The Request Begins

Vegeta's enemy, Freeza, arrives on Namek to get Vegeta's Dragon Balls. Vegeta becomes so enraged, that he steps in the way of Freeza, but Freeza's power is too much. Vegeta challenges Freeza, but realizes his mistake, and is eventually killed, but requests Goku to get revenge for him and every Saiyan.

Birth of a Child

After being revived from the Dragon Balls, Vegeta grew affection for Bulma, and they both had a baby, Trunks. In the future, Trunks was without a father, because the Androids came and destroyed his life. He came to the past to warn everyone, but then was surprised to see Cell. During a fight with Cell, Cell kills Trunks, making Vegeta grow angry with rage, enough to take on Cell, even though he couldn't match the power of the powerhouse Androids. Eventually, the prince was revived, and he wished for his son's life back, and they both parted, when Trunks had to go back to the future.

Must Protect Everyone

After years of being peaceful and loving, Vegeta allowed himself to be controlled by Babidi, so he may live to be evil again and gain more power. He was then allowed to fight Goku by Babidi, but Vegeta, in the middle of the fight, realized he must protect his son, so he went to fight Buu. Realizing he couldn't stand up to Buu's power, he told his son good-bye and went to explode his body next to Buu, but it didn't work!

Human Being Vegeta

The battle of Buu was mostly fought by Goku. This hurt Vegeta's perfect pride so much, that he could only come to the conclusion that Goku has much more power than he will ever realize, no matter how hard he tries.
