Dragon Team Assembles
Everyone trained hard for the Budoukai, with Gohan out perfecting his kicks and Vegeta stabbing the air with his fist. Piccolo did mental training, as Krillin tried to imagine a target in the air for his kicks. Videl practiced on her punching bag, Goten practicing chi blasts, and Trunks doing one fingered push-ups. Mr. Satan, however, was lying around and reading magazines, making Videl ask if he is going to train or not? Mr. Satan told Videl he doesn't need to, since he'll win anyway. Goku, in the other world, mentally trained on a large rock hill, until finally, the day came, making a huge smile on his face! Finally, the Budoukai comes! Everyone, except Goku, is on a plane, headed for the Papaya Islands. Bulma, driving, asked if Goku will come? Gohan told them he really would come! Kamesennin told everyone he was looking forward to this and Chi Chi asking Yamcha if he would participate? Yamcha told her that he would be slaughtered! Gyuu Maou came up, saying it's bee a while! Gohan told Krillin that his father won't recognize him, making Krillin chuckle a bit. Gohan then instructed Vegeta, Goten, and Trunks to not become Super Saiyans. Vegeta asked why, making Bulma say that he doesn't get it! Bulma explains that even in normal form, people might just recognize them from the TV from Cell! However, if they turn Super Saiyan, everyone will know for sure! Gohan told her that's right, since TV will complicate things. Vegeta then said he would just destroy the TVs, making Bulma say to stop talking like that. Vegeta smiled greatly, saying it wouldn't matter, since he will win the tournament. Trunks told Gohan that they're okay with the deal, making Gohan say thanks! Someone then said that that's good, since Super Saiyan is kind of unfair.

They flew off with others planes and arrived to see plenty of people gather far and wide. Krillin said it was way too crowded and Bulma whining it was annoying. Yamcha then searched, asking if Goku got here yet? Everyone then started to run to one spot, making Gyuu Maou ask what's going on? Everyone yelled that Mr. Satan is here now! Krillin laughed, saying that Mr. Satan, the earth's "savior" is here! Bulma complimented that he's popular, but a phony! Mr. Satan laughed wildly, both arms above his head, saying that it's great everyone from the world has come, that this is what you have been waiting for! Everyone cheered Satan's name, when a woman asked Mr. Satan what are his odds of winning? Mr. Satan then yelled that it is about 120%! Mr. Satan laughed loudly, saying that he will defiantly win this! An anchorman ran up to Mr. Satan and Videl, with him saying that Mr. Satan's daughter is participating and will that new hair cut help? She then says that's none of his business, while Yamcha smiles, saying that Satan hasn't changed. Goten called out for Gohan, saying that Piccolo was here! Piccolo stood alone, when Gohan ran up, asking Piccolo if he has seen his dad? Piccolo told him he hasn't and is he really going to fight in... that? Chi Chi began to worry, asking where is Goku, if he's in the waiting room?

Just then, a boot tapped on the ground, and Goku yelled out called out for everyone, that he's back! Goten stared up silently, Kamesennin expressed his welcome, Bulma cried and silently said Goku's name, Yamcha and Puar became happy, Trunks and Vegeta just scoured a look, and Oolong saying that it's really Goku! Everyone then rushed him, yelling out his name! Urani Ba Ba then told Goku that he has 24 hours starting now. Goku said thanks and everyone got themselves ready. Goku then saw Goten for the first time, saying that Goten looks just like him! Chi Chi then tried to get Goten from behind her, saying that this is his dad! Piccolo then told everyone that they need to hurry and sign up. At the registration table, they asked who was up, making Gohan say the Great Saiyaman. Goku asked what that was, when Trunks found out there was a children's division! The referee said that's right, making Trunks tell Goten that anyone under fifteen can't fight the adult division. Goten then got mad, asking when did they make that rule? Trunks told him that's not what they want, that they want to fight adults! The referee got confused, then said no, that rules are rules! Trunks cursed as he walked away, while Krillin got a huge smile on his face! All the fighters said good-bye to their family and friends, saying they'll go now and the family saying to have good luck!
