Dragonball Episode 105: Yajirobe, a Jolly Good Fellow!

(original, Japanese episode)

The warrior stares up at Goku, and he is wearing the One-star dragonball around his neck.  He calls Goku a thief for eating his fish, but Goku claims since it was on the ground it was fair game.  The man is still not happy Goku ate his breakfast.  Goku notices the dragonball hanging from around his neck and accuses the person of being in association with Tambourine.  Goku asks where Tambourine is so he can avenge Kuririn’s death, but the other fighter refuses to let Goku change the subject and take a sumo-fighting stance.  He calls Goku a runt, and Goku retaliates by calling him a fatso.  The fighter gets ticked off at being called fat and the two attack each other.  The fighter tries a drop kick and a bunch of kicks and punches, but then connects with a head butt.  Goku wasn’t expecting it, but attacks and connects with a head butt of his own!  The fighter misses another kick and receives a punch to the face from Goku followed by a tremendous kick that sends the sumo fighter crashing into a mountain.  Goku asks the fighter if he gives up, but after emerging from a pile of rocks, a stare down ensues.  Goku has never met anyone that can take a full blow of one of his kicks, and the fighter realizes Goku is special and never met anyone as powerful.

Tambourine is shown flying through the air crumpling pictures of fighters he has defeated.  He is trying to decide whom he’ll fight next and sorts through pictures of Jackie Chun, Tenshinhan, and Yamcha.  In the meantime, Kamesennin hides Yamcha, Lunch, Bulma, Puar, Turtle, and Oolong while he, Tenshinhan, and Chaozu prepare to find the monsters.  Lunch yells at Tenshinhan that if he doesn’t come back alive, she’ll kill him!  The three fighters then take off in the plane.  Bulma throws a capsule and out pops Kamesennin’s house.  She heads inside to make a refrigerated capsule for Kuririn’s body.

Pilaf approaches Piccolo Daimaoh and offers him some entertainment, a dirty magazine!  However, the Demon Lord seems uninterested.  It turns out he is asleep with his eyes open.

At Kame House, Bulma complete the capsule and Yamcha places Kuririn inside.  She shrinks the capsule and puts it inside her panty drawer, which Oolong claims Kuririn is so lucky.  Bulma offers to kill Oolong to put him in there with Kuririn!

Cymbal continues searching for the dragonball as Goku and the mysterious fighter continue arguing.  The fighter asks who he is and Goku gives him his name, but the fighter refuses to reveal his own.  Goku and the fighter get in a shoving match, but Goku jumps back and the fighter falls on his face.  Goku says the dragonball only has one star and is not one that he had.  Goku starts laughing and tries to apologize, but the fighter wants Goku to spit up that fish.  However, Cymbal shows up on the battlefield!  Cymbal asks them if they have seen the dragonball around those parts and the fighter gets mad.  Cymbal sees the ball around his neck and says, “How lucky!”  Goku realizes Cymbal is with Tambourine.  Cymbal keeps telling the “Fatso” to give him the ball, but the fighter refuses.  Cymbal says he’ll just kill him and take it anyway.  Goku wants first crack at the monster, but the fighter tells him to stay out of it and they argue.  They decide to play Paper Rock Scissors and the fighter wins with paper over rock.  The fighter vows to make Cymbal his breakfast and attacks, only to receive a few punches and get knocked head over heels.  Cymbal laughs at him but he gets up and dusts himself off.  Goku laughs at him too.  The fighter lands a HUGE kick that knocks back Cymbal.  Cymbal charges a ki blast and fires a stream of electricity at the fat fighter, making him dance.  “Fatso” reveals himself as Yajirobe and reaches for his sword.  Cymbal doesn’t care who he is and continues with more lightning blasts.  Yajirobe dodges them all and gets in close to Cymbal, removes his sword, and slices!  Cymbal stands in shock as Yajirobe puts his sword away.  Cymbal then comes apart at the middle!  Yajirobe has sliced him in half!  Lord Piccolo’s eyes almost bulge out of his head as he reveals to Pilaf that Cymbal has been killed.  Just who is this Yajirobe?
