Summary:

Gohan and Piccolo
Piccolo descends to the ground, holding Gohan tight in his left arm. He then holds the child up by the collar, telling him to wake up now. Gohan still remains asleep, making Piccolo smirk at him. He drops the boy into the water, which bubbles soon rise up to. Gohan cries his way back to the surface, crying loudly and running around blindly. He takes a look at where he is now, when Piccolo catches his attention, saying that they have to talk, so get out of the water! Gohan gets confused, as the green warrior stares silently with a frown at the person he wants to be with the absolute most. Gohan screams a little, asking who are you to Piccolo. He then looks for his dad, screaming out for his dad to come! He runs around more, yelling for his dad to help him! He finally stops in the water, yelling for his dad and yelling that he's scared! Piccolo growls at Gohan, saying that this is more than enough trouble! He then grabs the child, throwing him on land and making him cry once more. Piccolo demands for him to quiet up now or he shall slit his, Gohan's, throat! Gohan wipes his eyes, while Piccolo explains that his dad is dead, that he gave is life to kill his kidnapper.

Gohan realizes now his dad is gone and starts to bring his tears back. Piccolo yells for him to not even start now, making Gohan just sniffle a little. Piccolo explains that this boy knows of the Dragon Balls, so Goku's friends will find them and bring back Goku to life. He goes on further, saying that the man's death is not a problem, but it's the Saiyan that they killed friend's that are more powerful than him coming! Piccolo yells that when these two Saiyans come, him and Goku will have no chance against them! He further screams that they need his, Gohan's, power to defend the earth! Gohan reluctantly says that he can't fight at all, making Piccolo explain that the boy's power is hidden and will eventually be brought out by the great training of Piccolo! Gohan's tears form again, saying Piccolo is a liar and he has no power. Piccolo smiles, asking if he really wants proof? He grabs Gohan's head, making Gohan yell to stop! Piccolo ignores the yells for him to stop and to let go, but finally replies, when he jerks back his arm, with Gohan still holding on and is then flung right for a giant hill. Gohan screams loudly, as his body has no control over his direction of the hill. Gohan sees the cliff, knowing he will reach certain disaster! Piccolo watches too, yelling to hurry and find the power, or mush against the rocks! Gohan doesn't yell in terror now, but in anger, as his eyes turn blood red and chi swells from within his body.

Now, instead of his arms backwards, he puts them forward with confidence, and a ball of chi surrounding his body. He shoots out a tremendous amount of energy, as the cliff suddenly explodes from the impact. Piccolo cannot believe his eyes, seeing a boy's power suddenly explode from within. He puts his arm up to block his face from debris and also from the blinding light engulfing the area. Smoke reaches towards Piccolo, as well as Gohan, who has pushed his body back to the starting point. They both look at the mess, looking at at what seems to be a concave structure of earth, reaching almost a mile! Piccolo stares, saying he knew dreamed of this! Gohan looks at what he has done, while Piccolo walks towards Gohan, asking himself what will he do now? He knows that maybe someday he is training the boy that will become his most greatest foe! Gohan looks back at Piccolo, asking if he really did that? Piccolo explains to him that it now becomes clear! Piccolo concludes that his great power comes from emotions and is usually very powerful. He goes on further with the calculation, explaining that it is only for an instant too, so it's not very useful.

Piccolo explains to Gohan that he shall teach this young boy how to use that powerful and may become the most greatest fighter ever! Gohan defends his story, explaining he doesn't want to be a fighter, but a scholar! Piccolo argues back, explaining he may be what he wants after the fight of the Saiyans, but if he does nothing, the Saiyans will destroy the earth and that will stop his little plans to study, right? Gohan puts his hands together, while trembling with fear in his eyes, saying he's scared. Piccolo demands for him to stop whining now or he will kill him, Gohan! Piccolo yells that the time to talk has now ended and demands for Gohan to take off his surcoat! Gohan takes it off slowly, saying if his dad is coming back, then he wants to be trained by him! Piccolo smirks at Gohan's idiocy, revealing that his dad is powerful, but no master of teaching. He also reveals that he has done nothing to teach his son to be tough at all! Goku suddenly sneezes, still jogging and running along Serpent Path, not knowing of the misery his son will go through.
