Ballroom Dancing
Outside a large building stood the Super Saiyan
Goku, master of fighting, undefeatable in combat, the savoir of the Earth on
numerous occasions. Now though, he had to face his biggest challenge ever.
With a deep breath he slowly began to stride into the impressive looking
building, sweating nervously as he did so. Today, he would learn how to dance
so that he could show Vegeta and Bulma up at the annual Capsule Corporation
ball.
The massive building seemed to dwarf Goku as he
entered, his boots sliding mindlessly around on the polished dance floor. "Nice
to see you finally showed mr Goku, now go get changed with the others."
"Others?" Goku asked in a puzzled way, more to
himself than anything else, but thought nothing of it. He just assumed that
there were experienced dancers of sorts here for their weekly practice, or
something along those lines. Shrugging, he wandered into the changing rooms, not
even bothering to look up as he went and set his bags down on a bench.
"Kakarot?!" a voice shouted in disbelief, coming
from Goku's left. The Saiyan turned round, and was stricken with amazement as
Vegeta stood in front of him, wearing a tight spandex, blushing thoroughly, his
face as red as a tomato.
"Heh, very nice Vegeta!" Goku mocked chirpily as
his hand pinched the tight material of Vegeta’s garments, pulling it back before
letting it go.
"OW! Don't snap my outfit!" Vegeta's red cheeks
seemed to swell. Goku Smirked. "Jokes on you Kakarot, you’re late so you get the
left over outfits" Vegeta smiled slowly as he pointed towards the rack.
Goku followed the direction at which Vegeta's
finger was pointing towards, and looked with horror. Hanging on a hook was a
pink tutu, with a frilly skirt-like fluffy material around the centre. Shaking
his head in horror, Goku tried to speak, but no words came out, much to Vegeta's
amusement.
"No way..." Goku said, "There's no way I'm
wearing that!"
"Oh, so you're going to tell Chi-Chi that you
didn't take the lessons then, eh Kakarot?" Vegeta retorted, his mood suddenly
lighting up.
"Damn!" Goku yelled out aggressively, before
reluctantly taking the tutu into a changing booth and putting it on
"Besides, it brings out your eyes!" Vegeta
cackled aloud.
"Ahhh, damn it..." The Saiyan moaned as he
stretched and pulled the tight tutu outfit on. Slowly he slid back the velvet
curtain and walked out of the booth steadily, one foot in front of the other. "Ummm,
is it meant to be like this?" Goku posed.
The sight of Goku in his figure-hugging tutu was
just too hilarious to pass up the opportunity in falling classically on the
floor and rolling about in laughter. He was almost crying as he desperately
gasped for breath, as humour was dominating the eye of the beholder.
“Alright Vegeta, your costume isn’t particularly
brilliant either you know!” Goku sneered aggravatedly. Vegeta merely responded
with more laughter, unable to contain himself. After about 5 minutes of none
stop hysterics, the Saiyan prince finally calmed down, and the two of them went
on into the dance hall.
The hall was a majestic, awe-inspiring scene, its
vastness purely amazing. Inside the hall were three odd figures, all wearing
strange attire. One was a small bald human wearing tight trousers, and a having
a head band mounted round his head. He was tap-dancing gallantly and expertly,
his hands behind his back and his face fixed in a professional way.
“Vegeta, look! We’re not the only ones here!”
Goku shouted, pointing to the bald guy and his two friends. One of them was a
green, very unimpressed figure with pointed ears, and a baggy shell suit on.
Next to him stood a hugely muscular figure wearing nothing but swimming trunks
and a nervous smile. He clearly wasn’t used to this sort of environment, and
obviously didn’t like making a fool of himself as he was at current. “#16!
Krillen! Piccolo!” Goku yelled, waving over to the small group.
“Goku?” Krillen exclaimed, before trying to hide
his face. It was too late, Goku and Vegeta were bearing down upon them all,
laughing mercilessly as the trio of oddball dancers blushed emphatically. After
having a good laugh at each other, everyone settled down, sinking into a deep
silence as the instructor walked in.
“No way…” everyone said together, in disbelief at
who it was.
