hurry up and get down now and hide! Gohan asked what is that thing, but Krillin, as he made his way down, told Gohan to go down now! Yajirobe saw his two comrades, saying it's two guys. Krillin kept thinking to himself that the Saiyan made himself turn into an ape, while Vegeta told Goku that he felt the bones break on that, which must have hurt! Krillin, along with Gohan, landed, with the bald monk saying that Goku's injured. Krillin and Gohan made their way fast to Goku, when all of a sudden, Yajirobe jumped out saying hey to them. Gohan and Krillin's eye's became huge and their mouths open, until finally Krillin said it's Yajirobe! Yajirobe then pointed to Vegeta, asking Krillin if he knew what that is!? Krillin told him he does, that he can turn back if they cut off his tail! Gohan questioned the tail idea, while Krillin told Gohan and Yajirobe to go and attack the Saiyan and get his attention, then he, Krillin, will go after the tail! Krillin sped off, saying to do it now or Goku will die! Gohan got confused, but he finally went off, as well as Krillin, while Yajirobe still stood around.

Yajirobe told himself that Krillin is nuts, that even if the Saiyan changes back, he'll be stronger than all of them put together! Gohan ran more forward, saying to not die to his dad. Krillin made his way up some cliffs, saying that Goku's chi is just about gone, but this is bad, since it might be too late! Vegeta then felt something, saying that someone is out there, but where!? Gohan then came into the open, saying he's right here and to let go of his daddy! Vegeta got another shock, saying to Goku that Kakarrot's son has come to see his dad die! Vegeta said that he surely does love family, but just watch closely now! Krillin stuck his hand up, saying now, the Kienzan! Krillin made another circle of chi appear above his uplifted palm. Gohan got really anxious for Krillin to go, while Vegeta pet Goku softly, saying that this is it, where Kakarrot dies! Goku lay flat in Vegeta's hands, making Vegeta say that it's a shame that he's unconscious already! Krillin then let the sliced attack go, headed straight for Vegeta's tail! Vegeta, however, knew it's appearance and jumped into the air! Krillin couldn't even think of what just happened, while Gohan saw the attack fail horribly, as well as the disc coming to him.

 As Vegeta landed, the attack had already sliced a bit of the mountain under Gohan, making Gohan lose balance. Krillin asked what happened, as Vegeta told the other earthling behind, that if he really doesn't know, then he would be a fool to not think that this boy would travel alone! He knew someone was somewhere! Krillin didn't know what to do, as he saw utter annihilation of himself, while Gohan still concerned for his father. Vegeta smiled as he admitted that after Kakarrot is gone, then he's next! Krillin knew a huge flaw now, that the Saiyan has kept his wit in the monster form, and then apologized to the dying Goku, that he cannot do anything as to get close! Vegeta then closed his hands into a ball, screaming that this is what you all get for challenging a true Saiyan! Krillin yelled he has to do something, but could only cover his eyes away. Gohan yelled out to stop it and repeated it once more. Suddenly, Vegeta felt something horrible. He knew that a power decrease would suddenly come, because his tail had been cut off, by none other than Yajirobe! Yajirobe landed, as the tail landed too, a bit of blood coming out too, but then Yajirobe running away. Krillin tried to make sense out of this, as Vegeta said that there was a third one, but didn't expect a third one either. He then began to change, as he said that his tail is going away. Vegeta let go of Goku, as Goku hit the ground with a great force. Vegeta shrunk more and more, until he became his original size once more. Gohan called out for his dad, while Yajirobe said that whatever happens next is not his fault!
