Dragonball All Battles

Throughout Dragon ball, Goku and his friends have gotten in many fights. This section provides information on all of them, within the manga, not anime.

Battle 1 - Goku VS. Giant Fish - While searching in a river for fish, Goku put his tail in the water, to be ambushed by a huge fish. Goku kicked the fish in the face, knocking him out. (Book One . Chapter One) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 2 - Goku VS. Pterodactyl -  After Bulma was kidnapped by a giant pterodactyl, Goku jumped on her motorcycle to chase after him. Goku flew up in the air on the bike, got his nyoibo out, then smashed it over the head of the pterodactyl, killing him. (Book One . Chapter One) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 3 - Goku VS. Bear Thief - Going to Kame House, Goku was caring Turtle on his back, when he was ambushed by a giant bear. Goku fought the bear, and finally killed him with Jan Ken. (Book One . Chapter Three) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 4 - Goku VS. Oolong - Fighting Oolong to save a village, Goku chased and tracked down Oolong, until he was finally captured, and was forced to show everyone where he was holding their young girl's captive. (Book One . Chapter Six) (Correct Body of Oolong Lost)

Battle 5 - Goku VS. Yamcha - Finding their way closer to Fry Pan Mountain, Goku, Oolong, and Bulma were ambushed by the desert bandit, Yamcha. The greatest battle for Goku up to now ensued, but could have been his last, since he was very hungry. Goku fought for a while with Yamcha, until Yamcha performed his Rou Ga Fu Fu Ken, knocking Goku across the desert. Yamcha declared victory, but Goku came back, wanting more. Just then, Bulma woke up, revealing Yamcha's secret of being scared of girls. He ran off, vowing vengeance for Goku's heartless attack. (Book One . Chapter Eight) (Yamcha Might Have Possibly Won)

Battle 6 - Goku VS. Yamcha - Still persistent, Yamcha tracked down Goku, and declared another fight. This time, however, Goku was full of food, and easily won. Yamcha gave up in the fight, because Goku kicked one of his teeth out, making Yamcha say that he has ruined his beautiful body. (Book One . Chapter Ten) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 7 - Chi Chi VS. Dinosaur - Running away from a giant dinosaur, Chi Chi had to resort to violence by using her helmet and chopping the monster's head off. Disgusted, she then blew it up with the blaster ray on her helmet. (Book One . Chapter Eleven) (Chi Chi, Temporary Victory)

Battle 8 - Chi Chi VS. Yamcha - Shocked to see Chi Chi destroy the monster, Yamcha was confronted by Chi Chi, making her think he was another monster. She tried to shoot him, but Yamcha ran over and hit the back of her neck, knocking her out. (Book One . Chapter Eleven) (Victory to Yamcha)

Battle 9 - Goku VS. Bad Guy Group - Going into a town to get some gas, Goku and group were ambushed by a rabbit group. They tried to beat Goku up, but with only two hits, one each to one person, Goku had them biting the dust. (Book Two . Chapter Sixteen) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 10 - Goku VS. Carrot Master - Pleading for help, the bad guy group radioed their master for help. When he came, he transformed Bulma into a carrot, making Goku go in for the attack. With the help of Yamcha and Puar, Goku defeated Carrot Master and sent him and his group to the moon. (Book Two . Chapter Seventeen) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 11 - Yamcha, Puar VS. Giant Ape Goku - Trapped in a steel cage by Pilaf, certain doom was necessary for Goku, Bulma, Yamcha, Oolong, and Puar. But, after witnessing the moon, Goku became a giant monkey, permitting his friends to go free, but also to let Goku destroy the castle he was at. After Yamcha grabbed his friends and ran away, Goku ran after, so they decided to see if cutting Goku's tail off would work. Puar turned into a pair of scissors, slicing Goku's tail off, and reverting him back to normal. (Book Two . Chapter Twenty-Two) (Goku, Lost Consciousness)

Battle 12 - Goku VS. Police - Searching for a hotty for Kamesennin, Goku and Krillin were confronted by the police that were chasing Lunch. After defeating them, Goku took Lunch back with him to Kame House, where Goku received special training. (Book Three . Chapter Twenty-Six) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 13 - Krillin VS. Saber Tooth Tiger - Throwing a stone in the middle of a jungle, Goku and Krillin had to retrieve it for Kamesennin, in order to eat dinner. Along the way, Krillin was attacked by a saber tooth, which he promptly took care of. (Book Three . Chapter Twenty-Nine) (Victory to Krillin)

Battle 14 - Goku VS. Krillin - Angry that Goku found the stone, Krillin stole it and started to run to Kame House. Goku demanded him to stop, which Krillin did, and started a small fight. Goku easily won, standing over Krillin like he was nothing. (Book Three . Chapter Twenty-Nine) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 15 - Goku VS. Lunch - Having to take care of the house, Lunch decides to stay and help out. Goku, being the naive person he is, doesn't know the relationship between men and women, so he goes to bed with Lunch, without her knowing. Kamesennin wakes up early to make the training start for his pupils, but wakes up Lunch (trying to see her panties), and Goku too. Lunch fires bullets at Goku for trying to sleep with her, but Goku kicks her in the head, knocking her out. (Book Three . Chapter Thirty) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 16 - Goku VS. Big Man - After Goku goes to the Tenkaichi Budoukai, he must go through the pulmonary rounds. Goku's first fight is with a big man, but Goku dashes under him, going right behind him, and knocking him out with his finger. (Book Three . Chapter Thirty-Three) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 17 - Krillin VS. Mean Old Bullies - Participating in the Tenkaichi Budoukai, Krillin's first fight in the pulmonary rounds is his old bully at Oorinji Temple. Goku tells him to knock him out, which Krillin does. Krillin does one kick to the stomach, smashing his old "friend" though a wall, to the outside. (Book Three . Battle 18 - Goku VS. Dokusaa - Fighting more in the early rounds, Goku fights easy opponents, making him come closer to the finals. (Book Three . Chapter Thirty-Four) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 19 - Krillin VS. Great Fighter - Gaining experience from stronger fighters, it seems as though Krillin is invincible. However, that is smashed, when a fighter comes and hits Krillin to the ground. But, Krillin gets up, unharmed, making the other fighter say he gives up. (Book Three . Chapter Thirty-Four) (Victory to Krillin)

Battle 20 - Goku VS. Great Fighter - Thinking Goku is small stuff, this fighter goes in for an attack, which fails miserably. Goku trips him, grabs his legs, and throws him out of the rig, allowing him to go to the finals. (Book Three . Chapter Thirty-Four) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 21 - Krillin VS. Kuma Man - With this last fight determining who will go to finals, Krillin easily defeats this big bear by dodging him attacks and then knocks him out by kicking him in the head. (Book Three . Chapter Thirty-Four) (Victory to Krillin)

Battle 22 - Krillin VS. Bacterian - Starting off for the first finals fight, Krillin must defeat Bacterian. However, it is not an easy task, because Bacterian has never taken a bath in his life! Krillin feels sick and uneasy during the fight, but is reminded he has no nose, so he can't smell anything. Krillin attacks back and wins easily after gaining his knowledge on his body. (Book Three . Battle 23 - Yamcha VS. Jackie Chun - Yamcha's greatest match so far in his life, facing against Jackie Chun. This is the first time Jackie Chun has shown his fighting ability in the story, and it proves to be a great power. Unlucky for Yamcha, he tries his very best, while Jackie Chun just waves his hand at Yamcha, blowing him right out of the ring. (Book Four . Chapter Thirty-Seven) (Victory to Jackie Chun)

Battle 24 - Namu VS. Ran Fan - Trying to save his village, Namu must ignore all the attacks Ran Fan does to make him embarrassed about seeing her skin. Along the way, Ran Fan strips down to nothing but her panties and bra. This causes great conflict to Namu, but overcomes it, hitting Ran Fan over the neck. (Book Four . Chapter Thirty-Eight) (Victory to Namu)

Battle 25 - Goku VS. Giran - Goku's first match in the finals, going up against a giant monster that can fly. Goku survives Giran's sticky gum, falling out of the ring, and being brutally beaten, and still wins by making Giran say he gives up. (Book Four. Chapter Thirty-Nine) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 26 - Krillin VS. Jackie Chun - Krillin must now go against the man that easily defeated Yamcha. This fight is not easy for Krillin, for Jackie Chun's speed and strength are far superior to his. Along the way, Krillin finds the strength inside to keep up with Jackie's speed for a short time, but still cannot match his strength. Krillin fights the good fight, though Jackie Chun feels he needs to end it at some point, and knocks Krillin down for ten seconds, allowing Jackie to go on to the finals. (Book Four . Battle 27 - Goku VS. Namu -  A quick fight, although rather amusing, Goku stands up to the not so comical Namu. This doesn't give Goku any difficulty to try and stop him, however, since Goku's strength is great than Namu's. Goku defeats Namu finally by kicking him out of the ring, making Goku go on to the finals. (Book Four . Chapter Forty-Four) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 28 - Goku VS. Jackie Chun - A very long fight, ending with a surprise twist. Goku fights and gains new knowledge, as does Jackie. The fight lasts for hours, with each fighter exchanging attack after attack, seeming that no one will win. They fight with Kamehameha's, with ki, with strength, and with mind powers. Finally, Jackie feels the need to end this fight, like Krillin's, by shooting ki at Goku, making him try to give up. Goku just about says it, until he sees the moon and transforms into a giant monkey. Goku wrecks the tournament until Jackie destroys the moon with a Kamehameha, making Goku come back to normal. They start up the fight again, until they both exchange kicks in the air to their necks, making them both stay down for ten seconds. They have to get now and say, "I did so win," while smiling. Goku just about does it, but collapses, so Jackie Chun gets up, and claims victory. (Book Four . Chapter Forty-Seven) (Victory to Jackie Chun)

Battle 29 - Goku VS. A Couple Red Ribbon Army Soldiers - Searching for the Dragon Balls again, Goku encounters a new group of enemies, the Red Ribbon Army. They prove to easy, by Goku kicking and punching them without any work. (Book Five . Chapter Fifty-Five) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 30 - Goku VS. Colonel Silver - Facing one of the highest officers in the Red Ribbon, Goku now understands how much they want the Dragon Balls. But, Goku is still stronger than him, hitting Silver in the stomach, making him fall over in pain. Goku takes back his Dragon Ball and Dragon Radar and flies north. (Book Five . Battle 31 - Goku VS. A Couple Red Ribbon Army Soldiers - At Snow's house up north, Goku fights a couple Red Ribbon soldiers come in to find Goku, but he quickly takes care of them, by knocking them out. (Book Five . Chapter Fifty-Seven) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 32 - Goku VS. Lots of Red Ribbon Army Soldiers - Attacking the Red Ribbon Army base, Muscle Tower, Goku is ambushed by guards ready for Goku. This doesn't stop Goku, because he extends his nyoibo, dodges bullets, and knocks everyone out. (Book Five . Chapter Fifty-Seven) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 33 - Goku VS. Four Red Ribbon Army Soldiers - Going inside Muscle Tower, Goku surprises four soldiers, who asks White if they may kill the kid. White allows it, but Goku thinks otherwise, and beats all the soldiers up. (Book Five . Chapter Fifty-Eight) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 34 - Goku VS. Major Metallic - Going up another floor, Goku meets Major Metallic, who turns out to be a robot. Goku still fights, even when Metallic's head has been blown off by a Kamehameha. In the end, Metallic stops because his batteries run out. (Book Five . Chapter Fifty-Eight) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 35 - Goku VS. Ninja Murasaki (Purple) - Fighting the great ninja, Purple, Goku goes through a series of tests and fights, including ninja weapons, ninja attacks, and five Purple's at once! Finally, Goku defeats him by saving Android Eight's life. (Book Five . Chapter Sixty) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 36 - Goku VS. Buyon - Falling into the mysterious fifth floor with Eight-Man, Goku fights a giant, rubber monster named Buyon. Goku's attacks are worthless against it, because Buyon's body always reflects it. Goku finally figures out to freeze Buyon, kick him, and watch him crumble into pieces. (Book Six . Battle 37 - Goku VS. General White - Finally, fighting White, Goku confronts the man who he wanted to see this whole time at Muscle Tower. However, White plays dirty and knocks Goku out. This causes great anger in Android Eight, summoning up the strength from within, and hitting White out of the tower. (Book Six . Chapter Sixty-Five) (Victory to Goku's Friends)

Battle 38 - Goku VS. Street Fighter - Going into the city, Goku finds a man willing to pay 100,000 zeni to anyone that can defeat him. Goku takes up the challenge and all he has to do is smash a wall right behind the fighter, making him give up the money right away. (Book Six . Chapter Sixty-Eight) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 39 - Goku VS. Thugs in Alleyway - Seeing Goku win the money from the street fighter, Goku is asked to come in an alley and give it up. Goku says no and beats both bullies up. (Book Six . Chapter Sixty-Eight) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 40 - Goku VS. A Couple Red Ribbon Army Soldiers - Helping Bulma by stopping some Red Ribbon soldiers in mini-helicopters, Goku flies up to them and smashes their ships with his nyoibo. (Book Six . Chapter Seventy) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 41 - Kamesennin, Lunch VS. Many Red Ribbon Army Soldiers - A group of Red Ribbon soldiers have learned the whereabouts of Kamesennin and Lunch, by tracking Goku and his Dragon Balls. They assume Roshi is an old scientist that helped construct the sophisticated radar Goku has, so they want to steal it from them. However, the learn that Kamesennin isn't a scientist, but a fighter, as well as Lunch. Every one gets beaten up, except one who Kamesennin allows to tell the Red Ribbon to not come back. (Book Seven . Chapter Seventy-Three) (Victory to Kamesennin, Lunch)

Battle 42 - Goku, Krillin VS. Pirate Robot - Heading deep under the sea, Bulma, Goku and Krillin encounter a giant pirate robot, who appears to be guarding the grotto from beneath. Goku tells Krillin and Bulma to find the Dragon Ball while he fights, and finally defeats the robot, by jumping right on top of him from above, hitting his fist straight into the steel body. Battle 43 - Goku VS. Great Dako (Big Octopus) - Trying to find his way back to Krillin and Bulma, Goku gets lost and winds up finding a giant octopus. Goku wonders if he can fry him, so he fires a Kamehameha, burning the octopus up. (Book Seven . Chapter Seventy-Six) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 44 - Krillin VS. General Blue - Finding a great treasure at the end of the maze, Bulma and Krillin feel quite at ease. That is, until Blue comes. Krillin has a tough fight, never really gaining the upper hand, and soon feels very out of strength. Blue brings up a rock to smash on Krillin's head, but Goku appears, to save the day. (Book Seven . Chapter Seventy-Six) (Victory to General Blue)

Battle 45 - Goku VS. General Blue - Krillin's fate seemed immediate, but Goku came to help him out, at the last second. Goku fights him for a bit, but is stopped by Blue's paralysis attack. A mouse comes by, scaring Blue, allowing Goku to move, and knock him out. As soon as Blue is down, the cave starts collapsing, making Goku and friends run out. (Book Seven . Battle 46 - Ariel VS. General Blue - At Penguin Village, Blue tries to run away from Goku, but Ariel sees him and wants to play. Blue tells her he has no time, but she really wants to. Goku drops in and asks for help, because Blue is a bad man. Ariel, naive as Goku (as well as a robot), understands and tries to stop him by hitting him in the air with her head to his stomach. Battle 47 - Bora VS. Seven Red Ribbon Army Soldiers - At Karin Tower, the Red Ribbon Army has detected a Dragon Ball and want it back, badly. Bora thinks otherwise and defeats all but one. (Book Seven . Chapter Eighty-Four) (Victory to Bora)

Battle 48 - Goku VS. Helicopter Fighter - Seeing the mayhem from below, Goku decides to help Bora out by defeating the one man Bora missed by smashing his helicopter. Goku brings out his nyoibo and does so, allowing peace to return. (Book Seven . Chapter Eighty-Four) (Victory to Goku)

Battle 49 - General Blue VS. Tao Pai Pai - Angering Red that Blue did not complete his full mission, he orders him death. But, he changes his mind to think he can give him a second chance by fighting Tao Pai Pai. Blue accepts, but before the fight, Tao says that he will beat him with only his tongue. Blue laughs, but does not think it's so funny, when Tao's tongue hit's him, and he falls dead. (Book Eight . Chapter Eighty-Five) (Victory to Tao Pai Pai)

Battle 50 - Bora VS. Tao Pai Pai - Assigned to get the Dragon Balls, Tao Pai Pai goes out in search for them, arriving at Karin Tower. Bora fights for his right to stay and keep what is his, but Tao thinks otherwise, and kills Bora with his own spear, straight through his chest. (Book Eight . Chapter Eighty-Six) (Bora, Dies)
