Gohan's Vengeance

Chapter Eight: "Saving Grace: Is Vegeta the One?"

"What the hell are you bluffing about?" Vegeta asked him, annoyed.

"This is no bluff, my friend!" #22's eyes flashed robotically.

The demonic android shot Vegeta with a powerful chi-blast. Vegeta absorbed the blast when he charged his aura to a massive blue ball of light. His muscles bulked to a huge state. His pupils shrunk away and his hair became more pointed and yellow. He was now in Ultra-Super-Saiyan form.

Vegeta threw his arms above his head and back down again. "FINAL FLASH!"

The impact of the energy flung #22 backwards into a heap of crushed stone. He was lying down, unable to get up.

He opened his eyes and saw Gohan standing above him. "You've lived long enough!" He began firing many, many energy blasts at #22. "Ha! Whoo! Ha! Ugh! Ah! Hoo! Ha!" He stopped for a breather, and began firing again.

"You little asshole!" Vegeta pushed him aside. "You know you can't defeat a fighter like him with puny blasts like that!"

Vegeta began firing huge man-sized blast similar to Gohan's. He wasn't moving when Vegeta stopped. "GALICK GUN!!!" He shot a huge purple chi wave against the seemingly lifeless body of the cyborg.

Gohan got up and pushed Vegeta out of the way this time. His blasts were bigger and more effective this time.

"How is it that I am being outdone by a half-bred child?" Vegeta said.

Gohan stepped back. "MASENKO-" an energy ball formed in his hands, "-HAHHH!!!" And the massive wave if chi dug #22 at least feet into the ground.

The thick smoke cleared and the beast was lying on his stomach. His body was scuffed and dented. His shoulder plate was missing. Gohan allowed #22 to get up.

His robotic voice box must've been damaged. His voice was mechanical and monotone, and every time he spoke his head twitched violently. "V-Very well…s-small child…eh, b-but I'm not out f-for th-the c-counnnnnnnnnnnnt just y-yet!" The machine laughed. He cleared his throat. "Whoops! Gotcha!" He revealed that his voice wasn't damaged at all.

"And now that I'm warmed up, let me display my true power." The android released a massive red aura from his body.

"CRIMSON RAGE FLASH!!!" The red aura grew so strong that the Z-fighters were absorbed into it.

"Gohan!" Krillin yelled.

"Krillin! Where are you?" Gohan answered. They were all swirling and being thrown around amongst the red light.

"ARRRGGHHH!!!" Gohan hollered as the light burned into his skin.

"URGH! AH!" Vegeta struggled to find his way out.

Then there was an incredible high-pitched sound followed by an excruciating burning. The light died down, and they all found themselves on the ground with decreased power levels.

"Ah, m-my head…" Tienshinhan cried.

"M-Must g-get…up…m-must d-d-defeat…An-An-Android #22," Vegeta struggled.

#22 was the only one laughing. "No use! Don't even get up, just sit back and relax while beat you to hell!"

"S-Son of a BITTTCCCHHH!!!" Vegeta yelled. He tried his hardest to get up. He couldn't.

"H-How can he be t-that strong?" Chioutzu screamed. He stood and brushed the dirt off his shirt.

"I've had it-YAHHHH!!!" The tiny mime threw himself on #22's head.

"CHIOUT-ZUUUUUU!!!" Tienshinhan yelled in horror as he watched his little buddy's body explode. However, #22 remained standing, unhurt at all.

"Who's that?" Trunks looked up into the sky.

"Guys! I'm here! It took me a while, but here's some Senzu!" Yajirobe flew down in his air-car.

Yajirobe gave Trunks the bag. He passed one to Gohan.

"NOOOO!!! This is my only chance! I couldn't beat Kakarot! I couldn't beat Freeza or Cell! I WILL FINALLY WIN!!!" He ran and tackled Gohan, stealing his bean, and eating it.

He fired a small chi-blast at the Senzu bag. It fell from Trunks's hand.

"Now I will become the one! I will evolve to a level far beyond Ascended Saiyan!" Vegeta smiled.
