Summary:

Determination of Piccolo
Along the hillside, Krillin stares silently at the androids, and where his fallen comrades lay, left for dead. 17 discusses that cars rarely come here, so they should go somewhere else. 18 agrees, saying that she would like some new clothes too. Krillin can only watch in horror of their plans, while 17 concludes they will go to a nearby town or village then. Krillin rushes they, telling them to stop! 17 and 16 have their backs turned, while 18 watches, but 17 asks what is it and what does he want? Krillin demands what their goal is and what do they want!? He asks if they want to kill Goku or destroy the world? 17 looks at Krillin finally, thinking that they will kill Goku and then figure out what will happen next. Krillin asked why, since it was Dr. Gero who hated Goku and now he's dead! 17 exclaims Dr. Gero does not matter, since this is all a game. 17 asks if Son Goku is the strongest in the world, human-wise that is. Krillin grows red angry, saying it's only just a game!? 17 says that that's why they won't ask where Goku lives, because it's part of the game. Krillin is still angry, demanding to know now if he asked for them to stop, they wouldn't, right? 16 speaks up, replying they would not, because they were created to kill Son Goku. 17 goes further to say that that's what the man said. He goes on more to say that he, Krillin, should hurry and give his friends senzu before they die. 18 bends down to Krillin, kissing his cheek, and saying bye to him.

Krillin rubs his cheek as he watches the rose walk away, then looks to the clouds, as the androids float off. Krillin stares more, then receives a revelation, jumping to the ground below that he has to save his friends! He lands in the middle of it all, saying there's six senzu left, and Piccolo, Tenshinhan and him, Krillin, had two. He picks his senzu out of his wrist bands, saying he should give one to Vegeta as well. After some while, the senzu have been passed out, with Piccolo asking what's going on, that how did those androids know about the senzu!? Tenshinhan gets confused, asking what does this mean then, if they knew about the senzu, why didn't they kill them all. Piccolo suggests with concern if they think that they all are not worthy to kill? Piccolo grunts with remorse, saying they are incredibly strong. He admits he never thought they would be this powerful. Vegeta's emotions, however, get the best of him, and he blasts into the sky with a rage, with Trunks looking to see where he is going. Piccolo yells to not chase after him, but leave him alone for now! Piccolo explains that when Vegeta turned Super Saiyan, his pride and confidence returned to him, yet when he was beaten by the girl, his pride was taken with a vengeance.

Krillin apologizes he didn't fight, making Piccolo say it's okay, since Trunks as a Super Saiyan couldn't do anything. Tenshinhan looks at Trunks, saying that he was the one who beat Freeza so easily, yet this android beat him instead! Tenshinhan loses his optimistic mood, saying no matter how strong Goku has gotten, he probably isn't as strong as Trunks or Vegeta, so that means Goku can't beat them! Trunks knows now that they're different than the androids he knows, that they weren't hat strong, because in his time, he could at least fight them for a while. Tenshinhan ignores that, saying it's no use, since their future looks black, so what to do? Piccolo tells them that they need to go to Goku's house and get him someplace safe, for their safety depends on his health. Krillin says he's right, but what will he, Piccolo, do? Piccolo just stares into the sky, then says he has an idea. Krillin gets interested, asking why does he look like that and what is the plan? He grows excited, asking what is it, since they're all on the same side! Piccolo's eyes grow red, snarling his teeth at Krillin, and asking if he said they were on the same side!? He yelled to not piss him off, because he was never their friend! He goes on by saying he should not be foolish, for he, Piccolo, is Daimaou, only using humans to conquer the world, and never forget that! Piccolo shoots into the sky, with all eyes following him.

Tenshinhan says that's right, since he used to be Daimaou, and forgot about it. He asks if he still wants to rule the world, as Krillin just stares silently into the air. Krillin finally smiles, explaining that it would appear Piccolo was only bluffing, since he's like Goku and Vegeta. He explains that he, Piccolo, just wants to be stronger than everyone else, so he flew off to take advantage of his last trump card. Tenshinhan gets confused, asking what is it, the trump card? Krillin points to where Piccolo went, saying he flew in that direction, so does he know where that is? Tenshinhan asks if he meant over there and has no idea what's there. Krillin calmly says that it's where Kami lives. Tenshinhan repeats it's where Kami lives, but what does that mean? Krillin faces towards Piccolo's direction, away from Tenshinhan, explaining when he was on Namek, Saichourou told him that Piccolo and Kami hadn't split apart, they would easily defeat Saiyan. He suggests that he went off to re-join with Kami Sama. Tenshinhan asks what does this mean, making Krillin explain more that Kami and Piccolo will join as a warrior of Namekian, and since Piccolo is so strong, he'll become a Super Namekian, like Goku is a Super Saiyan.

Tenshinhan says that if Kami Sama is gone, then the Dragon Balls will go as well! Krillin says that that's true, but if Piccolo or Kami are killed, then the Dragon Balls will be gone anyway. Krillin understands if he went to join with Kami, then he must have felt the androids were really strong opponents. Trunks then asks where did his father, er, Vegeta go? Krillin tells Trunks he doesn't need to hide it anymore, since they know about the baby Bulma will be him, Trunks, when he grows up. He confesses the only one that does not know about it is Vegeta. Trunks apologizes, making Tenshinhan say he doesn't need to be sorry, that Vegeta doesn't strike him, Tenshinhan, as the kind of guy that would run away after a fight. He makes it appear as Vegeta is nothing but a ball of hardened pride, so he will make new techniques and defeat the androids later. Vegeta still flies onward, now a Super Saiyan, with total anger in his heart and his face. He curses loudly at the androids, yelling to the world that he will make them regret that they ever allowed him to live! Meanwhile, Tenshinhan, Krillin, Trunks are all flying to a new location. Krillin asks Trunks how long it would take for the medicine to take affect on Goku? Trunks estimates it would be about ten days, making Krillin repeat the answer.

He suggests that they can hide him for that long, but even with Goku, he doubts they could win. Krillin then looks on the bright side, saying it's good they don't have power level scanners though. Trunks says yes, while Goku lies in pain at his house. He pants with desperation any air that can let him live for another second, as Chi Chi combs the cabinets for the medicine. She keeps yelling that it's not here and where is it!? Yamcha stands in the room where Goku lies, asking if she has found the medicine yet!? He warns Goku will die if she doesn't find it soon! Chi Chi looks in boxes now, yelling back it won't help if he yells, since Goku put it away. She looks more, finally finding a small bottle, and yelling that's it here! Yamcha grows relief, as he handles the bottle and tells Goku to hurry and take the medicine. Goku swallows his pills, with Yamcha examining him to see if any affects take place? Goku's heavy breathing turn into sighs, then small gasps, as his eyes turn from pain to comfort. Yamcha stands up straight, saying it's working now.

Yamcha suggests that it may be a viral disease, so he will take it and so should Chi Chi. Chi Chi then demands to know where Gohan is. Yamcha asks what does she mean, not back yet, as though he was trying to cover something up. He suggests while laughing that he must be off playing! Meanwhile, Piccolo flies further to Karin Tower, shooting straight up the pole. Kami Sama knows something is afoot, sweating a tiny bit. Karin watches Piccolo go higher up, silently wondering what the future will hold. Piccolo grows nearer to his target, until finally hovering in the air above the ground. He makes his turban and cape appear on his body, then lands softly on the ground. Now, he stares at Kami, as Kami does to Piccolo, with the small amount of wind picking up on their clothes.
