Mandrew's Good-Bye Message

Well, I knew this day would come. We all knew it would. I can’t be on here forever, but I will continue to try and help the anime community. For almost 10 years, I’ve been in love with Dragon Ball, and Toriyama Akira-sensei’s work, but all good things must come to an end. Today marks the final day for Dragon Ball Z, and my final update. I have put up all the work I have planned to put up, but in all seriousness, many of you have access to Dragon Ball manga and anime already, so there is not point in me going on. I have given you all bountiful, overflowing information on the show, expressing views, points, interests, facts, and down and dirty fun.

Of course, the biggest mark I’ve made is the Adventure History, creating at least 400 summaries of a Dragon Ball comic for you all to access easily. I have made other hard working material, but one would probably remember the guy who sits there and writes up long summaries and scripts for you all to read. The Cell Saga is actually my favorite saga of the whole series and I was looking forward to doing it, but I have lost so much interest, it is a complete bore and I cannot really pick myself up to do it anymore. I have given out all I have done already for you all to read and will not do anymore. I can only hope people will come upon this and learn something new or read back on something comical or tense. I appreciate everyone’s help in this, with grammar corrections, spellings, support, and aid in this section. Thank you all.

I hope you all enjoyed my time on this site, because I know I did. I look forward to the future and other anime encounters, but most of all, I look forward for Dragon Ball fans to look upon the show, and say to themselves, “This show is great, it really appeals to facts of life. It teaches sacrifice, willingness, the ability to succeed, counting on people you love, and the fact that you gotta do what you gotta do when it comes to getting the peace back.” The following people I would like to thank are:

If you are reading this, and you are, I thank you for coming to this web site and taking an interest. Even webmasters on this site or newcomers; I thank you all for support and sympathy to read this. I don’t have much to really say at all, but I do have to say this.

Even though FUNimation has butchered the show I loved before they even thought about it, I do respect them. They are human, like me, and like every human in the world, mistakes happen. Even thought they repeated mistakes, I can look past it and understand, they were only trying to take it in our best interest to get along with the production at least half of a million, if not a million, people watch not just in the United States, but in other countries and continents too. I still will not buy another Dragon Ball video or DVD from them, but since I have fallen for Yu Yu Hakusho, I will give in to that.

With that said, I hope you succeed in whatever you do. I started out on a small geocities, about 2 people a day site, some 7 years ago, and in that time, I pushed myself to get to the goal of the number one site of Dragon Ball Z/GT on the internet, and I did it. You have to love it with all your heart, and I guarantee, if you do, nothing will stop you. Not a thing. I’m not being sappy or corny or whatever, I’m telling the truth. If you want it, do not let anything stop you. There will be hard times and there will be times that you say, “It’s just not worth it anymore,” but that’s just fear and deception talking. You never know, the skills you put forth today can shape your future.
