Dragonball Episode 94: Solar Power!  The New Crane School Technique!

At Papaya Hospital, Yamcha wishes he could see the match. The nurse steps in, giving Yamcha a radio that she found. Yamcha thanks her and turns the radio on, tuning it in to the Tenkaichi Budokai. He wonders if Jackie Chun will be able to defeat Tenshinhan.

Meanwhile, at the tournament, Jackie Chun and Tenshinhan are ready to resume their battle. Kuririn, "They're both unbelievable fighters!". Goku agrees. Tenshinhan leaps up in front of the sun, forcing Jackie Chun to shade his eyes. Tenshinhan dives back down, before Jackie kicks him in the face. Tenshinhan flips safely to the ground and throws a kick, but Jackie dodges. Tenshinhan punches, but Jackie catches it. Jackie thrusts his arm forward, and Tenshinhan catches it. They let go and both throw punches that miss. Jackie blocks a punch, and throws his own, which Tenshinhan dodges. He blocks a kick from Tenshinhan. Bulma, Oolong, and Puar cheer Jackie Chun on. Lunch (evil form) fires off her gun while cheering (this distracts both competitors for a moment). Tenshinhan rushes in and kicks Jackie in the shoulder. Jackie grabs Tenshinhan's leg, but gets kicked in the face by the other leg and drops at the edge of the ring, nearly falling out. He frantically crawls away from the edge and gets back up. Tenshinhan grabs Jackie, so Jackie grips Tenshinhan's arms in his armpits. Jackie refuses to lose so easily, and starts to crush Tenshinhan's arms inside his armpits (looks like they're wrestling). Tenshinhan struggles in an attempt to force Jackie out of the ring. Lunch starts choking Umigame (that poor turtle) in suspense. Tenshinhan starts to head butt Jackie in the forehead several times. Jackie bends back to dodge the last head butt, and lands his own head butt on Tenshinhan's forehead. They flip back into the middle of the ring and let go of each other. They are both breathing heavily. Everyone is in shock by this amazing fight. Jackie, "You've got incredible skill. Why do you still hang around TsuruSennin?". Tenshinhan, "Don't you dare speak badly of my teacher!". Jackie, "What are you gonna do about it?". Tenshinhan, "I'm going to start fighting seriously.". Jackie is surprised, having thought he was already serious. Kuririn thinks Tenshinhan is bluffing. Tenshinhan opens both of his palms and places them in front of his face. TsuruSennin and Chaozu grin. Tenshinhan announces 'Taiyoken,' (Solar Flare) and there is a huge, blinding flash of light that blinds everyone (a familiar attack to all of you, I bet). Tenshinhan leaps in behind the blinded Jackie and knees him in the back of the neck. Jackie drops to the ground, supposedly knocked out. Goku, still blinded, wonders what just happened. Tenshinhan, "Don't worry. I didn't kill him, but he's in a coma.". Everyone struggles to regain their vision. The announcer, not blinded, starts the 10 count.

Back at Papaya Hospital, Yamcha listens in on the radio as the 10 count continues.

Back at the tournament, just as the count is about to get to 10, Jackie gets up, to Tenshinhan's surprise. Goku and Kuririn finally regain their vision. Jackie, "Hey, you should be nicer to an old man!". Umigame says Jackie Chun is tough, but Lunch points out that he is getting tired. Bulma, "Hang in there Jackie! You won the last tournament, didn't you?". Tenshinhan, "Who exactly are you?!?". Jackie, "Why don't you use your amazing skills for good, rather than abuse them for evil? Break your tie with TsuruSennin.". Tenshinhan is pissed. Jackie, "Leave the world of darkness and enter of new world of bright light.". Tenshinhan rushes in, yelling for him to stop with the corny speech. They go into a fast paced flurry of punches and kicks. TsuruSennin, "I've seen those moves somewhere before...". Tenshinhan rushes back in, and hits Jackie with a punch and a kick. Jackie, "Your movements aren't as definite as before. You seem confused.". Tenshinhan is annoyed. Jackie, "I'm not trying to annoy you. I'm just saying life would be better if you could laugh and relax.". Goku, "Hey, why wasn't the announcer blinded?". Kuririn, "How can you bring that up at a time like this?!? It was his sunglasses that helped him!". Goku is impressed. Jackie, "Do you agree with me? Or do you like being despised like TsuruSennin?". TsuruSennin suddenly realizes who Jackie Chun really is, and decides to test him. He telepathically tells Jackie that there is a cute girl behind him. Jackie turns around excitedly, only to see a fat woman wink at him (hehe, funny). TsuruSennin, "Haha, I knew it!". He telepathically tells Tenshinhan that Jackie Chun is really KameSennin in disguise. Tenshinhan is surprised, and Jackie realizes he may have gave himself away from what he said earlier. He tries to cover it up by saying that he just doesn't like TsuruSennin. Tenshinhan tells him to stop the lame excuses. Goku wonders what they are talking about. Tenshinhan, "I've got something to show you!". Jackie, "A dirty magazine?!?". Tenshinhan gets mad, "NO!". He gets into a familiar stance, and starts charging up the KameHameHa. Goku, Kuririn, and Jackie are all shocked, and Tenshinhan fires a huge KameHameHa. Jackie, "It's huge! It might kill some spectators!".. Bulma and the others hide. Jackie catches the blast, and manages to toss it off into the sky, where it explodes. Everyone is in disbelief. Kuririn comments on how strong that KameHameHa was. Tenshinhan, "You see? I only need to see a technique once before mimicking it and doubling its power!". Jackie, "You truly are amazing.". Tenshinhan gets into a fighting stance, ready to continue. Jackie, "This is getting me excited and happy. Choose the right path. I was looking forward to seeing a warrior like you emerge!". He starts walking away, as everyone watches in confusion. Jackie says he can now live in peace, and hops out of the ring, to everyone's shock. Tenshinhan wins the match.

Back at Papaya Hospital, Yamcha is also shocked.

At the tournament, Lunch points her gun in Umigame's face, wondering what just happened. Jackie picks up his gi, and starts walking past Tenshinhan. Tenshinhan asks why he gave up, but Jackie ignores him and continues walking. TsuruSennin telepathically tells Tenshinhan that KameSennin just didn't want to lose. He tells Tenshinhan that he is even better than KameSennin. Tenshinhan, "No! He didn't show his full strength!". Goku and Kuririn ask Jackie why he gave up. Jackie, "It's your turn next.". Kuririn, "That's right! I have to fight Goku!". Jackie Chun walks away, wondering what kind of new era of fighters will emerge. Goku and Kuririn cross arms as a sign of friendship, ready for the upcoming fight. What will be the outcome of the amazing fight between 2 best friends?
