Ballroom Dancing - Part 2
The silence was finally broken as the
instructor spoke, his voice slicing through the noiseless air like a knife.
"Greetings" he said, a polite smile upon his
purple lips. "Shall we get started?"
"F...F...Freeza?!" everyone yelled in unison, in
disbelief at the apparent sight in front of them - The most merciless fiend in
the galaxy was a dance instructor in his spare time!
"Now people, as they say. Let's bust a groove..."
The changeling struck a pose.
"Y...y...you’re the dance instructor?" Vegeta
mumbled.
"Who do you think thought Ginyu to dance? I know
eight styles of modern dance, two in tap, five in break dancing and a ballroom
expert. Now lets stretch. Sit down legs outstretched and reach. We don't want to
pull a muscle now do we?" Freeza giggled.
"Kakarot..." Vegeta whispered to Goku quietly,
"We have to do something about this guy! I'm not having him teach me how to
dance! He's evil!"
"Yeah, well, didn't you used to be?"
"Yeah...well...well...er...he's gay"
"You're right Vegeta; we need to take him down
before he corrupts everyone’s minds with evil dancing techniques and false
moves!" Goku shouted accidentally, having everyone turn round and look at him.
He blushed deeply whilst Freeza angrily leered at him, his feelings hurt. The
changeling turned his back on everyone, and all that could be heard emanating
from him was a sniffled cry
The changeling slumped over sobbing.
"M...M...Mother said I should have been a shoe maker...Father pushed me into
being a evil over lord...but all I wanted to do was dance!" the Changeling
dabbed at his tears with a tissue.
"Look...” Goku touched Freeza's shoulder. "We
didn't mean that... I’m sure you’re a good dancer...overlord and shoe maker"
Freeza grinned turning back to the class. "Thank
you." he whispered.
"Now class, let's get started" Freeza said
happily, his face stained with the now-dry tears as a smile beamed through. "And
left, and right, and 1, and 2..." he began, moving in all sorts of directions as
his students tried to copy him, some of them unable to even keep track of his
speedy movements.
"Why'd...you console him...Kakarot?!" Vegeta
demanded, puffing and panting as he clumsily tried to keep up. Goku shrugged,
then continued copying Freeza's moves, eventually bumping into Vegeta and
landing in a crippled heap on the floor with the Saiyan prince slouched over
him.
"Kakarot...we have to take him down now...before
he forces us to endure any more of this horrible dancing..."
"Vegeta! Keep up!" Freeza hollered. The Saiyan
groaned as he shuffled…left, right, left....
"Kakarot?!..." Vegeta whispered towards Goku.
"Kakarot!" he repeated louder. Slowly turning to see Goku smiling as he shuffled
clumsily.
"I can feel the music!" Goku leapt into the air,
his feet prancing.
"Damn! Freeza must have some sort of mind
possessing trick which turns people into idiots!" Vegeta deducted miserably as
he continued to dance with mediocre skill, pathetically shaking from side to
side and swinging his arms up and down. "Actually...Kakarot's usually pretty
stupid anyway…FINAL FLASH!" Vegeta yelled, his beam seemingly headed towards
Freeza. At the last moment though it changed direction, screaming towards Goku
instead, smashing hard into him and causing the Saiyan to be slammed into a
wall. He dropped to the floor, his torso smoking, barely even moving.
"Thank God!" Vegeta said joyfully. "Finally that
idiot's stopped!" He turned and walked off, his patience having run too thin to
continue with this stupid exhibition
Every one gasped at the sudden violence, their
eyes locked on Vegeta. "He was asking for it!" He yelled as the eyes seemed to
burn his skin. "He was hypnotised!"
"That’s your excuse for every thing..." Bulma
shouted from across the room. "Just last week you killed the window repair man
claiming he was hypnotised!"
"He was....he wanted twenty five zeni for that
one minute job!"
Vegeta angrily clenched his fists. If he was a
crueller man he would have hit Bulma, but not even he was that bad. He would
have left her long ago in fact, due to her pushy nature and her quick temper.
Unfortunately he was too afraid though, she could be one vicious bitch when she
wanted to. He wanted to shout something back to her but he didn't dare, instead
walking off with his head facing the ground, as Bulma ran after him shouting
angrily, claiming that he'd ruined their chances to win the dancing contest.
There was sudden silence as they both left the room, before a huge thud ensued,
something hitting the floor. Moments later Vegeta screamed loudly, before
running off crying.
"I...I think Vegeta actually...killed her..."
Krillen said, stricken with horror.
"Next time you defy me I won't just hit you!"
roared Bulma's voice from outside the dancing hall, making everyone breathe a
sigh of relief, as it was her causing all the commotion. Goku then started
laughing nervously, followed by everyone else, as they had to fill in the time,
and figured that they'd do the same as they always did at the end of an epic
battle.
"Ummm... Goku." Krillen walked towards his old
friend.
"Yes Krillen?" Goku replied, giggling.
"Ummm…your hairs on fire!"
Goku's laughter stopped as he felt the burning on
his head "AHHHH!" He screamed leaping up into the air running around the room
screaming. Once again the room broke out with laughter as they watched Goku
panic.
Piccolo raised his hands for silence. "Ok all
this has been a long day now...Let's get pissed!" Everyone roared in agreement,
even Freeza.
"The first round is on me." Freeza laughed.
