Vegeta shook in fear, seeing Freeza calmly standing at the ground, him still in the air. Freeza had his arms folded, saying to Vegeta that he will not have a prayer with that speed that this legend of the Saiyan is just fantasy after all. Vegeta calmly asked himself if this is the best he could do, then said that he refused the truth. That he is in fact a Super Saiyan, and then greatly powered up, showering Namek with a great deal of chi, screaming out to Freeza to die! Krillin, Gohan, and Piccolo stood back in fright, asking what?! Freeza just stood there, arms still folded, letting the huge blast come to him. Piccolo screamed as loud as he could if Vegeta really wanted to just take out this planet now?! Freeza opened his eyes, got serious, and jumped up to the blast. He then kicked it up, with barely any effort, allowing Vegeta to watch his blast ascend to the heavens. Vegeta could only drop his jaw and wonder how that happened, while Piccolo said that he just kicked it off, with ease! Krillin said that that had to be Vegeta at full power, but that's impossible! Freeza then looked up, telling Vegeta that it was his turn to come back, but will start gently. Freeza began to shiver, with terror entering his soul for the first time in his whole life. And also for the first time in Vegeta's life, he shed tears. Vegeta was defenseless, for his will to fight was gone. As that happened, Freeza shot himself up, slamming his head into Vegeta's body, making the prince fly upwards.

Freeza did a somersault in the air and bopped Vegeta away with his tail, making the prince a semi-grave into the ground. Vegeta didn't even bother to get up, but only twitched slightly, as Freeza landed right on top of him. He then put his tail around Vegeta's neck, picking up and choking him, with Vegeta's back to Freeza. Freeza then punched Vegeta in the back, making blood emerge from Vegeta's mouth, with Freeza finally looking back to say that anyone can jump in to help if he thinks he can make a difference. No one moved, so Freeza began to torture Vegeta, punching him with great chi, while his allies still stood frozen. Back at Freeza's ship, Goku said that Vegeta's chi getting weaker, right after becoming so strong. He asked if Freeza is really that strong, when the computer began to blip. Goku opened his eyes, screaming that he's healed! Goku made his way through the ship, finding himself on the top of it, still wet, but determined to fight. He looked at his right fist, saying that his power seems to coming out now. He told himself that he's never felt like this, which even makes him scared. He then put his head back, closing his eyes to say it does feel good, especially at a moment like this! He the glared into the sky, yelling he's coming guys, just hang on!
