23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai

After the death of Piccolo Daimaou, three years later, the Tenkaichi Budoukai came once again. Everyone trained very hard for this, especially Goku, who got special training from Kami Sama. This training would prove useful, when going against Piccolo Daimaou's son, Ma Junior.

Super Dodon Pa - Cyborg Tao Pai Pai - An advanced version on the Dodon Pa, it can grow to human size and eliminate almost anything.

Getting revenge for Tenshinhan to join Kamesennin, Tao Pai Pai decided to attack back and kill him.

After Goku blew Tao Pai Pai up with a grenade, he returned back as a Cyborg with better weapons. (Book Fifteen . Chapter One Hundred Seventy)

Sou Ki Dan/Operate Ki Ball - Yamcha - After a reunion with his friends, Yamcha showed them that he can control chi too, in the form of a ball.

Over a period of three years, Yamcha perfected his chi skills, and made it to where he can control it within a ball.

After "accidentally" getting hit by Shin, Yamcha performed this move to get rid of him.

Not knowing it is Kami Sama, Yamcha got a chance to fight him, and try to kill him. (Book Fifteen . Chapter One Hundred and Seventy-Five)

Shi Shin no Ken/Attack of Four Clones - Tenshinhan - Training over the course of time, Tenshinhan developed the new attack of cloning himself four times over.

After a reunion with friends, Tenshinhan demonstrated his new techniques.

In order to show that he was the best, he made himself into four people to win. (Book Fifteen . Chapter One Hundred and Seventy-Eight)

Ma Fuu Ba Gaeshi/Reverse Evil Seal Blast - Ma Junior - Not wanting to be sealed in the Denshi Jar, Ma Junior trained to reverse the Ma Fuu Ba.

Learning from his dad, Piccolo, Ma Junior trained to reverse the Ma Fuu Ba from anyone that attacked him with it. (Book Sixteen . Chapter One Hundred and Eighty-One)

Chou Kamehameha/Super Kamehameha - Goku - Like a Kamehameha, but takes more time to charge, and is twice the size of a normal man. It was used against Piccolo's son, in order to weaken him, but not kill him.

Kami Sama told Goku to not kill Ma Junior, since they were one in the same, so Goku decided to end the fight quickly, but not hurt him.

A Kamehameha that is super charged up and extremely powerful. (Book Sixteen . Chapter Eight-Five)

Ashi Kamehameha/Feet Kamehameha - Goku - Since Ma Junior could fly, Goku had to find a way to go up to him. They only way, was to fire a Kamehameha from his feet.

After trying to fight Ma Junior on the ground, they soon fought in he air.

After firing from his feet, Goku flew up and punched Ma Junior! (Book Sixteen . Chapter Eight-eight)

Tsui Bi Dan/Drive Away Tail Bullet - Ma Junior - After a long fight, Piccolo tried to blow him away with a high powered blast.

Goku, weakened from before, almost didn't have a change against the blast.

A powerful blast almost ended the fight. (Book Sixteen . Chapter Eighty-Nine)

Furu Powaa Shu Geki Ha/Full Power Bombing Blast - Ma Junior - Like his father before him, Ma Junior created a blast that was very powerful blast that blew up the entire arena.

Ma Junior made a huge blast the blew up the whole fighting arena. (Book Sixteen . Chapter Eighty-Nine/Ninety)

Bu Kuu Jutsu/Air Dance - Goku - Since Ma Junior and Goku had fought so much, Goku learned the air dance, which was Ma Junior's downfall.

Goku won his first Tenkaichi Budoukai by head-butting Ma Junior out of the ring with the air dance.

Goku used up all his strength and finally beat Ma Junior. (Book Seventeen . Chapter Ninety-Three)
