Piccolo repeated that it was impossible, while Krillin told Goku that he's doing a good job and Tenshinhan saying he's unharmed after the blast! Goku then crept to Piccolo, saying Piccolo can't win, since he should have put everything in that attack. Piccolo stepped back, as Goku clenched his fist to Piccolo, screaming he will be the one who will win! Goku then began to power up, then looked at Piccolo, while Piccolo screamed for him to wait, asking what will Goku do? Goku then got on all fours, asking Piccolo if he was ready? Goku then ran as fast as he could to Piccolo, yelling out to go! Goku then elbowed Piccolo in the cheek, making Piccolo's cheek swollen, and one eye shut, while another one open greatly. Goku then kicked Piccolo's arm over and over again, making Piccolo fall over silently, and blood spilling out blood of his mouth. Goku then moved his arm downward, then up to Piccolo's stomach, creating more blood from Piccolo's mouth. Piccolo could only bend over forward, then fell on the ground, as Goku jumped in the sky. Goku then began his Kamehameha, and got all the way, as Goku kept getting higher. Goku then saw a fallen Piccolo on the ground, making everyone say to get down from the blast. Goku then unleashed a super huge Kamehameha, creating a huge chi ball to Piccolo. Piccolo's mouth was completely open with his blood-stained teeth, and his eyes filled with veins, seeing that this could be his fate. The blast made the arena fall apart, as Piccolo was totally empowered by the Kamehameha.

Goku then flipped himself in the air and landed on the ground, seeing the crater he created, with Piccolo right in the middle, covered with a some dirt. Piccolo's limbs lay outward and his mouth still open, when Goku asked the announcer to please count. The announcer got himself up from the ground, saying yes! The announcer said he did look dead though, making Goku say he's not dead, that he's stronger than that. He then looked up, seeing Kami, making Kami say that he is still alive, which means that Piccolo is too. The announcer then started the count. At five, Piccolo was still beaten down. At six, the announcer threw his finger to Piccolo. At seven, Kamesennin, Yamcha, and Puar celebrated. At eight, Chi Chi and Krillin made sounds of laughter. At nine, Goku looked backwards at his friend with a huge smile and a thumbs up, as everyone threw their hands in the air, knowing Goku would win! Piccolo then got himself up suddenly, shooting a blast from his mouth. Goku, still with a thumbs up, looked down in amazement, but then realized what happened, when the blast went right through his right lung!
