Interview With Chibi Maverick

I have managed to interview the webmaster of Gotenks Archives, and the results of it have been produced below. There are a few interesting questions and answers here, so enjoy reading. As usual I have put stupid additions in, to see what the webmaster will say, and the outcome is as good as ever. 

Seexy: What page/section do you enjoy working on most?

Maverick: Probably the Music Videos and Daizenshuu Scans

Seexy: Your site contains a lot of stuff that other sites don't have. What gave you the inspiration for these sections?

Maverick: Originality. Most sites have the same thing, just rehashed, even we have stuff that other sites have but that same thing made me think up of things others didn't.

Seexy: How long (On average) do you spend on your site every week?

Maverick: I'd say 20+ hours, working on sections, getting news, etc.

Seexy: What is your favourite DBZ movie? How about your favourite episode?

Maverick: DBZ Movie 2 and for episode, not sure of the #, but its when Gokou finishes the Chou Genki Dama on Kaioshin Kai.

Seexy: What are your favourite features about Gotenks? What is it that makes him stand out from the rest? 

Maverick: Gotenks is highly funny, and the only other saiyajin to reach the 3rd level. He had Buu beat, but the drawback of fusion, cockiness, got to him and he defused before he could kill him. He is small, funny and powerful as hell.

Seexy: What is your favourite attack in DBZ?
Maverick: Renzoku Shine Shine Missile.

Seexy: Is Gotenks Archives your first site? If not, please elaborate on what it consisted of, and what it was like.
Maverick: Its the first site I ever worked on/started.

Seexy: How much do you think you've spent on the site, including equipment, domain name, and hosting, since you opened it?
Maverick: Not much really, I started where most sites do, Tripod/Geocities then moved to several private hosts and finally got my domain which I easily paid with banner ads and such. If you count the scanner and such, I'd say couple hundred dollars.

Seexy: What are your opinions on FUNimation? Do they edit too much? Do they do a good job in bringing DBZ over here?

Maverick: FUNimation sucks. Many believe that even if they do suck, I and others owe them gratitude for getting us into DBZ, which isn't true. I originally saw DBZ seasons 1 and 2 dubbed which was dubbed by Pioneer, not FUNimation and back then DBZ was shown on local networks and had yet to move to Cartoon Network. So I owe FUNi nothing gratitude wise they just ruined the series.

Seexy: How do you feel about fandubs/subs? Should they be allowed? Do they detract all that much from FUNi's profits?
Maverick: I wouldn't be an anime fan without fansubs, I have fansubs of several series. Like most things yes they are bootlegs if you want to call them that but I don't see much harm in them, people who sell them make little to no profit.

Seexy: Have you seen much of DBGT? If so, what do you think of it? Can it really contend with the first two series?

Maverick: I've seen most of GT and think its not as great as Z or DB.

Seexy: If you've read the manga, then do you think it's better than the dub?

Maverick: The dub is based on the manga, so of course the manga is better.

Seexy: Who's your favourite voice actor?

Maverick: In the dub, noone. In the original, Ryusei Nakao the seiyu of Freezer.

Seexy: Do you have a favourite fanfic? If so, then what is it?

Maverick: I don't read fanfics.

Seexy: Do you think that Krillen was only added to the series because of his insanely high sex appeal - Short, bald, how can the women not find him attractive?!

Maverick: Ok......

Seexy: What about Mr Satan? The worlds coolest hair style, am I right?

Maverick: 5 words: White Guy with a fro

Seexy: What do you think of people who build pages which contain only other peoples information, multimedia, etc (Page Pirates)?

Maverick: Page Pirates are one of the lowest forms of scum on this planet.

Seexy: If you could wedgy, eye gouge, low blow and kipper slap any one DBZ 

Maverick: Chi Chi, she just needs to be bitch slapped across the room.

Seexy: What do you think was the best ever fight in DBZ, and for what reasons?

Maverick: The z senshi vs Nappa, back then at least everyone got a chance to fight and have a chance, be it small, to win, later in the series, people like Tenshinhan or Yamucha can't/don't even try to challenge the villains at all.

Seexy: And finally, number 20, do you think Frieza leads a secret transsexual society of gay rapists intent on making Goku one of them?

Maverick: Yes
