Trunks floats in the air still, while Krillin yells to him, Piccolo, and Vegeta that Bulma said that that was probably Dr. Gero himself! Trunks repeats the name, while Vegeta and Piccolo just look down. All three fighters descend to the ground, Vegeta asking him if he meant that that android was Dr. Gero!? He asks what did he do, making Bulma say that she has only seen a picture of him, since he is famous among scientists. She further explains that he probably did that to himself so he may live forever. Trunks says that can't be, while Vegeta looks at his son, yelling that he has lied to us all! He screamed that he told them all that Dr. Gero was killed by the androids and even the androids are different! Trunks sees now that the only reason for this is that history is changing, all because of his trip back in time.

Piccolo grows serious, reminding them all that he said something about number 17 and number 18, so maybe that's what the androids he's talking about. Piccolo asks for what do they look like, because he doesn't want to make another mistake. Trunks says he's right, that number 17 is a guy his, Trunks, age with black and a scarf around his neck. He goes on to say that number 18 is a cute girl, that her clothes look something like his. He explains them both as being cold and they have earrings, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. Krillin asks if he really meant a girl type? Piccolo asks if they absorb energy, making Trunks say that they don't, but have infinite energy. Vegeta curses that, saying that their energy will never run out?

Trunks asks what happened to Goku, that why isn't he here? Krillin explains that he came down with the disease that was warned about. Trunks understands now how much history has changed, while Vegeta asks Bulma where Dr. Gero's lab is, since he's on his way there. Bulma repeats if he wants the location, thinking that it might be in a cave in the mountains in the Northern Capital, unless he's changed it. She also confesses she never knew he was part of the Red Ribbon Army either! Piccolo understands now, that Vegeta wants to beat him to his lab and destroy number 17 and number 18 before he can activate them. Vegeta yells he would never do such a cowardly thing, that he just wants to take care of the rest himself! He smirks as he admits that these other androids were boring. Trunks yells at him to not do it, that he should not underestimate these androids!

He yells that they must go to the lab and destroy number 17 and number 18 as Piccolo said! He screams more, saying if they can't do that, then they must wait for Son Goku! Vegeta yells that he will not wait for Kakarrot, that if he can't tell, he, Vegeta, is a Super Saiyan! He boasts more, explaining that since they are both Super Saiyans, he should be stronger because he's a prince! He yells with a smile that he will not let him get in his way! He flies off quickly, as Tenshinhan yells he's gone! Piccolo tries to think on the bright side, that Vegeta is a Super Saiyan, so he might be stronger than Goku. He thinks that they should let him fight the androids.

Trunks argues that he is a Super Saiyan too, but cannot fight them because they're too strong! He screams that he will go too, but won't like it, but doesn't want his father to die again! He takes off suddenly, while Bulma asks if he said father!? She wonders for a moment, asking if his father was killed by the androids? Piccolo says that there is no point in hiding anymore, that his name is Trunks, and his father is Vegeta, and his mother is you, Bulma. Therefore, as he points at baby Trunks, he will grow up to be that baby in Bulma's arms! Bulma looks at Trunks, as well as Krillin and Gohan, with stunned looks on their faces! Bulma asks if that's true, saying that they do look alike. Krillin understands now how he can change Super Saiyan!

Piccolo says that they should help find the lab, because the androids must be destroyed! Tenshinhan, Krillin, and Gohan think for a moment, then say yes! Bulma holds her baby, yelling that her son will grow up to be handsome! She yells he looked ugly, so she was worried! Gohan looks at Bulma, asking if she could tell his father what happened, and that he gets better too. Bulma says she will, but how, since her plane as destroyed. Piccolo instructs Gohan to take them both home. He explains if they're just killing androids, it shouldn't be a problem. Gohan looks at him with sorrow, but demands Piccolo to be careful!

Piccolo says for them to go, to find the androids before Vegeta does! Krillin, Piccolo, and Tenshinhan fly off, as Gohan picks Bulma up by her waist while floating. Bulma asks Gohan to be careful, because of the baby. Yajirobe then comes up, asking what can he do? Gohan is already flying, as Yajirobe yells for Gohan to hurry up and get him! Number 20 jumps from cliff to cliff, finally saying he should be able to fly now. His computer then picks up a life force, making him hide and look around for someone.

Vegeta flies onward, still focused on his target. 20's eyes grow with fear, yelling it's Vegeta! He thinks now that he must be heading towards the laboratory! He then looks at Trunks, who is flying almost right behind his father. Trunks remembers his mother back at his home, with her working on some parts and asking if he wants to know his father? She explains that he did lots of evil things and is probably in hell. She does say that he had a good side, but because of his pride, he hid away his goodness, but she knew it was there.

Trunks gritted his teeth, saying that his mother lied to him, that there was nothing good about him! He says that he didn't try to save his wife and baby, which is the worst thing a man can do! Vegeta notices Trunks finally, asking himself if he will follow him the whole way? He knows he can make this fun, so he screams loudly, flying much faster than before. Trunks watches his father go off into the distance, making Trunks go Super Saiyan and chase right after his father. Trunks catches up, with Vegeta noticing his son coming right up behind him. Vegeta remembers now, that he is a Super Saiyan too. He knows that it's because the brat has his Saiyan blood. Meanwhile, Gohan is floating helpless in the air, with Bulma below him and Yajirobe on top, making Bulma say he can go a little faster than this.
