Summary:

The Last Dragon Ball
All around, a disaster area seemed to be the word for the setting, as Vegeta held a Dragon Ball in his hand, saying he will take this and… then suddenly, he tossed it in a lake, watching it sink to the bottom. He explained that no one will find the Dragon Ball here, but himself! He then leaped for the air, then asking what should he do now? He tells himself he knows Freeza has five Dragon Balls, so he might as well look for the last one. He then took off, while Zarbon and Freeza discussed amongst themselves, with Zarbon saying it’s taking Dodoria too long, asking if he thinks he’s chasing those other weird people? Freeza told him that he will help no fool that cannot capture children, so go and search for the last two Dragon Balls instead. An Alien-look-a-like told Freeza yes sir, that there won’t be very many villages left. Zarbon reassured that if they search, they are bound to find one. Freeza told then he will wait at the spaceship. Zarbon set his Dragon Balls down, while Freeza explained he is counting on Zarbon, with only two more and he will get his wish.

Zarbon and the other alien took to the air, with Zarbon explaining to look off one way, but if he finds a village, to not do anything, since some Namekians are stronger than him. He concluded to meet at the ship in three hours, making the soldier say yes sir, and then they both took off. Freeza watched them go off, saying it may be that Vegeta has already found them, but if he has, then he will come after theirs. Freeza knew then that it would save time to find their own, so let him attack, since they will take his two, kill him, and then have all seven sooner. Freeza opened his eye wildly, looking at the balls, and then saying he’s not in such a hurry to live forever! The balls began to float, as Freeza told himself he will just wait at his ship then. He took to the air, while Dende and the others waited around. Bulma asked Dende what he meant, while Krillin tried to make words out of it. Dende explained about the Great Elder, the parent of all people of Namek! He was the lone survivor of the terrible drought, and then Dende pointed to himself, saying he’s his 108^th child. Bulma asked what he meant, if he was alone, then how would they have parents? Dende told that they lay eggs through their mouths, how else? Bulma got a little flustered, saying that this Great Elder must be a woman! Dende got confused, asking what is a woman? Bulma tried to explain, saying that there should be two types of people, male and female, like Dende’s mother and father!

Dende got confused, not knowing “two types.” Bulma looked at Krillin, saying that they don’t have woman here, which makes this planet boring! Krillin then asked, why would they want to go to the Great Elder? Bulma still went on, saying she’s glad she’s no Namekian! Dende told that the people at his village had four Dragon Balls, and the they just said that one village was being attacked, making Krillin say it was probably Vegeta. Gohan told that there are no more chi, concluding that they’re all dead. Dende looked down, saying that there may not be very many Namekians left. Krillin knew what he meant, saying if Vegeta just got a Dragon Ball there, then there is only one village left! Krillin asked if the Great Elder had that one, making Dende say yes. Krillin grew angry, saying even though Freeza and his men do not have any scouters, Vegeta can sense chi, and can find the Dragon Balls on his own! That means, he can find the Great Elder and the Dragon Balls! Dende shouted out, saying that they have to warn the Great Elder, making Krillin say to hurry then and get him there! Gohan yelled that they cannot let Freeza have eternal life, making Dende yell to save him! Krillin told Gohan the will go alone, and have Gohan and Bulma wait here, since not everyone should die at once. Gohan told Krillin that’s okay, but to be careful.

Krillin asked if they walked so Vegeta won’t sense them, how long would it take? Dende told if they all walked, it would take upwards to 30 days! Krillin grew an expression of horror, yelling if it’s 30 days, Vegeta will surly find him! Krillin told that they have to fly then, that they can just hide if Vegeta starts closing in. Krillin told him that they need to fly as fast as they can, all with an idiotic smile. Dende and Krillin took off, yelling bye and to be careful! Dende and Krillin flew off, while Krillin thought to himself along the trip. Krillin knew that Vegeta had gotten stronger, and this Freeza fellow is much more stronger than that, so whatever Goku is going through, it has to be tough. Krillin gathered a plan to try and take the Great Elder’s ball and hide it for the five or six days until Goku comes, then have Goku do some miracle he always does. He knew that once people start hoping for miracles, then that’s basically the end, then saying his life will end and he has no girlfriend to share it with! Back on Goku’s training pod, Goku huffed and puffed from extensive training, finally mustering up energy and doing back flips.

He landed, gave out a huge breath, and collapsed, saying he’s gotten used to 20G, so maybe 30 can be conquered. He then heard a voice, asking if he can hear it? Goku jumped up, saying it’s Kaiousama! Kaiousama said that’s right, but Goku’s in outer space? He asked why is he out there, then remembered they were looking for Dragon Balls. Goku told him how come he doesn’t know, that there’s something horrible happening on Namek! Kaiousama told him if it’s terrible, then they’ll talk later, but he wants to tell that some guests have come. Goku asked what about guests, making Kaiousama say they all four reached here faster than he, Goku, did! Goku asked what did he mean by four, as Kaiousama reminded him that the knows them well! Goku began to be doubtful, but there stood behind Kaiousama was Yamcha, Chaozu, Tenshinhan, and Piccolo! Kaiousama laughed and then told Goku that they all went through tougher training than he, Goku, did!
