Dragonball Z Episode 121: No Match For The Androids

The episode starts with Trunks blindly flying in, sword in hand, in a futile effort to save his father. He viciously swings his well made weapon and connects only with #18's arm, and she somehow possesses the speed and strength to see and block such an attack in mere seconds. Trunks is shocked as he continues to press down hard against the Androids arm, until his sword is broken near the tip. He looks down at it in fear, and is then smashed down to the floor by #17 who has interfered in the fight just as Trunks did. The young super Saiyan skids across the floor, and lies next to his motionless father. 

Tien and Piccolo fly in in an attempt to save the two Saiyan's, but receive the same treatment, with #17 easily dodging Piccolo's callous punch and countering it by smacking the Namek down to the hard, unforgiving ground. Tien comes at him soon after, as is grabbed in a modified chokehold, similar to a reverse chin lock. He desperately tries to hold onto his consciousness as he fades away, unable to escape the dastardly grip of the evil Android. 

Vegeta and Trunks are regaining their composure, and see that Tien is being hurt badly. In a frenzy of rage after having his pride destroyed, Vegeta charges at #17 to help the Earthling Tien. His foot is grabbed by the relentless female Android #18 though, and try as he might, he is unable to escape. Not even thinking about the attack, #18 seemingly effortlessly throws the stubborn Saiyan right into his son, knocking them both down, and rendering Trunks unconscious. 

Seeing his opportunity, Piccolo takes advantage of the fact that #18 is temporarily distracted, and charges full force at #17. He hits only air though, and is rewarded for his courage with a powerful kick right in his stomach, almost ripping right through him. The Namek falls to the floor in agony, and so does Tien who was released when 17 attacked. Everyone seems to be beaten now, except Vegeta who refuses to give up.

The gallant Saiyan jumps up and rapidly fires a small KI blast at #18, but she leapfrogs it, and hits Vegeta so hard that he is knocked down, and unable to get back up, with his arm continuing to provide him intense pain.   

Watching all the devastation from above is Krillen as he quietly hopes not to be spotted, and prays for his comrades' survival. He is heard conversing to himself though, and the Androids approach him, make some threatening remarks, then begin to walk off in search of Goku. Despite major protest, Krillen can't make them change their mind, but they suggest he feeds everyone a sensu before they die. He sees them all, then #18 walks towards him and kisses him on the cheek playfully, wishing him good luck. The Androids then leave, about to hunt down Goku.
