Are You Single? Find Love

CNAnime 2001

Sunday was my last day at the con and I had nothing to do in the morning so I checked out the Ah! My Goddess The Movie. I was looking forward to it but I realized that it was just in Japanese with no subtitles. So I left the theatre. I went shopping one last time to see if I missed anything and a lot of stuff was marked down since this was the closing day. I picked up McFarlane Toy’s "Vash the Stampede" figure for a very good price. He is on my shelf right now battling a Piccolo and a Tallgeese III. I rushed off to Scott’s last signing and got him to sign my shirt and I got an autograph for Jon Allen and Kyle Hebert (VA of Adult Gohan, New Narrator and more)

I visited Chris and Eric once more. I got Chris to sign my Trunks video and Eric to sign my Vegeta shirt and I told them I would see them at their Q and A session. When the Question and Answer started Hunter Muse was there because Eric and Chris were a little delayed from signing autographs. Hunter is a great guy though and I think he is under appreciated. Hunter answered some questions and then Chris and Eric entered the room. The fun was about to begin!

I knew most of the information being revealed, but I am now allowed to disclose it. So take out your pens and papers because I am dishing out the news! Babidi is being played by the same guy who played Barney (Yes, the Dinosaur). I believe his name is Duncan something. A French man named Marco Marcell will be playing the role "Salza" in Cooler’s Revenge and Josh Martin (A Member of Mike McFarland and Chris Rager's comedy troupe) will be doing the voice of Majin Buu. There was probably other stuff too but I am just forgetting it. A lot of fun stuff went on. Chris and Eric improved a father and son scene for everyone. Questions were asked regarding sexual innuendo between Trunks and King Kold. The guys were really cool about everything even though some people seemed to insult their work. I myself asked some questions that made them think and laugh.

My last thing for the day was to watch the "Babidi: Battle Royal" screening but alas this was canceled as well and replaced with Lord Slug which also kind of upset me. I have Movie 4 at home (unfortunately) so I wanted to see the dub to see how it was done, but they aired the Japanese version.

Well I packed my bags and got into the car. I put on my new Trigun CD and reminisced about the weekend. It started raining on and off throughout the trip back. I checked my answering machine with my cell phone (1 message, man I hate to be soooooooo popular). I reached my house and my journey was over.
