Kula breathes heavily, as a gush of wind sweeps past him. As fast as the wind came, as to do the super saiyans, charging in, and slamming their fists into Kula’s face. They launch him skimming across the sea, then catch him up, and they both do a double axehandle smash, slamming in down to the sea bed.

Kula shoots out of the water a little while later, mad as a hornet. He can’t believe that these two are beating him. Vegeta laughs an twisted laugh, and Goku just smiles, knowing that the game is up. Kula pleads with them both, and starts to manipulate Goku, when Vegeta blasts him out of the sky with his big bang attack. Kula shot through the air, but still managed to gain control, and get himself off the beam.

Kula has got ripped clothes, and he is covered in blood. It drips down his face, near his lip, and down his chest. He is panted heavily, and holding his arm as if it were broken. He closes his arm, and starts to shout as loud as he can. An aura of energy comes round him, and it gets bigger, and bigger, and just as it seems as if it will never stop growing, it does. Kula shouts out “Kai-o-Kan times 20!” and charges at Goku and Vegeta, knocking them both down. He then flies towards Vegeta, and nails him with a kick to the face. He turns round, and sees Goku zipping around then place. Kula aims his eye lasers at Goku, but it seems to go right through him! It is apparent what Goku is doing now. He’s using the entrail technique taught to him by King Kai. Kula can’t hit anything but the aftermath of Goku’s figure. Slowly, Goku begins to get closer and closer to Kula, with his clone using up all his energy trying to blast something which isn’t really there. Goku manages to get behind Kula, and hammers him down towards the sea, with Vegeta catching him with a fist to the gut on the way. Vegeta holds the pose, with Kula coughing up a lot of blood, and having a very hard time breathing.

“It’s time for you to go into a new dimension!” stated Vegeta as he kept hold of Kula, opened the palm of his hand, then shot a blast which rips through Kula’s stomach, almost hitting Goku, who just about managed to avoid it at the last second.

The two saiyans laugh, as they realize that the battle is over. Gohan joins them and hugs his dad. All three of them (Even Vegeta) are in a good mood now. Goku and Vegeta wipe some of the blood they accumulated from the battle off their face, and then float into the air. Goku’s look of happiness suddenly transforms to a look of worry.

“Vegeta, he wasn’t even the strongest warrior. The strongest one is still to come. He’s on his way to Earth as we speak! We have to train as hard as we can before he comes!”

“What! Someone even more powerful than that guy?! He can’t be any more powerful than me though! I am the legendary super saiyan, the one with the royal blood line” said Vegeta unbelievingly. He then says something quietly to himself, intending that Goku doesn’t hear. “And Kakarot, one day I will finish you off” 

“We haven’t got time to argue Vegeta! This guy has DNA from the worlds best fighters! I expect that he will have a power level of at least twice of ours when we are in super saiyan form! It’s unbelievable! We have to train quickly! This guy sounds like a real threat. We need everyone we can, that means you too Gohan. You’re power is impressive, you will have to learn how to harness it though, and to use it not only when you’re angry, but all the time.”

Gohan nods his approval as Vegeta and Goku power down to their normal form. They go their separate ways, and Goku shouts out to Vegeta as they leave “Vegeta, I’d give us about a month. That’s what King Kai told me when I was down there. Train as hard as you can, I will be down to get you when the evil power arrives.”

“Ok Kakarot, but I am going to become Earths greatest warrior, so get ready for the awesome power of Vegeta on that unfaithful day! (To himself) Because after we have destroyed the evil, Kakarot, I will destroy you!!” laughed Vegeta.

“Oh, and Vegeta………..good luck” called Goku.

The three warriors then went their respective ways, with Gohan and Goku talking all about it on the way back, but with Vegeta plotting quietly to himself. “I will kill you Kakarot, and when I do, I will take this planet!” Vegeta then starts laughing like a maniac, as he glides through the air, coming to a stop at the location he chooses as his training grounds. Vegeta looks around, then closes his eyes. Before he starts to train, he must take a rest, to sleep off the fatigue he has received.

Goku and Gohan set down at home, and Goku shouts to Chi-Chi as they take off again. “Just grabbing some food! Be back in about 2 weeks!”

Chi-Chi tries to stop them, but she’s too late, and they’re already gone. Goku and Gohan fly off to the top of Kami’s lookout, and talk to the elder Namekian.

“Kami, please can we train in the room of time, as we need to become twice as strong as we already are, as we await the arrival of some sort of evil.” Goku asked.

“Yes, you may, follow me, and we’ll set it up.” Kami leads the way, and they walk down a narrow path, with a thriving garden on either side, and Kami’s assistant, Mr Popo, maintaining the exquisite garden. Kami continues to walk on, stopping at a room, which wouldn’t look out of place if it was one of the worlds wonders. It had a truly magnificent dome top, and see through glass windows. The interior of it is padded with leather, and the floor is cleanly polished, making it possible to see your own reflection in it. Goku and Gohan step onto the center platform, where Kami pulls a lever. Bright lights flash everywhere, making Gohan fall to one knee. Goku picks him up, as more bright lights come. A swirling vortex then appears, and the two are sucked into it. When they are spit out, they are on some sort of battleground, with many dead bodies paving the floor. The two of them walk forward, looking around extremely cautiously. A loud noise can be heard from behind a stone hut, and it makes Gohan jerk backwards. Goku looks around, unphased by the noise.

“W…W…What was that?” asked Gohan.      

“I don’t know son. Stick by me though, and I promise you wont get hurt.” replied Goku in his usual calm mannor. No sooner had he said anything than the creator of the noise had confronted them.

The thing was, although fairly small, very muscular. It had eyes that could easily pierce ones heart, and he was a blood red colour all over. The monster slowly approached them, with apparent evil in its heart. The monster stands face to face with Goku then slams his fist into his head. The super saiyan went soaring through the air, only managing to regain control of himself after he had been sent through many a tree. Blood is gushing from his lip, and his face is bruised. Goku struggles to come back towards the monster because of the injuries he had just sustained, but he does so ayway.

“You….you did this didn’t you!” roared Goku towards the monster. “You killed all these people you heartless fiend. I’m going to vanquish you back where you belong!” Goku stands up straight, then a yellow aura shapes around him, before turning his hair and eyebrows a deep golden yellow. Goku looks up at the monster, and approaches it with a great deal of ease. “It’s time for the suffering to end!” He swoops in towards him, and gets a punch to the monsters face in, before kneeing him in the gut. Goku then tries to follow through with a kick in the face, but the monster catches his foot, and lifts him up by it. The huge being throws Goku straight through the stone hut of which he had been behind previously. Goku is on the floor, immersed by rubble, and finding it hard to breathe.  

“I am Kahn! I was sent by my master King Cold to capture this planet! I must destroy every being here! Don’t worry though, if I fail, then a weak saiyan baby will be sent, the son of Bardock, and he will wipe out the whole race!” Kahn advances on the floored Goku, preparing to make the kill. “I am the strongest being alive! No one can rival my awesome power! The only one with the potential to, is a baby named Freeza, the son of King Cold.”

“What?!” yelled Gohan, obviously very puzzled as this is his first experiance in the room of time.

“Gohan…” Goku struggled to say. “This is 25 years ago, just after I was born…this…thing was sent to destroy Earth before I was. But…it must have been wiped out somehow…..son, get him…do it for me…”

The monster then stamps on Goku’s chest, making him jolt upright, gasping for air. This was a big mistake. Gohan’s eyes flared with hatred and anger as a blue aura formed around him, blowing many of the bodies far away. Kahn turns round, with fear in his eye, after having to firmly plant himself in the ground as to not get blown away. Gohan charges at him, and catches him off guard with a punch to the side of the mouth, knocking one of Kahn’s teeth out. He then starts to hammer away at the monster with a series of quick punches to his gut. Gohan attempts to finish him off with an energy beam, but it is blocked. Kahn shakes off the beating he had taken, then kicks Gohan in the face. The young saiyan in shocked by Kahn’s recovery, as he slams against the floor, making a small pile of dust fly up. Gohan can’t seem to get up. His body shakes oh so slightly, but he doesn’t look like he is making any advance in terms of moving from where he is. .

“You’re quite a fighter for a kid, I’ll give you that” stated Kahn, seemingly amused “But now it is the time for me to wipe you out like the filth that you are!” He pulls back his hand, ready to deliver the final blast to Gohan, when he is sent down to the floor.

“You’ll never kill my son while I’m still alive!” shouted Goku at the top of his voice. He then pulls back his arms, and starts chanting his favourite attack, as a blue ball of energy begins to form. “KAME...HAME…HA!” Goku releases the energy, and it slams into Kahn, who tries to block it. He only suceeds in being pushed back, going through countless trees, and getting numerous injuries. Kahn slams into an iro bar at the end, which bends, but the monster doesn’t give up. Gohan climbs to his feet after seeing his dads resilience, and charges up his most powerful attack. He raises his arms, and forms the energy. He then yells “Masenko!” and it goes homing in towards its target, combining with the force of Goku’s KameHameHa, overpowering the monster, and making a huge explosion, which wipes out much of the near-by scenery. When the dust clears, all that can be seen is Kahn, lying on the floor, not moving at all. Occasional twitches happen, but it looks like he is out of this fight. Goku and Gohan then charge up one final ki blast, and send it straight into Kahn’s face, destroying him, and stopping him from causing any more pain in this place.      

Rumbling is heard, and rocks drop from the sky. The ground tremors, knocking Gohan off his feet. Goku stands his ground though, and delivers an almighty ki blast at a rock that is about to land on Gohan, making it fly off in hundreds of tiny pieces. Goku and Gohan are very confused. They try flying away, but the rocks continue to fall. One lands on Gohan, flattening him, as it drives him down to the ground. The small child isn’t moving, and his eyes are shut. Goku flies over to him, in an attempt to help him out. He tries to move the rock, but as he lifts it up, he is hit by o rock himself, and it cracks into two on contact, knocking the saiyan down. Another one falls from the sky landing right on top of Goku. He slowly fades, and eventually passes out…….

Vegeta is in some sort of deadlands, with many huge skulls lying on the floor. The slow, cold wind brushes dust into the air, and Vegeta sits there, pondering ways to improve his power level. He is on a dull coloured rock, with bones of animals lying by his feet, which seem to have once been thriving, prosperous things before Vegeta got hungry and ate them. Small beetles scuttle along the floor, occasionally feeling the might of the bottom of Vegeta’s boot.

“What can I do to improve my power!” said Vegeta out loud to himself. “Kakarots probably getting stronger as we speak, but I am stuck here, having to think!”

Vegeta gets up, and realizes that he must do something fast. He has but a month to double his strength. He flies down to where Bulma and her father reside, and sets down, looking for them. He sees them working on some sort of new spaceship, apparently twice as fast as any of their older models. He approaches them from behind, and taps Bulma on the shoulder. She turns round, and her face turns blue when she sees Vegeta. Bulma lets out a shriek, then runs off.

“Baby” muttered Vegeta under his breath. He then goes over to Bulma’s dad, and stands behind him. It takes him a long while to notice the saiyan, but when Vegeta puts his fist into the side of the ship that Bulma’s dad was working on, he quickly jerks round, scared absolutely witless. Vegeta picks him up by the scruff of his neck, and looks into his eyes.

“Has that thing got a graviton for me to use in my training?” shouted Vegeta right into the face of the old man.

“Y…Yes, please, go ahead and use it, just don’t hurt me!”

Laughing, Vegeta walks into the ship, and starts fiddling around with the controls. He works out how to use it, nd starts off at 50 times normal gravity (The planet Vegeta had a gravity of 20 times planet Earths, which is why Vegeta can start at such a high level)………

 

What will happen next? What happened to Goku and Gohan when they were in the room of time? Will the graviton machine be sufficient for Vegeta’s training? All will be revealed……
