Summary:

An Unexpected Strength
Goku and Piccolo continued to fly on, when Goku instructed to go to the right, which they both did. Elsewhere, Radditz was with a crying Gohan, demanding that the brat to shut up, for the blood of Saiyan continues it's way through the boy! He then just grabbed Gohan's collar and threw him in the pod, telling him to stay there. Radditz climbed out of his crater, telling himself that he must nourish his body now. He then felt a reading on the scouter, looking around, saying it's an alert near here. He then yelled it's power was 710 and very close! He then looked at the pod, where four arrows on his scouter pointed to. He then asked his scouter if it meant the infant? Radditz then made the scouter stop, saying it's nothing but junk and it's a horrible time to malfunction. Goku then reported to Piccolo that they were very close and should land. Piccolo screamed back it wouldn't make a different, making Goku ask why? Piccolo explained that he has a device that reveals a fighter's position and power! Goku asked if he meant he meant Radditz knows they're coming, making Piccolo say yes. Goku then stared hard on at his target, telling him they just have to attack head on then! Radditz looked around at his site, seeing is scouter go off again, saying that it's still 710!

He then picked up a new reading, that was coming in quickly! He then saw that there was one, then two! One had a power of 322 and the other 334. He then said that Kakarrot has a power level exactly to one of those. Radditz then asked why he would try to challenge him, since he knows he has no hope, and other than that, how could he find him? Radditz told himself that this gadget is worthless, but then looked up, seeing his brother and arch rival, saying it is them! He then looked at his pod, saying that his scouter is not broken then, and the child in there, even for a Saiyan, has a power level of 710! Goku jumped off his cloud and Piccolo stopped flying, both landing on the ground facing Radditz, with Radditz saying that they both found a common cause now. Radditz demanded to know how they both found him, making Goku say that they just did and that's all. Radditz had his arms folded, saying he wants to ask another question then. Why did they want to find him? Goku then grew angry, saying that it's obvious, that he wants his son back! Radditz then asked if he meant he would not join his Saiyan clan, creating an enraged Goku yelling to get his son back! Radditz then asked if he meant he would go back on his brother then, making Goku yell he has no brother! Radditz scolded Goku, saying he thought he was much more than that, that how can any Saiyan be a fool!?

Radditz got a huge grin, asking if they both expect to beat him? Piccolo then threw his cape off to the ground, telling Radditz he talks too much. The cape slammed hard, as if weight were inside it. Goku then asked if Piccolo was armored, making Piccolo say he is too. Piccolo must have had that weight on for a long time, because he told everyone that he hasn't felt light for so long. Radditz then displayed his numbers, saying his power is 408 now. Goku then took off his clothes that were weighted too, telling Piccolo he must have trained hard, and is glad he is on his side this time! Goku finally had his weights off, saying that this will be one interesting fight! Radditz noticed now that Goku's power is 416! Radditz then laughed loudly, saying that if they think that will tip their scales, then they are dead wrong! Radditz bellows out with laughter, screaming that if they had hundreds more to their power, they would still be no match! Goku then got himself ready, telling Radditz if he thought power was everything, than he is no fighter! Radditz got himself ready too, telling Goku that he will forgive his youth, but his idiocy is pathetic for a Saiyan mission! Radditz then yelled that he is a shame to his race and should die! Goku and Piccolo then got their defenses up, as Radditz ran at them for the attack.

Goku couldn't see him, and was somehow knocked from behind, as well as Piccolo. Goku and Piccolo both jumped out, as Radditz stood there, as if nothing happened. Goku looked back at his brother in shock, saying he's so fast, he couldn't see him! Piccolo looked back as well, saying that he saw him charging for them, but then attacked from the back! Radditz then crouched his body for another attack, complimenting his brother and partner on their defenses, for it will only keep them alive for a few minutes, and then he will increase the power of his attacks! Piccolo got himself ready, telling himself that he showed no power like this before! Goku got himself ready as well, saying that his power is in his tail, but how do they get it? Radditz then shared information, that if they should somehow win, that his two partners, the other two Saiyans, are both superior to strength, compared to his! This made Goku and Piccolo's eyes bulge out, thinking of someone stronger than this guy!
